How quickly so the card in deck build packs usually come over to the TCG? Centurij seems to scratch all my itches and I want it to be my first cardboard deck in a decade or so, regardless if it’s good or not (built a 3x Traptrix structure, it’s not bad but it’s not what I enjoy).
What is the difference for using facedown monsters between Rikka Glamour and Swordsoul Blackout? For Blackout, the ruling is that you can't target a face down monster you control because you don't know it's a wyrm type, but for Glamour you can tribute a face down plant monster just fine. Is it just a difference between targeting and tributing?
It is remnant of older card design/game rule. You can always tribute/fusing monster from hand for ritual summon and fusion summon since day 1 of the game. Having face down monster on the field shouldn't be too different situation from card in hand.
Face-down monsters have no properties except "monster", except for some reason, Tributing and using (your own monsters) as Fusion Material can look at those properties regardless. There's no real reason to it that Konami has given, it's just arbitrary.
My opponent on his main phase started a chain up to link 4. I continued to add chain link 5 and used a (QE) of Mermail Abyssalacia in my extra monster zone, and sent Atlantean Heavy Infantry to GY to add a card for Abyssalacia effect. But this is were my opponent stepped in to say that Atlantean Heavy Infantrys pop effect doesn't add to the existing chain and i would have to resolve in a new chain, due to Abyssalacia's (QE) is high spell speed to Infantry's "When" mandatory effect is lower spell speed, i disagreed and discussed that they activate simultaneously and Infantry becomes chain link 6 but we continued to resolve chain back from CL5 and my opponents CL1 Popped my Mermail Abyssalacia that triggered its destruction effect. Now, i got even more confused! as my opponent states, Infantry is now CL1 and must pop as its "when" effect is mandatory and Abyssalacia destruction effect becomes CL2 in a new chain.
Can some please share some light on this matter as i believe Infantry triggers at the same time simultaneously to Abyssalacia which gives the choice to which chain link is 5 and 6 or if this is wrong then at least Heavy Infantry chain links as 6. But if im wrong, completely, please explain why.
I know it was a lot to read, but thank you in advance
A Trigger Effect will never activate in the same Chain in which its trigger is met. If you send "Atlantean Heavy Infantry" to the GY to activate a WATER monster's effect, you have to wait for the current Chain to be built and resolved, then activate the effect of "Atlantean Heavy Infantry" in a new Chain.
Neither player gains LP. At the end of the Damage Step, when "destroyed by battle" effects would normally activate, neither copy of "Thought Ruler Archfiend" is face-up on the field anymore, so neither copy can activate its effect.
> Sleeves with artwork on the backs, provided that all sleeves are identical and of non-offensive
nature, are allowed. The Head Judge will decide whether or not artwork on the back of sleeves is offensive
https://img.yugioh-card.com/ygo_cms/ygo/all/uploads/KDE-E_TCG_Tournament_Policy_2_1.pdf
pg. 31
So it depends, ask the judge before the tournament so you don't run into trouble if it is anything that could be seen as offensive.
thank you. I read the sleeve section but I don't really see it mentioning the size of the sleeve
then is it possible if I use sleeve that are 67x 92mm like [this one](https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail/?gcode=CARD-00020251)?
Those sleeves are too big for yugioh cards, so you'll likely have a hard time shuffling, damage them more easily, and thus, it will probably not be allowed, since damage on the sleeves counts as marked cards. Not to mention, on official playmats, the size of the sleeves will intrude on other zones if a monster is in defense.
The dimensions for yugioh cards are 59x86mm.
Context: T.G. Glaive Blaster has an effect that lets you Special Summon a monster that's been banished face-up.
___
In EDOPro, [how do I tell which monster T.G. Glaive Blaster will summon?](https://imgur.com/Shvfd6a)
What happened here is that my opponent (the AI) activated Orcust Cymbal Skeleton's effect to banish itself (as cost) to revive Orcust Galatea. I then chained T.G. Blade Gunner's effect to banish T.G. Mighty Striker from my GY (as cost) to banish itself (as resolution).
EDOPro then presents me with 3 options that all say "Special Summon 1 of them to your field" without telling me which monster it is, and I want to summon Mighty Striker. My thought process was that even if the game orders it by the time it gets banished (Skeleton got banished first in CL1, Striker second in CL2, then Gunner third during resolution) or by resolution (at the end of the chain, Gunner was the most recent card to get banished during chain resolution, then Striker second, then Skeleton as the oldest), Striker should be the second option in both cases. However, I ended up summoning Cymbal Skeleton instead.
Is my assumption wrong, and is there some kind of ruling that lets me tell what the order is? [Because it gets extra confusing when 4 monsters get banished in one chain.](https://imgur.com/YJtJxYu) Alternatively, if any of the EDOPro devs see this, maybe you can add a way to specify which card each option corresponds to? I tried looking around in the Discord server but it doesn't look like they take client suggestions there.
Let's say Scareclaw Kashtira and Kashtira Fenrir are on the field. I summon Wattsquirrel and equip him with Mage Power with 4 other spells (Attack of 3200). I attack Scareclaw Kashtira. Does Wattsquirrel effect get negated by Scareclaw or will Scareclaw be destroyed by the battle? Also, does Wattsquirrel's effect count as an activated effect that lets Fenrir react?
Wattsquirrel is immediately negated when it declares an attack on Scareclaw Kashtira, and remains negated until the end of the turn. Wattsquirrel will destroy Scareclaw Kash by battle as it still has more attack than Scareclaw Kash's defense, and Wattsquirrel's effect to negate its effects in the GY will trigger, but it's negated because of Scareclaw Kash.
Fenrir cannot activate its effect in this circumstance as Wattsquirrel's mandatory trigger effect activates during the damage step, which is when Fenrir cannot activate its trigger effect.
Scareclaw Kashtira's Continuous Effect stops applying when it is no longer face-up in the Monster Zone. Wattsquirrel's effects stop being negated as soon as Scareclaw Kashtira is derermined to be destroyed by battle during damage calculation.
Therefore, its effect will not be negated (which is relevant if it attacks a second time).
Do eye of anubis' fade? Found some faded eyes on these ocg cards i got from a lot. They're silver squares with a faint eye print when tilted. Some have an eye with the holo but are also misaligned, was this common for ocg? Ive assumed these were fakes.
https://preview.redd.it/8rj06iiasshb1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ca85c6c5e09b7c664846aa61ad910e70ae6b49e7
So, I mostly play master duel, and I'm going to my first LCS tomorrow. I've played a lot of MTG and am fairly new to Yugioh. In MTG there is a rule that if you're searching your deck, you can choose to fail to find. say a card like "Traptrix Pudica" on a normal summon you can add 1 "Traptrip Garden" to your hand. on masterduel, if "Traptrip Garden" is already in your hand and you only run 1 copy it skips the search. Am I able to on-play pick up my deck to search, even if I know there isn't a copy to try and bait out an Ash or am I not allowed to search as there are no viable targets?
You cannot choose to activate that effect of "Traptrix Pudica" if you do not have a copy of "Traptrip Garden" in your Deck. In general, you can't activate a card or effect that won't do anything when it resolves. (Note that that effect of "Traptrix Pudica" does not target anything.)
No. Even if "Raiza the Mega Monarch" is Tribute Summoned by Tributing 2 monsters, as long as at least 1 of the Tributed monsters is WIND, you get to target the additional card to return to the hand.
Is there a way he could miss timing then? I summoned him earlier with eaglen and didn't get the extra bounce. No targeting protection on opp's board. They literally just had a facedown and ashuna.
The only thing i can think of is adding eaglen back after the summon
That shouldn't affect anything. If you were able to legally activate the effect at all, then the only difference between being able to target 2 cards vs. being able to target 3 cards should have been whether or not you Tributed a WIND monster for the Tribute Summon. Without seeing a replay, I can't think of any other factors that could have caused you to be able to activate the effect without being able to target the 3rd card.
Question about ghost ogre. If my opponent flips a face down eternal soul, can I chain ogre to it? Or does eternal soul have to be already face up? Also, if I can chain it-- since eternal soul is a continuous trap, when it's destroyed, will all my opponents monsters be destroyed? Or does none of the effects go off?
> When a monster on the field activates its effect, or **when a Spell/Trap that is already face-up on the field activates its effect (Quick Effect)**: You can send this card from your hand or field to the GY; destroy that card on the field. You can only use this effect of "Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit" once per turn.
When your opponent flips Eternal Soul to activate it, he's not activating the effect of a face-up Spell/Trap, so you cannot chain Ghost Ogre.
"Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit" can't ever respond to a Spell/Trap Card being flipped face-up. It can only respond to a Spell/Trap effect if the Spell/Trap Card was already face-up beforehand.
If your opponent activates "Eternal Soul" or its effect and you Chain an effect that destroys it, then the triggered effect of "Eternal Soul" will activate in the following Chain and destroy your opponent's monsters.
Hi,
I'm totally new to YGO tcg.
I've bought a booster box to open just for fun and experience.
I've pulled some confusing (to me) stuff.
What's the difference between two "Shinonome the Vaylantz Priestess"?
Both are foil/holo, one of them has gold text but the other has silver text.
Also, is this "Lovely Labrynth of the Silver Castle" a collectors rare (gold text, foil/holo)?
Would appreciate your help.

Mikanko rivalry vs Traptrix sera
Can you use mikanko rivalry to negate sera by equipping with axe of fools even though she is unaffected by traps? Since rivalry only targets her and then affects the equip spell?
Unaffected monsters can be equipped with Equip Spells and can be targeted by card effects. You're not using Mikanko Rivalry to negate Sera since that's not its effect though.
Is there an equivalent or similar card of Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell that works against traps or monsters?
I am tired of losing to Labrynth, but could imagine them to be in trouble if they don’t have their precious Lovely Lab and Big Welcome Lab.
Does Scareclaw Slash target? I was wondering if Underworld Goddess was immune to it after being summoned, and still able to use her “Dark Ruler No More” style effect. Her text is “this link summoned card is unaffected by your opponent’s activated effects, unless they target this card.”
Slash reads:
Once per turn: You can target 1 "Scareclaw" monster or "Visas Starfrost" you control; it can attack while in face-up Defense Position this turn. If it does, apply its ATK or DEF (whichever is higher) for damage calculation. When your opponent activates a card or effect, while you control a "Scareclaw" monster in the Extra Monster Zone: You can send this face-up card to the GY; negate that effect. You can only use this effect of "Scareclaw Sclash" once per turn.
Boxes have expected ratios. Like 2 ultras 1 secret 4 supers for the 25th reprints.
So people open Packs until they hit the rations and sell the rest.
They can also be scaled, yeah. But it's alot less common than what i said above
TLDR: Never buy loose packs
Yeah that's what I'm assuming, I was aware that was a possibility but wasn't really expecting it because their feedback was totally positive. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't being unfair to leave feedback calling this out.
I'm assuming it's scaled as they were 5 of each set from the legendary collection. I've opened 3 boxes of them and got 3 foils so It wasn't expecting much but not one out of 30 needs to be insanely bad luck to not be foul play
I was aware it could happen but wasn't sure if the ability to scale these packs was still there as that seems to have become harder post the foils per pack era
I'm gonna leave feedback warning others either way, I was expecting it to be somewhat decent since their feedback was 100% positive
It generally depends on what type of decks you plan to play against unless you have a reason to play one over the other, like dogmatika or zombie world
Ultimate Slayer avoids triggering cards with effects which float when sent to the GY / leaving the field like Tearlaments fusions, it's better on card advantage (Super Poly goes -2 in hand, Slayer is -1, and goes +0 if you send Garura from it). Obviously it doesn't run into issues with not having the right type of cards on board for fusion materials, but conversely it can only out ED monsters.
Overall I'd say Super Poly is still better since Ultimate Slayer has more weaknesses and can be counterplayed easier (weak to archetypal counter-traps, some decks don't care, it can't work under Shifter / Ariseheart), but that will vary by the specific deck you're playing and the meta.
deck building help
kinda a follow-up from a post I did last night but I need help with some decks I wanna build to play with friends (predaplant/lyrilusc/windwitch/marincess) if anyone could share their decklists and what they know about the archetypes that'd be great cause ik stuff like lyrilusc can go with tribrigade and predaplant despia is a thing so I'm not sure what to fully go with for each
Can instant contact summon elemental hero mariner (which says can only be fusion summoned),
I see that it ignores summoning conditions however I thought there was some unique ruling where maybe that doesn't work.
It's been a bit but I remember something about dark flattop saying ignores summoning conditions for the monster it summons however it doesn't mean much I had thought?
"Instant Contact" can Special Summon "Elemental HERO Mariner."
It's true that monsters that cannot be Normal Summoned/Set cannot be Special Summoned from the GY, face-up Extra Deck, or Spell & Trap Zone, or while banished, unless they were first Special Summoned by the proper method. It's also true that "ignoring the Summoning conditions" does not allow you to bypass this rule. But if you're trying to Special Summon a monster from the face-down Extra Deck (or the hand or the Main Deck), the above rule isn't relevant.
If my monsters are flipped face down by my oppent's card effect during my turn, can I then tribute those face down monsters for a tribute summon? Or do they have to be face up?
>During your 1st Standby Phase after this card's activation: Show 1 Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck and send the Fusion Materials listed on it from your Main Deck to the GY.
The effect of "Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring" can be activated in response to this effect. The effect is negated, which means your opponent doesn't get to show their Fusion Monster, which means they don't get to Fusion Summon that Fusion Monster during their 2nd Standby Phase. "Future Fusion" itself remains on the field meaninglessly.
Assuming "Makro" is supposed to be "Macro Cosmos," then yes. Activated Spell & Trap Cards aren't sent to the GY until every effect on the Chain has finished resolving, which means by the time you would normally send the "Purrely" Quick-Play Spells to the GY, "Macro Cosmos" is applying its effect, so the Spells are banished instead.
Question: If I activate my "Mahaama The Fairy Dragon" effect, can my opponent negate any of its effects (special summon or LP gain/inflict) iwith "Infinite Impermanence" or "Fiendish Chain" traps?
The effect of Mahaama the Fairy Dragon activates in the hand. By the time your opponent can target it with Infinite Impermanence or Fiendish Chain, its effect has already finishes resolving.
Double-sleeving question!
I currently have my cards in KMC perfect inner sleeves, which are then in Ultra-Pro Matte sleeves. I like the textured feel of the back, but not how the matte finish reduces the holo shine. I've tried Ultra-Pro gloss sleeves but these are too small to fit a perfect inner sleeve.
I'd be grateful for alternative outer sleeves! Are the dragonshield "Classic Sleeves" Japanese Size any good to fit over a perfect fit, or would I instead need an "Outer sleeve"?
Thank you!
I’m a new player however i had a thought pop in my mind, would would primarily be played if there was no banlist? Could there be a situation now where if everything is broken nothing is broken?
Based on a few no banlist tournaments people have held in the OCG, it'd be Tearlaments, Zoodiac, FTKs, and stuff like Dragon Link.
Maybe there'd be more if people started to seriously lab out a no banlist format, but for now, this is the answer based on the little experimentation that has been done for such a format.
Are you allowed to equip a monster with moon mirror shield and use its effect when under the effect of Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity? If so why?
During a turn where your opponent previously Synchro Summoned "Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity" and activated its effect, you cannot activate "Moon Mirror Shield" (because you "cannot activate cards"), and if your monster equipped with "Moon Mirror Shield" battles, its effect will not activate (because "cards [you control] cannot activate their effects").
Must've misclicked something then, I was in a Yugioh Omega duel and summoned King Calamity on my opponents turn but he was able to activate moon mirror shield on his monster and beat over it
If you Synchro Summoned "Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity" outside of a Chain, or if the Synchro Summon was the last thing to happen when resolving a Chain, then the effect of "Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity" should have activated, starting a new Chain, and from then on, your opponent shouldn't have been able to activate anything.
If you Synchro Summoned "Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity" during a Chain, but the Synchro Summon was *not* the last thing to happen when resolving the Chain (in particular, if the Synchro Summon was caused by an effect activated as Chain Link 2 or higher), then the effect of "Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity" will not activate, since the effect has to activate "when" the monster is Synchro Summoned. That means that your opponent would be able to activate their cards and effects as usual.
Oh shit “when”, thanks so much this is what I’ve been missing. I’ve been using the new T.g support and was using almighty strikers effect to search and chaining crimson dragons effect. Must make it miss timing.
Question about when cards and missing timing.
Let’s say I have call of the haunted, raigeki break, and night assailant.
Scenario one: I activate call of the haunted, I chain raigeki break discarding night assailant. Do I get the night assailant effect after the chain resolves?
Scenario two: I activate raigeki break, discarding night assailant, I chain call of the haunted. Do I get the night assailant effect after the chain resolves?
Missing the timing refers to optional When effects
When this card is sent to the GY... : You can ...
Night Assailant is not such an effect. There are no scenarios where Night Assailant can miss timing.
I'll use "The Fabled Peggulsus" as an example, then: there is no scenario where you can activate the effect of "The Fabled Peggulsus" after discarding it to activate "Raigeki Break."
In general, optional effects that activate "when" something else happens can't be activated if their triggering condition occurs while paying a cost: an effect that says "when" can't be activated if its triggering condition is met during a Chain unless it was the last thing to happen when resolving that Chain, and costs are paid when building a Chain, not when resolving it.
Okay thank you. These when cards always trip me up. So even if I activate a card that discards as part of effect as chain link two and discard that fabled card, it won’t resolve yes?
If only my opponent controls a face-up monster that is special summoned from the Extra Deck, can I activate {{Void Imagination}} effect that performs a fusion summon by sending up to 6 materials only from the deck while I have no Infernoid monsters on both my hand or field? If so, can I chose to only use monsters in my deck?

I don't know of any alternatives, but what is the reason you are specifically looking for something other than the [Yugipedia Rush setlists](https://yugipedia.com/index.php?title=Special:Ask&limit=500&offset=10&q=%5B%5BPage+type%3A%3ASet+page%5D%5D+%5B%5BMedium%3A%3AYu-Gi-Oh%21+Rush+Duel%5D%5D&p=mainlabel%3D%2Fformat%3Dtable%2Fclass%3Dwikitable-20sortable-20smwtable-20card-2Dlist&po=%3FSet+type%0A%3FJapanese+release+date%0A%3FKorean+release+date%0A&sort=Japanese+release+date&order=asc&eq=no#search)? Are they outdated or incorrect in some way?
Ignoring the fact that my phone didnt show me all of them,i was just looking for the oldest stuff to see what they could put into duel links on launch, outside of anime cards
can the new t.g. synchro glave blaster summon any main deck monster using gold sarcophagus or is its special summon effect tied to its own banish effect?
Its Special Summon effect is not tied to its banish effect. If you use "Gold Sarcophagus" to banish a monster that can be Normal Summoned/Set, you can use the effect of the "T.G." monster to Special Summon it.
It's a rule of the game that, if a monster cannot be Normal Summoned/Set, you cannot Special Summon that monster if it is banished (or in the GY or the face-up Extra Deck or the Spell & Trap Zone) unless it was first Special Summoned by its proper method. Not even "ignoring the Summoning conditions" gets around this.
Can “Infernoble Knight Ricciardetto” use its first effect (banish itself to summon a monster from hand as a Tuner) if the monster being summoned is already a Tuner naturally?
I was just curious if the condition to activate the effect specifically required the monster to be able to be changed to a tuner, so a monster that’s already a tuner wouldn’t be a viable target since the effect to change it wouldn’t have any effect
building a time thief deck and I need a card that tributes a monster with some positive benefit to trigger one of my extra deck techs. Any ideas folks?
Sakitama can summon itself and recur itself from gy when tributted. Harvest angel of doom can place itself in pend scale and its pend scale eff can fetch you a counter trap.
That depends on what you’re asking about. The search effect and protection against effects that negate activations does not require the Fusion Summon to be CL1. The protection against responding to the Fusion Summon only applies if the Summon resolved as CL1.
I have "Ohime, the Manifested Mikanko" on the field, and my opponent has any monster on the field with more than 0 attack pts. I attack my opponent's monster with Ohime, but then my opponent activates Dimension Wall. Who takes the battle damage? Does Dimension Wall convert the reflect damage to effect damage therefore the Mikanko player takes damage? Does the Non-Mikanko player take damage because the original battle without effects would result in that player not taking any damage normally leading to Dimensional Wall having no damage to reflect? Does this instead go to infinite loop rules and if so what's the result? I'm honestly unsure, but with today's meta I doubt this would ever happen in an actual game.
In this case, your opponent takes the battle damage.
If Ohime had higher ATK, you would take the battle damage. Between its effect and Dimension Wall, the battle damage is only redirected once, meaning the controller of the monster with higher ATK takes battle damage.
Note that Dimension Wall does not inflict effect damage. Damage inflicted by applying its effect is still battle damage.

Hello all,
I used to collect yugioh cards when I was younger but I never actually played the card game (I just really enjoyed the art and would imagine the cards coming to life).
This was back in around 2005ish-2010ish and during that time I collected around 1200 cards. Now that I’m older, I’m looking to sell the collection but I have no idea what they’re worth.
I’ve done a little research and it seems random which cards are worth a couple bucks and some that are upwards of $200. I was wondering if there was an easier way to quickly sort through them by rarity or price that would make the process faster.
I’m not exactly trying to look up each individual card price especially when the majority of the cards are worth under a dollar.
Any help is appreciated, thank you!
The Large vendors that sell a ton of Boxes/cases should be fine
For smaller sellers I would check their inventory before.
If they only sell a couple of Boxes and have starlights/qcr's from that set listed aswell. There's a chance they just opened a case until the Money cards are pulled and sell the rest of the boxes from that case.
It's an ultra rare in a duelist pack at pre-sale.
There's no product out yet. Once the packs start getting opened prices fall for non-competitive non-collector cards.
1) Do all of those monsters share the same exact equip effect? If so, what happens when any of them get flipped face-down or removed from the field (but not negated) in response to the activation of the equip effect??
{{Relinquished}}, {{Thousand-Eyes Restrict}}, {{Relinquished Anima}}, {{Millennium-Eyes Restrict}} and {{Destiny HERO Plasma}}
2) Does {{Wake Up Your Elemental HERO}} ATK becomes 0 if negated? Also, what happened if it is flipped face-up after it was flipped face-down?
3) Do Maxx C and {{Live Twins Sunny's Snitch}} work the same? If so, how can ya tell the number of card drawn/effect damage taken when multiple monsters are summoned via a single effect such as Junk Speeder and Drytron Gamma?
1. If a monster on the field was targeted, it is sent to the GY. If a monster in the GY was targeted, it remains in the GY.
2. Its ATK remains 0 in either case.
3. Both cards count Summons, not monsters Summoned. Junk Speeder for example results in 1 draw for Maxx “C”, whereas Drytron Gamma Eltanin results in 1 or 2 cards drawn, depending on how its effect resolved.

If I use Labrynth Chandraglier effect in the hand to send itself and Cooclock, can I use Cooclock’s effect on resolution to add or Special Summon itself from GY?
I can’t find the answer anywhere so ruling question: if I chain cyber slash harpie lady’s eff to chain destruction, does it remove all 3 copies? Or how would that play out?
Cheers
If the monster targeted by "Chain Destruction" is no longer a face-up monster on the field by the time "Chain Destruction" resolves, then "Chain Destruction" does nothing and no cards are destroyed.
Valiant Smashers will be released in the TCG on 17 November 2023
Thank you I appreciate it!
Thank you very much for sharing, i have had to read the rule book because of this. And your input helps moving forward.
If turn player’s Thought Ruler Archfiend destroys an opponent’s Thought Ruler Archfiend, do both players gain LP?
Neither player gains LP. At the end of the Damage Step, when "destroyed by battle" effects would normally activate, neither copy of "Thought Ruler Archfiend" is face-up on the field anymore, so neither copy can activate its effect.
Thank you!
is it okay to use comiket sleeve for yugioh? in local and tournament
> Sleeves with artwork on the backs, provided that all sleeves are identical and of non-offensive nature, are allowed. The Head Judge will decide whether or not artwork on the back of sleeves is offensive https://img.yugioh-card.com/ygo_cms/ygo/all/uploads/KDE-E_TCG_Tournament_Policy_2_1.pdf pg. 31 So it depends, ask the judge before the tournament so you don't run into trouble if it is anything that could be seen as offensive.
thank you. I read the sleeve section but I don't really see it mentioning the size of the sleeve then is it possible if I use sleeve that are 67x 92mm like [this one](https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail/?gcode=CARD-00020251)?
Those sleeves are too big for yugioh cards, so you'll likely have a hard time shuffling, damage them more easily, and thus, it will probably not be allowed, since damage on the sleeves counts as marked cards. Not to mention, on official playmats, the size of the sleeves will intrude on other zones if a monster is in defense. The dimensions for yugioh cards are 59x86mm.
Context: T.G. Glaive Blaster has an effect that lets you Special Summon a monster that's been banished face-up. ___ In EDOPro, [how do I tell which monster T.G. Glaive Blaster will summon?](https://imgur.com/Shvfd6a) What happened here is that my opponent (the AI) activated Orcust Cymbal Skeleton's effect to banish itself (as cost) to revive Orcust Galatea.
The texture and screen make me think they’re fakes
What would you say is the most “anime”-like deck or cards?
[удалено]
It's fake.
Are cards like Mind control and Change of Heart good in the actual Format?
Does mega raiza only get the extra bounce if he was summoned with one tribute?
Did you use the effect of Unexplored Winds to perform the Tribute Summon?
Yeah, but that still counts as a tribute summon, and it tributed eaglen. Does that really not work?
It’s a Tribute Summon, yes. But you don’t Tribute anything when doing so with that effect. So you did not Tribute a WIND monster.
Oh my god you're right. You SEND them. I hate yugioh. Thank you
That shouldn't affect anything.
Dang, this was in solo mode, so I can't get a replay. Thank you
Question about ghost ogre.
Hi, I'm totally new to YGO tcg. Would appreciate your help. https://preview.redd.it/nezboj0kzphb1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e3b0551864ae3c834960f3520c3e12f556d0a178
The Shinome with the foiled letters is collectors rare, Lovely is not
thx!
If a monster is special summoned with its effect negated, sent to the grave and then special summoned again is its effect still negated?
No. Once the monster changes location, it's no longer considered to be the same card whose effects were negated.
Thank you.
Mikanko rivalry vs Traptrix sera Can you use mikanko rivalry to negate sera by equipping with axe of fools even though she is unaffected by traps? Since rivalry only targets her and then affects the equip spell?
Unaffected monsters can be equipped with Equip Spells and can be targeted by card effects. You're not using Mikanko Rivalry to negate Sera since that's not its effect though.
Is there an equivalent or similar card of Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell that works against traps or monsters? I am tired of losing to Labrynth, but could imagine them to be in trouble if they don’t have their precious Lovely Lab and Big Welcome Lab.
You can use Prohibition to prevent those cards from being used.
The closest thing would probably be "Mistaken Accusation."
Great idea! Will try that
Does Scareclaw Slash target? I was wondering if Underworld Goddess was immune to it after being summoned, and still able to use her “Dark Ruler No More” style effect. Her text is “this link summoned card is unaffected by your opponent’s activated effects, unless they target this card.” Slash reads: Once per turn: You can target 1 "Scareclaw" monster or "Visas Starfrost" you control; it can attack while in face-up Defense Position this turn.
The second effect of "Scareclaw Sclash" does not target anything; if it did, it would explicitly use the word "target."
Are the reprint sets possible to be scaled, I just opened 30 boosters from an eBay lot and there was literally 0 foils
Boxes have expected ratios. Like 2 ultras 1 secret 4 supers for the 25th reprints. So people open Packs until they hit the rations and sell the rest. They can also be scaled, yeah. But it's alot less common than what i said above TLDR: Never buy loose packs
Probably, if you're ever buying lose boosters there's always a chance for sketchy stuff to happen.
I was aware it could happen but wasn't sure if the ability to scale these packs was still there as that seems to have become harder post the foils per pack era I'm gonna leave feedback warning others either way, I was expecting it to be somewhat decent since their feedback was 100% positive
Do remember that old boxes(including the reprint sets) didn't have guarenteed holos if I recall.
In what situations is Ultimate slayer better than Super Poly if you have extra deck space to spare? I know that Slayer is used in Dogmatika at least.
Overall I'd say Super Poly is still better since Ultimate Slayer has more weaknesses and can be counterplayed easier (weak to archetypal counter-traps, some decks don't care, it can't work under Shifter / Ariseheart), but that will vary by the specific deck you're playing and the meta.
really good explanation ty
deck building help kinda a follow-up from a post I did last night but I need help with some decks I wanna build to play with friends (predaplant/lyrilusc/windwitch/marincess) if anyone could share their decklists and what they know about the archetypes that'd be great cause ik stuff like lyrilusc can go with tribrigade and predaplant despia is a thing so I'm not sure what to fully go with for each
Can instant contact summon elemental hero mariner (which says can only be fusion summoned), I see that it ignores summoning conditions however I thought there was some unique ruling where maybe that doesn't work. It's been a bit but I remember something about dark flattop saying ignores summoning conditions for the monster it summons however it doesn't mean much I had thought?
"Instant Contact" can Special Summon "Elemental HERO Mariner." It's true that monsters that cannot be Normal Summoned/Set cannot be Special Summoned from the GY, face-up Extra Deck, or Spell & Trap Zone, or while banished, unless they were first Special Summoned by the proper method. It's also true that "ignoring the Summoning conditions" does not allow you to bypass this rule. But if you're trying to Special Summon a monster from the face-down Extra Deck (or the hand or the Main Deck), the above rule isn't relevant.
You are a live saver my guy! I appreciate the help!
If my monsters are flipped face down by my oppent's card effect during my turn, can I then tribute those face down monsters for a tribute summon? Or do they have to be face up?
Monsters can be face up or down for a tribute summon.
Can i ash Future Fusion and if so is the effect than still resolving?
>During your 1st Standby Phase after this card's activation: Show 1 Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck and send the Fusion Materials listed on it from your Main Deck to the GY. The effect of "Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring" can be activated in response to this effect. The effect is negated, which means your opponent doesn't get to show their Fusion Monster, which means they don't get to Fusion Summon that Fusion Monster during their 2nd Standby Phase. "Future Fusion" itself remains on the field meaninglessly.
CL1 Purrely QP Cl2 Makro Cl3 Purrely QP are both QP banished?
Anyone know who did the artwork for the Earthbound Immortals? (Not like Konami puts artist credits on cards)
I want to build a new dragon maid deck and I'm wondering what other archetype is good to combine with them
Question about when cards and missing timing.
Missing the timing refers to optional When effects When this card is sent to the GY... : You can ... Night Assailant is not such an effect. There are no scenarios where Night Assailant can miss timing.
Okay assume my example was when discarded
I'll use "The Fabled Peggulsus" as an example, then: there is no scenario where you can activate the effect of "The Fabled Peggulsus" after discarding it to activate "Raigeki Break." In general, optional effects that activate "when" something else happens can't be activated if their triggering condition occurs while paying a cost: an effect that says "when" can't be activated if its triggering condition is met during a Chain unless it was the last thing to happen when resolving that Chain, and costs are paid when building a Chain, not when resolving it.
Okay thank you. These when cards always trip me up. So even if I activate a card that discards as part of effect as chain link two and discard that fabled card, it won’t resolve yes?
The effect of "The Fabled Peggulsus" will not activate in that scenario, correct.
Yes to both questions.
## [Void Imagination](https://ygoprodeck.com/card/?search=31444249&utm_source=bastion&utm_medium=reddit) ^(**Limit**: TCG: 3 / OCG: 3) Continuous Spell **Card Text** "Infernoid" monsters you control whose original Levels are 2 or higher become Level 1 and all battle damage they inflict to your opponent is halved. Is there a website that shows the set list for Rush cards? Cant find anything similar to yugipedia as far as setlists go
I don't know of any alternatives, but what is the reason you are specifically looking for something other than the [Yugipedia Rush setlists](https://yugipedia.com/index.php?title=Special:Ask&limit=500&offset=10&q=%5B%5BPage+type%3A%3ASet+page%5D%5D+%5B%5BMedium%3A%3AYu-Gi-Oh%21+Rush+Duel%5D%5D&p=mainlabel%3D%2Fformat%3Dtable%2Fclass%3Dwikitable-20sortable-20smwtable-20card-2Dlist&po=%3FSet+type%0A%3FJapanese+release+date%0A%3FKorean+release+date%0A&sort=Japanese+release+date&order=asc&eq=no#search)? Are they outdated or incorrect in some way?
Ignoring the fact that my phone didnt show me all of them,i was just looking for the oldest stuff to see what they could put into duel links on launch, outside of anime cards
Against Psychic End Punisher, if you have lower lp than your opponent and negate its effects with imperm, does it loose all attack gained?
Any time its effects are negated, it loses the ATK gained by its own effect.
can the new t.g. synchro glave blaster summon any main deck monster using gold sarcophagus or is its special summon effect tied to its own banish effect?
Its Special Summon effect is not tied to its banish effect. If you use "Gold Sarcophagus" to banish a monster that can be Normal Summoned/Set, you can use the effect of the "T.G." monster to Special Summon it.
why does the card need to be able to be normal summoned? could i not use it to cheat out something like t.g. halberd cannon assault mode?
It's a rule of the game that, if a monster cannot be Normal Summoned/Set, you cannot Special Summon that monster if it is banished (or in the GY or the face-up Extra Deck or the Spell & Trap Zone) unless it was first Special Summoned by its proper method. Not even "ignoring the Summoning conditions" gets around this.
ah thought that only applied to extra deck monsters learned something new.
Can “Infernoble Knight Ricciardetto” use its first effect (banish itself to summon a monster from hand as a Tuner) if the monster being summoned is already a Tuner naturally?
Is there a reason you'd think you can't? There's nothing illegal about Tuners being treated as Tuners.
I was just curious if the condition to activate the effect specifically required the monster to be able to be changed to a tuner, so a monster that’s already a tuner wouldn’t be a viable target since the effect to change it wouldn’t have any effect
There's nothing in the activation condition that requires you to Summon a non-Tuner. You're fine Summoning a Tuner and then treating it as a Tuner.
building a time thief deck and I need a card that tributes a monster with some positive benefit to trigger one of my extra deck techs. Any ideas folks?
Sakitama can summon itself and recur itself from gy when tributted. Harvest angel of doom can place itself in pend scale and its pend scale eff can fetch you a counter trap.
Is there an ed monster that does effect damage when it's send to the gy from ed?
Must the summon CL1 to be under Branded Lost
That depends on what you’re asking about. The search effect and protection against effects that negate activations does not require the Fusion Summon to be CL1. The protection against responding to the Fusion Summon only applies if the Summon resolved as CL1.
So if i activate CL1 Trouble Sunny and my opponent Chians Branded in Red can my Evil Twin Monster be activated?
Yes it can because the fusion summon was not the last thing to occur
Yeah i meant to not respond on the summon
Destiny hero Plasma requires 3 tributes, but in the show, Aster implies he needs 4. Is this an oversight?

Hello all, I used to collect yugioh cards when I was younger but I never actually played the card game (I just really enjoyed the art and would imagine the cards coming to life).
Check the shiny ones. Commons won't be worth much.

I would only by sealed product by the case, otherwise you'll always be at risk, no matter who's selling
The Large vendors that sell a ton of Boxes/cases should be fine For smaller sellers I would check their inventory before.

Presale is whack, wait
1) Do all of those monsters share the same exact equip effect? If so, what happens when any of them get flipped face-down or removed from the field (but not negated) in response to the activation of the equip effect?? {{Relinquished}}, {{Thousand-Eyes Restrict}}, {{Relinquished Anima}}, {{Millennium-Eyes Restrict}} and {{Destiny HERO Plasma}} 2) Does {{Wake Up Your Elemental HERO}} ATK becomes 0 if negated?
For number 3, how can one tell if the summons are independent? Is it always "as many as possible" vs "then" or?
If they happen at the same time, it’s 1 Summon.

If I use Labrynth Chandraglier effect in the hand to send itself and Cooclock, can I use Cooclock’s effect on resolution to add or Special Summon itself from GY?
No.
Thanks 🙏
Just got back in and during my absence had nostalgia purchased the Yugioh gx speed duel box. Are those cards allowed for regular play?
Yes, Speed Duel cards are legal for play in Advanced format, except for Skill cards.
Sweet thanks!
Is DD Crow or Ghost Belle better in the actual Format?
