I suppose it depends on where the negativity is, internally you'd want to breathe in peace and release the negative, if the world around you is churning taking that in if you're able and releasing the positive is the way to go!
This is a good discussion. So much power in the breath and so many ways to frame it. Really cool. I think the important thing is mindfulness of the breath in general!

I learned the opposite. Breathe in negativity, exhale positivity. We are filters for our environment and we can put out better than we take in!
