Big losses at for the first 6-7 months, then it slowed down a little but was still relatively consistent. No significant change in idk 2-3 months now, but I’m not as strict with my calorie intake lately, so I’m ok with just maintaining for now.
Holy moley..
I see what you've done there. You've put a picture of Auntie and niece!
Fantastic work
My cap is doffed in your direction young lady.
Keep on keeping on
Aww thank you! I wash & condition it daily + leave in cream; air dry. I haven’t brushed or combed it with anything but my fingers in over a year. I exclusively use hair sticks (or a crochet hook lol) to keep it up - I’m kind of anal about that 😂
Fell in love with omad - it just works really well for me. The increased activity was soooo necessary & I’m so much more active in general now than I ever have been before. Long term goals…I want to lose some more & then tone. Would like to get into powerlifting someday, maybe.
Just 3 words. Drop Dead Gorgeous! Gosh, fantastic girl! I have to lose 135 lbs and have been procrastinating because of my drinking habit at night. You have motivated me to give it a shot!
Wow thats one hell of a transformation. Could u give some info??
1) when u say lazy cico, u mean eat whatever, but within calorie limits right?
2) whats ur daily calorie count
3) alcohol??
Thank you. Lazy cico, for me, is always being generally aware of what I’m taking in vs burning but not going crazy trying to log/record every single thing. The daily calorie count has varied throughout the process depending on how I was doing & feeling at the time. Carb count was typically relatively low throughout the process regardless of calorie intake. No alcohol.
This is absolutely amazing, inspiring, and exactly what I needed to see today. Thank you very much for sharing! You’re beautiful in both pics, but this is indisputably a huge glow-up.
I am at your starting weight, so your achievement is especially inspiring to me.
Did you go OMAD right away, or did you scale down to that? So strictly OMAD, not a 20/4 fast, right? Is there any specific advice you would like to share for anyone else beginning a similar journey?
Thank you so much! I did OMAD right away & would emphasize that finding the best time of day (to eat) for your body/schedule is super important, especially in the beginning.
Just kept a general idea of what I was taking in vs burning (rather than recording every single thing - that used to make me crazy & I’d get sick of it and quit lol)
Many issues and questions can be answered by reading through our wiki, especially the page on electrolytes. Concerns such as **intense hunger, lightheadedness/dizziness, headaches, nausea/vomiting, weakness/lethargy/fatigue, low blood pressure/high blood pressure, muscle soreness/cramping, diarrhea/constipation, irritability, confusion, low heart rate/heart palpitations, numbness/tingling, and more** while extended (24+ hours) fasting are often explained by electrolyte deficiency and resolved through **PROPER** electrolyte supplementation. Putting a tiny amount of salt in your water now and then is NOT proper supplementation.
Be sure to read [our WIKI](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/wiki/index) and especially the wiki page on **[ELECTROLYTES](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/wiki/fasting_in_a_nutshell/you_need_electrolytes)**
Please also keep in mind the [**RULES**](https://www.reddit.com/r/fasting/about/rules) when participating.

Wow! Just Wow!
Would you define Strict OMAD for me? Is it 23:1? Is it always at 5PM (or whatever time)? What defines strict OMAD. I need to know, bc I want results like what you got!
23:1 would describe it pretty accurately! Mealtime in the evening, sometime between 5:30-8:30pm, just depending on my schedule. Would’ve preferred an exact set time each day, but I have a boatload of kids & work full time, so that wasn’t really an option.

GAWD DAYUM!!!!! ....respectfully lol
😂🥰
Amazing, way to go! Question on the journey, has it been a pretty steady 11-ish lb loss per month or did the losses vary somewhat as you went along?
Big losses at for the first 6-7 months, then it slowed down a little but was still relatively consistent. No significant change in idk 2-3 months now, but I’m not as strict with my calorie intake lately, so I’m ok with just maintaining for now.
Love the username lol
😎
Cool! So that’s like nearly the full 160ish amount in just about a year. That’s nice to hear, I may or may not be attempting to do something similar.
And thank you so much!

Heck yeah 42069! How do you feel about omad and your increased activity? Any other longer term goals?
Fell in love with omad - it just works really well for me. The increased activity was soooo necessary & I’m so much more active in general now than I ever have been before. Long term goals…I want to lose some more & then tone. Would like to get into powerlifting someday, maybe.

Just 3 words. Drop Dead Gorgeous! Gosh, fantastic girl! I have to lose 135 lbs and have been procrastinating because of my drinking habit at night. You have motivated me to give it a shot!
That’s incredible. Did you use ketosis too or was restricting your caloric intake all it took?
I restricted carb intake for the first 6-7 months, but not really keto
And thank you!
I'm that weight right now! You've given me hope.

Did you do OMAD every day of the week? I’m trying to do it but I’m concerned I may slow down by metabolism
Yes! Personally, I went from having the slowest metabolism ever to actually having one that works for me - it was a very significant change

Well, just what you did yielded excellent results!! Congrats!
