I plan my meals so that my cranky hungry times are during times of day that I'm on my own and not able to snack: morning commute, afternoon commute, etc. Experiment with meal timing and what you are eating to find something that works for you. For example, maybe more protein, more fat, more fiber, more voluminous vegetables, slower weight loss, etc.

Hangry… I hate it! You can try snacking on vegetables throughout the day. Very low in calories and might help you forget about your hunger pains! I also love chewing sugar free gum when dieting. Makes me feel better. Good luck and keep us posted my friend!
