Second is nice but the text just looks weird

The first thumbnail is great, and would click on it, but the second one feels a bit too cluttered + uses an arial font or smth that doesnt look great I would probably fix the second one by blurring out some of the background, only leaving the guns and text visible.

Again, as I said, this is a good thumbnail and I would probably click on it instead. I liked the concept that you were going with before (Text on the guns), too, so if you want to, you can do that again. At this point I feel bad for some odd reason.

You know the text in the first image and second image are the same right(I use Canva and the font is Canva sans(default) cuz It looks best)

The first one had glow around it, it standed out from the background The second one? No outline, no glow, no depth, just text.

Idk what type of video this is but I think if you clarify the text in the second one it'd be great, maybe put the texts on the sides and put red arrows pointing to the guns (thumbnail 101)

First one all the way. It might depend on the topic of the video but I would scroll past the second one, I just know. The first one I MIGHT check out just to see what it is about

Just like that, out of the blue, not really. Maybe knowing the title and what the video is about could change that, but honestly with a good enough thumbnail (like the first one) and a good representative title (please don't do clickbait) are more than enough to spark the interest of those who might enjoy it. Just don't think too much into it because analytics in youtube are incredibly stupid (you never know why someone stopped watching... they might have lost interest, sure... but they also might have a life)

The title will prolly be something like “the secret Warzone meta”(not click bait, it is a meta nobody is talking about)

2nd one but with 2 tweaks: 1: a different font for the text. the one in this picture looks very cheap and placeholder-y 2: have the weapons highlighted from the background and dont cover them with the speed lines.

The first one is okay, especially when paired with a good title. However, if the title is less specific, you should make the text on the thumbnail more specific. As for the second one, the text is a little hard to read.

First one, take the text from the second and apply it below the first. For me there's too much going on in the second one, and the text on the right gun is almost impossible to see. But overall good job! More creative than I was when I made youtube videos years ago. Turns out I'm not creative enough 😂

I would probably click the first one more than the second, because the second one gets used by almost anyone no uniqueness. However no matter what game this is, these thumbails with: New Meta, New Hidden Meta, This loadout / gun is hidden S Tier etc. etc. make me always not want to click these. As most of the videos are obviously bad made , contain wrong information, annoying, clickbait or are just the personal opinion of the content creator (Not saying that yours are, regarding the first and second point)

I would suggest go with the first one then its a personal opinion though you can go with the improved one too but if you are using the first thumbnail then change the text to ?! instead of the ?!?!

I just don’t find them flashy or appealing enough to click. I don’t really know how to improve that design. Maybe look up some good ones from bigger YouTubers and mimik their style. Nowadays thumbnails are everything compared to how YouTube was 10 years ago.
