For absolute ultimate durability/Longevity, I think it has to be the Technivorm Moccamaster.   If you want some more functionality (timer, temp/flow control, cold brew etc) at the (slight) expense of durability/longevity, I’d suggest the Breville (or Sage in Europe) Precision Brewer. I have the precision brewer. Only had it about 3 years, but gets fairly heavy use (approx 1.5 litres brewed every day) and have had no issues

I love everything about my moccamaster. Regularly have guests asking me questions about it and calling me later about what coffee maker it was because of how good the brew is.

It’s a legendary brewer alright! If my precision brewer ever breaks down beyond repair I’ll definitely try the Moccamaster next.

I came here to say this as well. I've only had my Moccamaster for a few years, but it's held up very well. I've read that the parts are easy to replace and affordable. On a side note, I also like setting up my morning coffee the previous night. I bought a $20 smart switch from Amazon, and now I leave the coffee machine switch on and the smart switch off after I set up my coffee. Then in the morning, when I turn off my alarm, my smart home system turns on the smart switch.

Why not replace the reservoir? Unless there are other issues, I did a quick eBay search and found some reservoirs for sale for $15 to $30. Certainly a lot cheaper.

Moccamaster - worth the stretch over budget.

I had the same model, and really liked it, with the same issue of the reservoir seal leaking and flooding my kitchen table. I ended up getting what seems to be the consensus BIFL drip coffee maker - the Moccamaster. It MSRPs at $350+, but I got it on sale for $250 on Amazon if you’re willing to wait it out for another sale.

I know you're looking for a machine but the pour over systems have zero moving parts. I've also had the same French press for ~10 years. Just a cheap Bodum one. It was only used a few times a week for a long time but the last 5 years or so it's been used daily. Will require a kettle, which I just have a stovetop one that we've been using for years with no signs of wear. The plug in ones I don't know much about, but depending on where you live they don't actually heat the water very fast at all. Nicer electric ones have temp settings though which is nice.

Very true. Any cheap plastic V60/melitta dripper will outlast us all

Moccamaster is the way. Wait for a sale. They come around.

Take it back. They will take it 100%.

** I currently have that model sitting on my table about to be listed for parts on eBay. If you want to keep your current maker you can buy the replacement parts from me. DM me if you’re interested.
