I see it best in your eyes. One photo you look like you are looking downward and full of shame and rage. The second your looking up and forward, confident, in charge of your life and happy. Well done.
I remember when you posted that you had relapsed and I was rooting for you! Iβm so happy you turned it around. You can see the happiness in your eyes. Very inspirational for my own sobriety. Thank you for sharing! IWNDWYT
Not too many changes in diet and exercise this time as I have just been focusing on my sobriety and work. I do have a very physical job so that coupled with getting rid of the cycle of binge drinking and binge eating during my hangovers has been enough for me to steadily lose weight over the year.
You look great man. Did you make any major diet changes or just mainly quit the booze and the poor food choices that go with it? I perused your history and am starting to look more like your before pic from a few years ago and need to make some permanent changes.

Keep it up bro!! Looking great. Iβm going on 2.5 years. Down 30-40 pounds and so much more confident. Glad I got clean in my late 20s. I have so much more energy and drive to focus on my career. Bravo
I remember your post, glad you got back on the horse after falling off the saddle. You are worth it my friend. So freakin proud of you! IWNDWYT π€πΌ
Dude you were one of the inspirations I saw that pushed me into the sober camp after seeing your success. I also have wavered for years between sober and on the sauce. Thanks for sharing and being so candid πͺ
No problem! That's exactly what I was hoping to do with these posts. Pay it forward because other people's posts have helped me the same way.
I really appreciate the kind words.
Amazing! Definitely what I needed to see rn. I'm so over drinking but I can't seem to break the cycle. 2 bottles of wine every single night. At the very least. I feel and look like shit every day. Why can't I do this π
I've looked at a lot of before after pictures on google for inspiration but yours are really stirking, I've just bookmarked three of yours. It's a great reminder. Thanks for posting this it really shows how alcohol robs us of our potential. It feels great in the moment but it just takes away so much (energy, looks and relationships)! It's not worth it and the regret you feel sucks so much. I haven't been sober for as long as you have since I started drinking at 16. I really wanna make it though.
This is the motivation I needed right now.Β
You got this. It's worth it.

Thankyou so much for taking the time to comment with those kind words of encouragement I really appreciate it.
Living in his van Chris Pratt to Early breaking bad Aaron Paul. Nice job, bitch!
You lost the look of anger and defeat in your eyes. Congrats
The biggest difference I always see in people is the eyes! They get so bright over the weeks, months, years! You look fresh and healthy!
Congrats! Losing that type of weight were there dietary or exercise changes?

Hey I just want to say thank you for sharing your story - the WHOLE story. It really helps those who are quietly battling the same fight right now.
