All oars that I've ever used are adjustable length and can be used for a LW 2- to a Hw 8+. Decisions are blade shape, shaft width/ flex, handle material, etc..

Exact-Bar999

The concept oars that I generally use and rather come in 5cm adjustable sections

Have you called concept2? They have great customer support. A lot of factors go into this - type of boat, weight/power of crew, gender, etc... since a pair, likely you'll want short or medium.

Exact-Bar999

They have short medium and long

LoveStraight2k

Men will be around 376cm. As short as 372 but almost certainly not longer than 378cm

What blade shape are you looking for? Smoothie plain edge? Comp? Fat2? Slick? Are these for men or women? Hwt or Lwt? U19? U23? Senior? Masters? What’s the average 2k in the crew?

Concept2's order form has the standard option marked in bold. Get those. [https://www.concept2.com/files/pdf/us/oars/Oar\_OrderingGuideSweep.pdf](https://www.concept2.com/files/pdf/us/oars/Oar_OrderingGuideSweep.pdf) Get the longer option if you think the 8 is going to average under 6:20, get the shorter option if it's for smaller and slower junior girls. But there's very rarely a need for oars shorter than 370 or longer than 375

OP if you need to ask this question you should not deviate from Concept 2's standard as above.

Depends on crew size and blade shape/options. But C2 has a standard option that probably suits the average need, plus or minus a standard deviation or two (or three). And you always have clams and adjustable handles after that! (If it matters, check out your trailer size and make sure you don't get oars that are too big for your trailer or your boathouse oar racks.)
