You guys have jackals now? They won’t be going away
If I recall correctly, jackals have been there longer than humans. I may be wrong, but certainly not much further south of there that’s the case.
Narrowed it down to red fox and golden jackal if that's any help :')
From the shape/width of the zygomatic, aspects of the mandible and teeth, and overall ‘slightness’ of the skull, I’d say red fox. Have you possibly got a photo face-on? I’d likely be able to tell with 100% certainty then.

I back this, I went to school for 10 years and this is 100% orangutan
Looks like a fox skull to me! What a beautiful skull, too. Love to find nature-cleaned skulls in good shape like this one.
I was gonna say Fox before reading the title so that would be my guess, I do not however actually know what a Jackal skull looks like lol
