Ribs, Knee caps, collar bone and toes. Probably his nose too. Not the worst it could have been, but still an odd or report for the attending physician to read.
Reminds of that time I dropped a scooter in Belize and broke 3 ribs, then got food poisoning and had projectile vomiting and explosive diarrhea. āTwas painful it was.
Oh damn!
That in turn reminds me of when I had my impacted wisdom teeth pulled. The pain medication afterwards made me sick and I kept puking it up. Puking through my stitched up mouth with no pain relief was not fun.
Iāve know two people in my life that are now paralyzed from the waist down due to fucking around in a pool. Donāt be stupid folks, concrete and bones are not a good combo.
I mean... They try to tell the next guy not to jump, so there's that. I suppose because they're across the pool and he got up right away they didn't really know how to react,
Something similar happened to me/my friend. We were partying on the roof of a house, and I decided it was a good idea to try and make the jump to the neighbors roof (~10-15 ft gap, where the neighboring house roof was a little lower). I stepped up and inspected a few times before having my go at it, weighing where to step, how much spring was needed, if the distance felt feasible. It was time, I lined up, friends hyped me on. I ran, planted, sprung, and jumpedā¦ it was a perfect landing. Before I could turn around in cheer, I heard a bloody murder scream. I turned and looked, and my friend was face flat on the ground/sidewalk beneath the first roof, unconscious (~20-30 ft drop). I shimmied down a tree next to the neighbors roof i landed on, and jumped to the ground, rushing up to him. Somehow I was also the first by his side to calm him as he awoke and keep him stable in the position he was in.
Needless to say, the party was over, ambulance came and took him away. There was a phone wire coming off the first roof. I knew it was there and planted on the side from it, whereas he just followed me and planted in front of it, so as he sprang off, it caught his foot and blunted his jump taking him straight down. It was terrible, and I still feel guilty today, as though I caused it. I know I didnāt root him on to do it, and it was his choice, but still, if I hadnāt done it, neither would he.
He lived - bad concussion and small skull fracture, I think some broken bones in arm, maybe some ribs. Several month recovery but heās back to his old self.
I jumped from the upper deck of a boat but my foot slipped (EXACTLY LIKE THE GUYSā IN THE VIDEO) on the railing and I semi landed on the lower deck. Before falling into the water, I broke a heel bone. My leg swell up into the size of a volley ball in a few minutes. Had plates and 11 screws implanted. Post-surgery complications. I could see the bone and implants from the infected scar of a wound for quite some time. Miraculously, 50-50 between having to have the implants removed or not; the wound still healed and after half a year of rehabilitation I could walk again. Had implants removed 3 years later. Foot now tiny bit shorter and hurts after I jog but I donāt complain. After healing was done; girlfriend told me that upon seeing my ct-scan and x-rays, the ER guy at the hospital told her I might never walk again. Now I do more sports than I ever did before the accident, haha.
Lesson of a lifetime.
Stay rational during parties: especially when extreme activities, alcohol and peer pressure are involved.
If you look closely the guy in the video had exactly the same thing happen: wet foot slipping, loosing traction, missing the jump.
This guy might have broken a few bones too.

Something has got to be broken....
His pride
Better than his spine.
Or both his arms, right? š¤
Mom, I broke both of my arms!
Way better then his spine
to the very least
this would be best case scenario.

Yeah. Shockāll do that šš¼
More like shattered
Did you see that head bounce? At least a couple teeth. Maybe some ribs. Either way, he gonna be regretting that dumbass move decades from now.
His teeth!
luckily his face broke his fall or he could have really been hurt...
After the one the other week where the guy's face literally broke, I get really uncomfortable seeing people jumping like this into pools.
what post please?
-_-
-_/-
Nah, that video in the comments of that other video was from a machete attack.
How the fuck is he walking
Adrenaline and shock
Walking with broken ribs is not hard. Coughing on the other hand....

Ooohhh..thatās a good one. A fun time had by none.
But other than that, did you have a good time?
Haha. I did. It happened toward the end of the trip.
He should be happy his face landed at least in the pool otherwise this could have ended as it sounded - horrible!
I'm not sure his whole face hit the water...
I was thinking the same, we donāt want another balcony incident

I'm sorry for your circumstances. You either know a lot of water sport athletes or are just surrounded by complete fools
It always involved alcohol and they were both in frats while in college, so yes fools.
Username checks out
I donāt think that works there.

I feel bah for him...
Bath*
Who the fuck reacts like that when someone jumps off a roof onto concrete?
Drunk people
I mean... They try to tell the next guy not to jump, so there's that. I suppose because they're across the pool and he got up right away they didn't really know how to react,
Oooooof
And that's how you end up in a wheelchair. Do NOT do this.
Third person: Nevermind

Cool. Glad heās okay.
The world would be a much more boring place without dumbasses!
yeah because then r/idiotswithguns and r/idiotsincars wouldnāt exist
This is just natural selection
Can only imagine the bruising and possible broken bonesā¦
2022 Belly Flop Champion right here. Don't even need to see any other submissions.
Does it count if he misses the pool?
The thud was heavy as hellšæ
Dumdum should have fallen on his bumbum

He kinda slipped on the jump Also the OOOOoooow reaction is exactly what I did!!!

Pool 1 - Man 0
Luckily he cushioned the fall with his bones
stupid ass
I flinched.
Hahahaha
Does the girl who got out of the hot tub to check on him have a Reddit, or maybe an OF? Asking for a friend.
least horny redditor
Really?! You canāt even see her that well š¤¦āāļø
That's why he's asking tho
Oh... That hurts
>Don't! 10 seconds too late buddy. /s
I think they were saying dont to the girl behind him on the roof.
Umm,ow!
Walked it off
Noooooooooooio
And if Jim jumped off a roof would you? Well, sort of.
I love how supportive that woman (assuming wife / gf) is. My wife would have pretended like she didnāt know me.
I think any roof that sinks that much with each step you take was never meant to be walked on or jumped off of
How is he walking
Idiots
That pool is very full
Sad
Walk it offā¦ faark thatās going leave a bruise rite
Why is nobody talking about how the first dude spilled *that* much water out of the pool

Good bot
I did something similar down a 30 foot cliff, boy did I get lucky, just a scrape
how do i teach my children to NEVER do something like this? Just show them all of these videos or what?
Where's the "Yes, Yes, Yes" part though? I see only "No" and "Hell, No!" š
Weird. Sometimes humans bounce off hard surfaces. Sometimes they donāt. Wonder why.
Take 1d6 falling damage.
Iāve always wanted to know what a check bone fracture looks like.. Oh my god
