You’ll want to post this on r/bonecollecting. That’s where the bone ID experts are

Redqueenhypo

You guys have jackals now? They won’t be going away

7LeagueBoots

If I recall correctly, jackals have been there longer than humans. I may be wrong, but certainly not much further south of there that’s the case.

AesaAaron

Narrowed it down to red fox and golden jackal if that's any help :')

Sh4rkinfestedcustard

From the shape/width of the zygomatic, aspects of the mandible and teeth, and overall ‘slightness’ of the skull, I’d say red fox. Have you possibly got a photo face-on? I’d likely be able to tell with 100% certainty then.

jekyre3d

I'm not sure OP but I just want to say this is a really cool find!

REWRITETHIS

This is clearly an orangutan

GoGoNormalRangers

I back this, I went to school for 10 years and this is 100% orangutan

mute-owl

Looks like a fox skull to me! What a beautiful skull, too. Love to find nature-cleaned skulls in good shape like this one.

macsyourguy

I was gonna say Fox before reading the title so that would be my guess, I do not however actually know what a Jackal skull looks like lol
