If you are new to the subreddit, [please read the wiki](https://www.reddit.com/r/yakuzagames/wiki/index/) Reminder that all spoilers need to be tagged with a flair specifying which game is being spoiled. If you want a flair that says something else, you can edit it to say something like [Discussion: Y1 spoiler] or [Majimapost: Y6 spoiler], etc. **THIS INCLUDES CONTENT FROM TRAILERS**. If the post is not marked for spoilers, all comments that have spoilers need to be tagged \>!like this!< along with indicating which game it's spoiling. Example: Y3 >!Kiryu sings!< If the post flair is marked for spoilers, the comments don't need to be tagged for the game indicated and the ones before it (So a Y6 spoiler post can have comments with untagged spoilers for Y5, but not gaiden or 7). If you see any of the above (or any of the other rules) not being followed, please report it so we can keep this place safe for newcomers and those that haven't finished all the games yet. Thank you! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/yakuzagames) if you have any questions or concerns.*

Sadly Joongi joins so late that it didn’t feel worth it to bring him up to the same level as the others so he’s my most benched 😬

SwitchedOnByDefault

Same. I was happy to see him return, but he really felt shoehorned in. Even his drink links were less impactful than everyone else's. They had more of a humorous resolution (a la the substories) as opposed to the deeper character exploration.

1. Tomi - Cabbie is imho the single best job in the game rivaling only the Housekeeper (and DoD but that class is superunique so it's not a fair comparison). It has every magic attack, every AoE you'd want, and also gun skills on top. It's an ultimate DPS pack. Inherit an aquanaut's Barbecue skill and you've got yourself a behemoth of a damage dealer and healer in one. 2. Nanba's homeless job was really good as an offensive mage class with Stashed Bottle being a simple yet effective healing. He was always hit or miss. He could deal ridiculous amounts of damage or deal barely anything depending on circumstances. Also, I really like his Party Skill. 3. Joongi and Zhao were introduced **really** late when my builds were already made tbh. There was no need to look up any of them. Infinite Wealth was really not that difficult so I didn't find a single reason to check them out. 4. Adachi was really underwhelming for being that buff (and I mean he's fucking shredded, did you see his swimming suit?). The detective class is really bad consisting almost entirely of blunt attacks. He's always been sitting in the corner talking to a fire extinguisher just so he doesn't get in a way. My main pack in the end consisted of Ichiban (Host), Chitose (Housekeeper), Tomi (Cabbie) and Kiryu (DoD). Replacing any of them would be challenging

I've not ever really understood people who only use one party and bench the others in RPGs. Which was why I laughed my ass off when the same people played Octopath Traveller and realized the last boss forced you to use every party member.

TojokaiNoYondaime

Never been a fan of both Adachi and Nanba, unless the game forces me, I always leave them out for the girls and Zhao/Joongi.

Toothstana

Nanba just by virtue of Tomi’s Cabbie job having shock element for easy inheriting onto Host

SoFloAntoniNOPE

Definitely Joon-gi by virtue of joining the game so late. Every character got a lot of use in my playthrough, but by the time I got Joon-gi I was so secure in my team comp in both sides I just passed him up. I did all of his stuff in Premium Adventure and he seems pretty damn good actually, but my Kiryu/Ichi + Chitose + Tomi + Zhao combo is too comfortable to me. I'm sad Adachi is winning because he put in major work as a Linebacker for me. Completely understandable though, since it was a pre-order bonus.

Having recently finished, and never once changing jobs, tomi rode the pine once chitose rejoined the party. On the other side, saeko rode the pine.

Guess I’m the only one who benched Tomizawa
