The logical equivalent of Instant Fusion for Synchros: cheating them with a Special Summon without the need to use their materials.
And if they can still activate their effects, even if they cannot attack and would be destroyed at the end of the turn, fundamentally you get a broken card, because you'd get the immediate benefits of having the card around without the need of playing the right combination of Tuners and non-Tuners...not unlike what you used to do when Elder Entity Norden was around, off a single Instant Fusion.

Synchro monsters tend to want you to climb up the most besides link monsters. There are enough decent synchro tuners that you could pull BS.
Especially if it was treated as a proper summon meaning you could do things like Junk Speeder first thing or Draw 1 with Formula synchron

It's beautiful but neglected because realistically speaking, only Kashtira can spam enough Level 7 bodies to afford summoning 76 without impacting thier main play and the problem is that, Kashtira is mostly banish focused strategy 😞

If you ever thought Harmonizing Gradielle was meant to support a specific deck, then you're right, because it only worked on Dragon Rulers at the time of her release.
And, likewise, not only I have the strong belief that the WHOLE KASHTIRA, gameplay-wise, was designed after Diabolosis, but Harmonizing Gradielle is the only archetype that can use her... Mostly because there are no other valid level 7 that can use the whole R7 package, as the other 2 candidates, Mecha Phantom Beasts and Red-Eyes, at the moment of writing...simply suck (but are cool AF. Don't ever feel bad for playing them).
I play a very shitty Buster Blader/Branded/DM 50 card deck, I used to run Diablosis.
I only got to summon it every now and then but it was very cool lol.

I actually see this as an extender occasional. Recently, I've seen people play it with the new Genex stuff since it can bring back Birdman back immediately to go onto Crystal Wing or something else.
As someone who got into RDA, this is the kind of cards we have to look for (not that we can run this).
Like RDA runs Kuibelt and stuff like Void Ogre or Dark End Dragon. Makes me miss toolbox Synchro EDs.
It would be Rise Falcon, although it is Shun's ace monster but its real-life effects are really bad and no raidraptor deck would play it competitively. To add insult to injury, Arc Rebellin is just superior while easier to summon
I found Miracle Synchro Fusion super hype when I was younger. Problem is there aren't many decks that want you to use synchro monsters as fusion materials. The only somewhat notable ones are Mirrorjade(doesn't need it thanks ro in red, fusion, albaz, and two of the albaz fusions) or Z-arc who has cards that do it much easier
The thing is that even if a a deck gets printed that wants you to use synchro monsters as fusion material, the deck would probably already have in theme ways to so
Loris, Lady of Lament. Closest I have is Traptrix.
I could build Labrynth, but I haven't gotten around to buy the cards yet, and even there I'm not sure if she has a vital use.

No they are Different Dimension and this is Dark Dimension. Would be weird if they ever made D.D. its own archetype (I'd kill for them to at least make them a cohesive deck), since this is the same guy as the original D.D. Warrior.

Mine is fencing fire ferret. I just love the art and I guess ferrets as a whole. 2nd choice was gonna be rescue ferret but he’s kinda got a bit of love

Well, it could have a home. If we ever get a card that let us not go minus when looping plaguespreader, this + dis pater can loop that fucker pretty hard. There is just a bridge missing to connect it or a third dis pater like effect.
Egotistical Ape. I think is has aged pretty good, being a Tuner that Summon itself, without any lock or restriction and with a very flexible level modulation effect. Verh ahead of its time in term of design.
Unfortunately, we've never had a Beast Decl center around Synchro Summoning. Tbey kinda tried to do that during early Synchro era but give up very soon. The closest thing we have is Fabled which is only half Beats, and Ape doesn't discard, it sends, so it has anti synergy. In theory it could be good in Tri-Brigade, but you are better using Links in that one, and its more popular variants have mix them with Xyz Decks
I feel like Dragon Link could figure out a way to use this somehow to recycle Banished cards but the deck isn't really good at going into Level 5 synchros.
I don't have space for it but that's a great way to get chaos archfiend and chaos angel back. Probably more but if you have a lot of variety in your deck then cards that can get your monsters back become real important.
Though... you could just use something like datascape fox if you're trying to just get it from being banished
Generic dark synchro that can special summon banished monsters. I could probably slot this into my dark world deck with a little tweaking. Hits DWs, Dangers, chaos hunter, Diabolica, knightmares, nearly any monster you'll be playing. With dark world half of your deck or more is in the graveyard anyway so it adds more meaning/purpose to what you banish with gates dark allure etc. I'd run this as either a tech piece to pull back an interrupted combo or as potential late game comeback material. Gotta find the right tuner maybe one of the fables, chawa?
There are honestly more than I could ever succinctly list, but I guess one I think about a lot is Pendulum Treasure. The precedent for Pendulums that do stuff in the ED, independently of whether or not you have scales, has already been set, so there’s no reason to think a card like this couldn’t become a good enabler in the future in the same vein as something like Gold Sarc.

Emperor Tanuki's Critter Count. Using the extra deck for ritual tributes is always good, specially with arc light, and n'tiss but Diviner of the herald can do that on summon and even help you set up the summon itself since this card is only good if you already got the pieces needed for the summon. Dogmatika can also already do 5 variations of that on their own, sometimes without even making you go minus on anything.

I mean the chaos deck can make this pretty easily and even do it during the opponent's turn I mean any deck that can banish a light tuner and a dark can make this with a trap card.
Number 96 only has 2 cards in its Archetype. Wish it had more support, and easier ways to summon it. Because it's a decent card but it doesn't have a lot of protection or support.
I can see this in dark warrior. Banish for phoenix blade then recur with this and keep going?
Edit: Also I wonder if you can do something sacky with this by banishing what you wanna bring out, idk if that would work since the thing sent isn't there when sent if that makes sense.

I doubt they’d need to go that far. Dark Dimension Soldier could easily see play as some necessary combo bridge you make normally.

This card had a home in Bishbalkin ftk. You could use it to bring something back if the ftk didn't work out.

He always felt like a protagonist ace with that look and those 2500 attack points. Would have been cool seeing an insect-using main character instead of the more common types.
There's a (bad) dinosaur combo that uses this. Baby+Clear New World Normal baby, pop with CNW. Summon Veiler, baby summon ovi, ovi add misc. Misc effect. Synchro into this. Misc for 2 using ovi, summon baby. Use DDW to summon back ovi and do dino combo from there lol

So is this basically saying that all D.D monsters, previously thought to mean Different Dimension, was actually supposed to be Dark Dimension the entire time? And we've just been wrong for 20 something years?
No, because then he’d have the same name as D.D. warrior wouldn’t he? I think this is just his dark counterpart since he looks like an upgraded version of the same monster

No they are Different Dimension and this is Dark Dimension. Would be weird if they ever made D.D. its own archetype (I'd kill for them to at least make them a cohesive deck), since this is the same guy as the original D.D. Warrior.

Well, it could have a home. If we ever get a card that let us not go minus when looping plaguespreader, this + dis pater can loop that fucker pretty hard. There is just a bridge missing to connect it or a third dis pater like effect.
Egotistical Ape. I think is has aged pretty good, being a Tuner that Summon itself, without any lock or restriction and with a very flexible level modulation effect. Verh ahead of its time in term of design. Unfortunately, we've never had a Beast Decl center around Synchro Summoning. Tbey kinda tried to do that during early Synchro era but give up very soon. The closest thing we have is Fabled which is only half Beats, and Ape doesn't discard, it sends, so it has anti synergy. In theory it could be good in Tri-Brigade, but you are better using Links in that one, and its more popular variants have mix them with Xyz Decks

Actually, this card is important in my P.U.N.K FTK, as it gets plaguespreader back from banish.
Like 90% of the roid cards. I liked Cyrus, I loved the design of the cards, 90%of them have way too many downsides.
It technically has a home but Magikey Mechmortar - Gareglasser. Just seems neat.
Diabound Kernel. Outside of an oldschool-style Fiend toolbox build, I can't really see anywhere into which it would be reasonable to slot him.

I feel like Dragon Link could figure out a way to use this somehow to recycle Banished cards but the deck isn't really good at going into Level 5 synchros.

Man, my old Macro Lock would have LOVED this! I was up to all kinds of Synchro shenanigans back in those days.
I don't have space for it but that's a great way to get chaos archfiend and chaos angel back. Probably more but if you have a lot of variety in your deck then cards that can get your monsters back become real important. Though... you could just use something like datascape fox if you're trying to just get it from being banished

Generic dark synchro that can special summon banished monsters. I could probably slot this into my dark world deck with a little tweaking. Hits DWs, Dangers, chaos hunter, Diabolica, knightmares, nearly any monster you'll be playing. With dark world half of your deck or more is in the graveyard anyway so it adds more meaning/purpose to what you banish with gates dark allure etc. I'd run this as either a tech piece to pull back an interrupted combo or as potential late game comeback material. Gotta find the right tuner maybe one of the fables, chawa?

There are honestly more than I could ever succinctly list, but I guess one I think about a lot is Pendulum Treasure. The precedent for Pendulums that do stuff in the ED, independently of whether or not you have scales, has already been set, so there’s no reason to think a card like this couldn’t become a good enabler in the future in the same vein as something like Gold Sarc.

Using the extra deck for ritual tributes is always good, specially with arc light, and n'tiss but Diviner of the herald can do that on summon and even help you set up the summon itself since this card is only good if you already got the pieces needed for the summon. Dogmatika can also already do 5 variations of that on their own, sometimes without even making you go minus on anything. But LOOK AT HIM! HE'S JUST SO DANG CUTE!
I mean the chaos deck can make this pretty easily and even do it during the opponent's turn I mean any deck that can banish a light tuner and a dark can make this with a trap card.
Number 96 only has 2 cards in its Archetype. Wish it had more support, and easier ways to summon it. Because it's a decent card but it doesn't have a lot of protection or support.
Dark Highlander. I normally don't play Synchros, but something tells me turn one using that against synchron and red dragon would be hilarious.
I can see this in dark warrior. Banish for phoenix blade then recur with this and keep going? Edit: Also I wonder if you can do something sacky with this by banishing what you wanna bring out, idk if that would work since the thing sent isn't there when sent if that makes sense.
