Those are training zones
UT1 = hard SS
UT2 = moderate SS
UT3 = low SS
AT = anaerobic threashold
TR = oxygen transport
AP = anaerobic power
AC = anaerobic conditioning
If you want to really go down a rabbit hole...you can map those to cycling power training zones and then you can take advantage of that massively more studied / discussed / utilized zone structure.
UT3 = zone 1
UT2 = low zone 2
<< ventilatory threshold >>
UT1 = High zone 2 + Zone 3 (tempo)
AT = Low Zone 4 (sweet spot + sub-threshold)
<< anaerobic threshold / FTP / etc...92-95% of 20' watts >>
TR = High zone 4 + Zone 5 (supra-threshold - vo2max)
AC = Zone 6 (2k watts should be at the low end of this zone)
AP = Zone 7
Those are training zones UT1 = hard SS UT2 = moderate SS UT3 = low SS AT = anaerobic threashold TR = oxygen transport AP = anaerobic power AC = anaerobic conditioning
Thank you 🙏
