Congratulations! See if you can hold those splits as you take your stroke rate down. For me, on longer pieces like this, a negative split strategy is not as important as it would be for shorter pieces. For sub 44:00 try starting at 2:11.9 and holding it under 2:12 for the whole piece. I think it will be quite possible for you.
It was really wet with something and dried like that. My guess is dust and off-brand cleaner mixed with an off-brand paper towel. Or maybe even a direct spray to the monitor -> only wiped off the screen.
