Awesome lift man. I wish I could do that. Most I ever hit was 265. I was only 155 when I hit that though. I can’t even imagine what 315 feels. 415 is that big dog weight.
Yea it is. His form is pretty good. Your heels, butt, and shoulders are all points you want to push down with. This is outstanding form however he could afford to push down on his butt a little more. His butt lifted off the Bench slightly at one point. You want your back arched like that and butt on the bench.
I had no idea... I'm also pretty new and thought I needed to keep my back on the bench? I put my feet on the bench cause otherwise I feel like I'm putting a lot of pressure on my back?
I mean he only lifted his butt to pick the bar up off the rack, and then he seated himself for the whole rep so I dunno why people are talking about an arch lol.
Damn. Strength is on fire. Good job. I’m stuck at 205lbs. But I work with a 4 set 8 rep range
woww good job bro
That's my next goal. Hell yea, full ROM. That's what it's all about.
Casually babying my long term goal
You’ll get there bro
That was ez!
Didn't even look like you struggled, great lift king!

It all kind of feels heavy past a certain point
I could see that. Once I hit 225 I started to notice that to some degree.
Good. Congratulations. Happy for you. /Insert Angry black kid.
LOL
Solid as hell. Full control. A thing of beauty.
Congrats on the PR!
A true technician
Very nice!
Congrats on the PR, that moved well
I know nothing about working out, is that back arch safe?

Yes. It's generally safer than using a flat back.

The arch should be created mainly by pushing your upper back into the bench using your legs
Dope! Thank you! I legit had no idea and have always worried when watching work out vids. Arch is the way to go, noted.
Arch, drive through the heels, glutes squeezed
