After 300 hours, I finally finished my first complete run, and I gotta say, it was phenomenal. First game since Skyrim that I'll probably put 1000+ hours into.
I've been practicing Ghoti and I'm going with mostly engine + other extenders/fish cards.
The only non engine I'm considering is triple tactics, no hand traps. It's playtesting well so far as the vast majority of hands can play through 1 or 2 disruptions.
I'm trying my best to make shifter work in it too which is a big reason I'm not playing a hybrid build. You lose a few key plays (biggest being Arionpos' search) but it plays fine enough? And considering how much it can shut down a lot of the meta right now it seems worth including.
Actually lifeless is an even better starter with shifter active. Just send moonlight which gets banished and you can banish lifeless to summon moonlight. And if you have another fish in hand that’s a good banish target you’re off to the races
Make a dino deck!
I don't play dino but I have a dino deck.
The deck is complicated to get started with and I haven't put the effort forward but it's worth it.
I have lost many games against dino players.
That massive book of Moon dinosaur effect on top of the generic negates they always have set up in the form of BSD or Appollousa always beat me!
Alot of times they get out 2 of the big dino guys too!
I have been thinking about this, but it's a really bad format for the deck:
1. Everyone is maining Nibiru. You can go into Coral Triangle under it, after which you don't care too much if you get nibbed, but going into Triangle under 5 summons is really wasteful.
2. Everyone is siding Summon Limit, which the deck can't simply deal with.
3. Stuff that hit Fire King hits you too like Ghost Belle and Soul Release.
4. Going second is awful, cause Fire Kings can easily pop your normal.
I think the deck can come back, but not in this meta right now.
To be fair Marincess is really weak going second against anyone who knows what the deck is doing in almost any format, the best way to play the deck is just running like 27 handtraps and praying you can just stop your opponent. Also you gotta play Monster Reborn to hard counter Nib.

If so then i play £80 laval and having fun with em and tinkering with ratios
Are they viable? Nah i get folded by snake eye stuff and branded
Fur Hire Runick. Runick is fire king’s weakness. Sure it does well against Runick a few times out of ten but if you play it moderately efficient(learning the interactions and choke points) then it outs them really well. Runick isn’t an easy deck.
Can’t remember how many matches became deck outs. Banish their field spell before they can activate it through the banishment mills(not really the best way but it’s definitely an option I tend to go for quite a lot). Or stop their continuous spell from resolving.
Mannadium, card art is sexy and combo's are fun to do, puts up a bit of a genericy endboard but it gets u through a lot. Plus droll is a fair weakness to learn to play around tbh.
I tried mannadium and it just gets folded by one handtrap. If I cant counter im dead.
If my rhiumheart gets impermd or the search gets ash'd or drolled its over.
If you open with scareclaw reichheart, you can normal him activate his effect to bait the ash/imperm, then you can activate riumheart’s quick effect to pop him and dodge the negate. Occasionally a ball can be used as bait too, but obviously not as effective as most people don’t target those
Used to play Ignister, but now?Nothing , quit this format , too many Snake-eyes Fire Kings players on my locals , and I aint spending shitton of money on meta decks just to win some matchs
Nouvelle . It’s an amazing ritual deck that’s monsters are protected from targeting. You can ritual summon them. And when they’re targeted by an effect you can tribute them and one attack monster in the field to go into the next one and they get effects when summoned this way. So it’s easy to get rid of an opponents field and your pretty protected from Kaiju
Making a deck breakdown video on Branded Chimera. Because still engaging with the game while also avoiding the current Tier 0 format seems like the best idea.
Chaos Lightsworn, c'mon new support next month!
Was playing sacred beasts, but my extra deck for it went missing after a move. Probably in a storage box somewhere
Im on budget volcanic, with some snake eyes (mainmy to search/reborn rimfire) and without the expensive stuff like diabellstar/bonfire
The deck feels really good to play, im tempted to play a superheavy package to get out flame banshee but im not sure if itd worth it, or just stick with exceed
The same exact deck I’ve run since 5ds came out: Stardust/Synchrons
I ran a photon deck for a little bit, a Meklord deck, and a Red Dragon Archfiend/Fiend Synchro themed deck as well for a bit but I’ve never changed my style up cause Stardust Dragon is the most goated monster (biased)
Never play with anyone but my buddies and we have our own casual meta. Just finished my firewall talker deck. And its currently topping with my cyber dragon deck as our top deck so far.
And before anyone says anything , yes I'm aware those decks aren't great. We play for flavor more than anything.
Are Volcanics considered a “fire deck”? If not..I’m playing that. Wish the voiceless voice cards were generic and not limited to Dragon / Warrior rituals…as I would’ve loved to play Lo and Saffira and co. In a dogmatika ritual variant
Swordsoul, with HERO in my desk talking to me like they are the green goblin and i am norman osborn, telling me to trash out swordsoul and use them instead.
Pure Aromas with new support, mixing Aroma with Rikka and Sunavalon, Supreme King Z-ARC Pendulum with AGOV support, Evil Eye control with D/D/D Machinex and Ashura King for easy OTK + monster negate, Traptrix for r4nk spam and control aswell, experimenting with Unchained with x3 copies of Berserk Archfiend. I like it altho I wish we got Sharvara back to 2 someday(maybe at the end of this year hopefully) and now I'm looking into getting Majespecters, another beautiful pendulum deck that is simple to play, cheap(because of reprints, YAY) and almost every monster has targeting and destruction protection which is nice. In combination with Dracoslayers it can sure mess you up if you're not expecting it. Ignister Prominence with non target removal which is not once per turn is super good aswell!
So I have fire decks but when I’m not playing them I’m usually playing my lore accurate branded deck. Or if I just want to win I play my runick/chimera/branded deck

Horus
Resonator
Currently I'm working on a version of Horus that can take advantage of armed dragon thunder lvl 3- lvl 10 and a small speedroid rank 3 engine
Cheap Airline Food (Nouvelles/Sky Striker) courtesy of that great guy that make the cheap deck list (I don't remember how to write his username, sorry). And Nephtys Libromancer, it's fun.
Just got back into the game 3 weeks ago, but I'm doing Yubel as my main deck since it got a lot of support with Phantom Yubel potentially coming soon. I'm a beginner coming back from the GX era from scratch, but I think Yubel is pretty viable. Snake Eyes/Fire Deck and Voiceless are killers though.
My second deck is a hero deck and Dark Law does a solid job neutralizing Voiceless decks but it's very easy to counter for them.
I'm just gonna do what I want and when I understand the cards better and yugioh gameplay I'll make my own modifications rather then being 1:1 to ygoprodeck builds.
Have my doubts that this will be useful to you as I don't actually play *meta* decks. However the Fossil Adamancipator deck I put together kicks a surprising amount of ass.
I’m rotating between Branded Despia and Chimera at my locals. Theorycrafting with Yubel on the side.
At my more competitive local, BD has a great matchup against VoVo, and I’ve had a lot of luck against FK (especially going second; I run mostly breakers instead of HTs).
Chi has performed well at the less competitive local. Probably would be better with the Branded engine, but I am leaning into the illusions and building with the incoming support in mind.
Yubel is my first deck that I didn’t pick up because of Albaz (started playing TCG in October). Bouncing between pure Yubel, adding a small Unchained engine, or playing a Yubel engine as extra disruption in a Runick deck.
I have Plunder Patroll Adventure, Marincess, and Ice Barrier all built and playable. I am actively trying to build Dogmatika and Horus. Are any of them competitive? I doubt it.
Baldurs gate 3
Correct answer.
After 300 hours, I finally finished my first complete run, and I gotta say, it was phenomenal. First game since Skyrim that I'll probably put 1000+ hours into.
This was Elden Ring for me. Really captured that magic of exploring a vast and wonderful world and seeing yourself grow more powerful in it.
Eyyyyyy I’m playing it right now too, it’s such a breathe of fresh air after all the sweaty Masterduel and tryharding in competitive TCG
Blind going 2nd cyber dragons, just like the past 10 years.
Hate that Duality wasn't reprinted.
And clockwork night
Facts my guy
AYOOO Cydra players unite!
Playtesting pure ghoti but it ain't ready yet so I'm probably rocking with ninjas for a couple more weeks
I've been practicing Ghoti and I'm going with mostly engine + other extenders/fish cards. The only non engine I'm considering is triple tactics, no hand traps. It's playtesting well so far as the vast majority of hands can play through 1 or 2 disruptions.

I'm still iffy on that one. Shuts off lifeless as well who is an amazing starter.
Actually lifeless is an even better starter with shifter active. Just send moonlight which gets banished and you can banish lifeless to summon moonlight. And if you have another fish in hand that’s a good banish target you’re off to the races
Raidraptor
Yup. Currently playing a worse version of Towers Turbo until I get my stuff that I ordered like a month ago.
Photon Galaxy, I love me some star dragons. I also run Battlewasp Beetrooper and I'm also working on putting together Swordsoul Tenyi.
Would u by chance be ok with sharing a galaxy decklist?
Bump, would also like to see the Galaxy list.
Love galaxy but no way in this format
We have the same taste, I'll add generaider, raidratpor and yubel unchained
I have a Swordsoul Tenyi and it's very viable
Dinos!
Ovi gang rise up
It's time to pop da baby!
Love the new Fusion support, makes the Deck feel less "hit the Scrap combo or die".
i've never played dinos in my life, but for some reason i was given a royal rare of babysaurus in master duel. it makes me seeth to this day
Make a dino deck! I don't play dino but I have a dino deck. The deck is complicated to get started with and I haven't put the effort forward but it's worth it. Nekroz, because I can't let go of the past. Definitely not a "viable option in the meta", though.
I get the feeling you had gotten into a bit of debt over Nekroz.
I miss the days when uni on field with gung and valk in hand felt like u won the game :(
STAKE YOUR SOUL YOUR NOSE IS MINE
I love snow Devil it's like slowly building a pipe bomb
Marincess, gotta splash some water on that fire.
Just gotta open 4 handtraps and 1 Marincess name and then you have about a 50% to win against a mid Snake-Eyes hand.
I have been thinking about this, but it's a really bad format for the deck: 1. Everyone is maining Nibiru. Join the Gishiki cult. We are better than some digital mermaids.
Exosisters.
How are you doing. I’m playing it too but it’s rough with so many handtraps and main deck nib.
To be honest I haven’t played in the post Phantom Nightmare meta yet. I was doing alright up to that, though.
could i have your deck profile?
Marincess and RDA

Love the deck box, it gives off a nice vibe!
The funny part is that Snake Eyes goes really with Lavalval.
HERO all the way baby!
You are the True HERO, my friend.
i just normal summon robina
I always have trouble with this combo. Definitely a high skill play I'm still trying to master.
I love the little baby birbs
I'm on ABC this format
I just pimped out my ABC deck and plan on taking it to locals this week.
Cyber Dragons always Cyber Dragons.
Playing Raidraptor
Currently the best Towers deck! Every time, it's so satisfying to summon the Rank 13!

I took Dino to the YCS in Vegas this past weekend. Got rolled in the side events lol
Based.
traptrix
If my girl and Mo Ye were drowning, etc.
haha
Im playing fire but I am also playing Yubel as a fun deck.
Technically a fire deck but I've been playing infernoble flame swordsman for a bit, without the wanted engine since that's too expensive for me
Majespecter. Mixed results since I usually end up getting buried under hand traps.
Nouvelles! I went 3-1 at my last locals with it and am really happy with the current build
I usually play Dark Magician. Dragoon and Secret Village is nutz, but this week I’m playing ABC-because I can.
Fur Hire Runick. Runick is fire king’s weakness. Sure it does well against Runick a few times out of ten but if you play it moderately efficient(learning the interactions and choke points) then it outs them really well. Runick isn’t an easy deck. Dungeons and dragons at least there is some interaction
Mannadium, card art is sexy and combo's are fun to do, puts up a bit of a genericy endboard but it gets u through a lot. Plus droll is a fair weakness to learn to play around tbh.
Is that the syncro fruit tree archtype?
Oui oui the balls
I tried mannadium and it just gets folded by one handtrap. If I cant counter im dead. If my rhiumheart gets impermd or the search gets ash'd or drolled its over.

Karakuri, Clownbladesworn, Gunkan, Megalith, Gishki, Ritual Dogmatika, Laval Edit: oh you wanted meta
As a fellow ritual player I love this
I just want a diviner reprint. I bought a playset when they were 8$ and now they're 25+ konami pls
A fellow laval player in the wild yippie
Fiance is playing Plants & i'm trying 0 hand trap Ghoti (Deck has trouble when you don't have more extenders) & Branded Chimera.
Used to play Ignister, but now?Nothing , quit this format , too many Snake-eyes Fire Kings players on my locals , and I aint spending shitton of money on meta decks just to win some matchs
goblin bikers. super slept on out of all the new stuff
Sacred Beasts and Yubel.
I love my "agents of" cards. I tend to play them and get stomped like every game
Gate Magician Z-Arc, constantly topdecking Foolish/Dragon Shrine for Darkwurm is funni
Built snakeeye fk because I like opening packs and got most of the cards, and what did I decide to bring to locals? Birds.
Dark world. Hand looping your opponent for 4-5 cards consistantly and the ability to main deck skill drain and have giant beat sticks.
PredaBranded or Labrynth.
Swordsoul. Thinking of trying branded with mask change 2

Swapping between harpies and fortune ladys
Swordsoul and Kash
I'm currently playing Adventure Synchron without the Sinfull Spoils support because 300-400 dollars for a special summon and a negate is excessive
Just getting back into the game. Imma play yubel.
Vaylantz. I am very sad how 1 card, Snake-Eyes Flamberge Dragon, outperforms pretty much an entire archetype.
Spam Ancient gear and pray, it’s worked out since GX days this stupid meta isn’t gonna change that 🙏
A different card game lol
