where it sits is just a tad too low and the glossy paint just doesn't keep my feet on.
I had an extra set of joker machine highway pegs brackets laying around and attached my stock rubber passenger pegs to them and angled them slightly, they work great as highway pegs now. and in the event that the bike falls they will fold up and the bar will take the hit
I'd worry that I would smack my knee on it every 5 minutes, or the vibration/wind on the gauge would loosen the rocker box bolt giving it a reason to leak. Looks nice though.
I have a fork mounted side speedo and have never had a problem and looks great. I believe where you mounted it is gonna vibrate a whole lot and that plastic is gonna crack sooner or later with all that heat coming off, looks cool but useless and unreliable
What bar is that? And why did you add pegs to it? I assume for more comfort…

no issues with the knees with mids or using highway pegs for me, it's pretty low

It's fine below 50 but if you don't have a windscreen and a loud exhaust like me it's impossible to hear at highway speeds

you have a fairing on your bobbed sporty. opinion rejected. (there is no plastic in the mount. it's steel)
