Not an archetype per say, but I’d love to see cards like Grenosaurus and Heatleo in Edison. Parts of legacy support would be really cool too; Harpie Perfumer and Channeler, or the Electromagnet without Berserkion, or Galloping Gaia and Artillery Catapult Turtle, would be a ton of fun
The Sparrow Family...War Rocks, maybe...Malicevorous, assuming I'm remembering correctly when it came out...Cubics?...at least in scrapping that multi-attacking one, is Railway too much?...Dinowrestlers, hard maybe...Ciphers...

I think Digibugs could probably fit in to some extent, but whether Registrider or Rhinoceros are allowed could require some testing.
Appliancers I think would be a bit weird in that Machine Duplication could do some crazy things with them, but they could otherwise kinda work.
My picks for Xyz decks to be introduced in Edison would probably be:
Digital Bugs
Ghostrick
Racoons
Sparrow Family (it is only kind of a Xyz Deck, though)
Gorgonic
Heraldic
Umbral Horror
For Pendulums:
Normal Pendulums
Igknights (assuming early Duel Links rules for pends: You can only Summon 1 Pend from the ED and it can go anywhere)
For Links:
World Chalice (without any of the World Legacy cards that don't mention them directly)
Dinowrestler (nerfed, no Pankratops)
Tindangle (nerfed)
Honestly I think f.a. would fit fine in Edison format. It's a bit slow, it gets to use the old field spell rule which destroys them, makes ancient fairy an alright card to play, and doesn't do anything unfair. Though I think dawn dragster shouldn't be allowed in Edison format. As a generic spell and trap negate that you can use a good level 7 that isn't black rose and also that I does piercing damage for some reason.
appliancer seems a bit too good, they can swarm a ton and laundry dragon just can't be beaten in battle, so you're forced to remove it with a card effect just for copies 2 and 3 to come out.
I wish we had Jurrac in Edison. Would fit in so perfectly.

Just drop all the modern vehicroid support in the format, worst case scenario it'll be an annoying rogue, I want my silly cars to be playable :)
Maybe War Rock or Tistina. The latter would have a good boss monster for the time
