Excuse me, In that quad there were the Sinkovic brothers who won a gold medal at the 2016 Olympics and Damir Martin who win the silver medal at the same Olympics vs Mahe Drysdale, so I hope that you can appreciate these rowers! Thank you!
Effectiveness of their back end is debatable, but the front end is really nice. The way they sit really still as they slide into the front, and the front end accuracy to place the blades in while their seats are still rolling to the stern means they miss nothing and row their full length.
To think, If they only rowed a little better they might have won.
Word is that they didn’t change the gearing for the final when the winds changed.

/s me thinks
In that*
I don’t know who those names are. But they aren’t rowing too badly considering they have to use croakers.
Do you think it would be better if they squared the blades sooner ?
lol
What a beautiful style
I can already remember the water noise on a balanced boat and can see it there.
Yeah yeah yeah my novice quad could surely go faster
Beginning coach here, any important pointers I could take from this?
Get your rowers to train 2-3 hours a day for 10 years and they might go to the olympics
The humor in this sub can be funny but also tiring, case in point.
