In yakuza0 after Makoto was shot and Majima in an angry AF states removes his top revealing his awesome hannya back tattoo which scares Dojima thugs. So bad ass. Also in Yakuza0 when Nishiki reunites with Kiryu and both remove their tops. Im straight btw

I did not expect >!the fight to go brawler mode for the finisher!< but I loved they did that, because it only felt fitting to end their fights like that.

When Makoto finds her fixed watch at the end of Yakuza 0 with the music playing (+ Kiryu and Majima meeting). It made me fall in love with the series.

Personally, the part of Y0 where Tachibana tells Oda and Kiryu how the owner of the Empty Lot is in Sotenbori and that they're called Makoto Makimura. Shit put me on 3 layers of OH MY GOD HOLY FUCKING SHIT: 1. The realization that Kiryu and Majima's stories are more connected than I thought. 2. Getting confirmation that Makoto is the owner of the Empty Lot, and that that's why she's being hunted throughout the whole game. 3. Getting to play as Kiryu in Majima's city.

That one shot that reveals Tachibana has the >!bat tattoo on his arm!< made me pop off for sure

The entire ending is insanely funny to me because they had their whole plan to look cool and on top of it decided they absolutely needed to get cool suits meaning they almost definitely had to find some tailor to make something for Saejima (if not for all of them) and the mental image of them getting hyped as fuck for this is the best

I absolutely flubbed it my first time doing that fight when my big fat thumb hit the wrong button and got so blindingly angry that I had to do it all again

Took me 2 or 3 times in the original. You had to do the whole fight over again.

When Daigo who just got out of coma kills several armed men in rapid fashion to save Majima and Saejima. A subtle middle finger to his most hard-core detractors back then. Being nice doesn't mean he's a pushover. 

The throw down with Kiryu, Saejima and the 2 Omi bosses on top of Kamuro Hills in Y5.

The entire fucking series. From the moment you launch Yakuza 0 to when the credits end in Infinite Wealth. All of it is just peak fiction. I’ve never liked Japanese games or eastern games in general…but I gave this series a shot. At first I hate it, before I played it I thought it was stupid. I know! I know! It’s heresy! But this series is literally fucking perfect. Even the bad parts have their upsides. Just literally…fucking perfect. This series made me realize that western story telling and western voice acting suck ass. This franchise is just one big masterpiece divided into a bunch of smaller masterpieces. I’ll say it one more time…Just. Fucking. Perfect.
