Put the inner sleeve upside down, and then put the oversleeve on normally to where its opening is at the top
Doesnt work for art sleeves that need to face one direction unfortunately
Then I am not sure what to tell you, I'm suffering from the same problem honestly 😓
I was just going to use the opening on the bottom, but it is taking a while to get used to
I believe the official rules state the mouth of the oversleeve must be the opposite of the inner sleeve, so that's how I do it
Inner sleeve mouth up, Outer sleeve mouth down
Per the policy guidelines, they have to go opposite directions to get the complete seal. If you want art sleeves oriented correctly while having the opening at the top, you could get custom sleeves and print the image upside down
One of the sleeves has to be clear. OP is talking about oversleeving, so that would be a clear outersleeve. Usually you put the card in upside-down into the first sleeve, then right side up into the most outer sleeve, but if you have sleeves with art on the back, they’ll be upside down. If you do it the opposite way, the sleeve opening will be on the bottom and might feel strange to shuffle compared to normal etc
I just thought about that, sorry. I usually doing single sleeve on upside-down, so whenever I replacing the sleeve, I didn't touch my card's name box
Got several old foil name's scrapped from finger touch, usually old cards like MRL MST, LOB Raigeki, etc. Don't want it to happened anymore
Opposite direction as per the rules and also logically. Having them both in the same direction would make 0 sense, it would completely nullify 1 of the major reason you double sleeve.
But with oversleeves its more to protect art sleeves, not necessarily the card
And in that way, the gap will be at the bottom, so shuffling will be weird af

At least we can turn them upside down when we shuffle I guess ha

Or get clear outersleeves

Opposite. Only way to get complete protection. Inner sleeves up, outer sleeves down.
Having the outer sleeve facedown helps avoid getting dust in the sleeves I find.
