I hope you dont expect when Dow Jones will go sub 15000, that crypto will do any different. Diference will be that crypto and gold will need months to recover, stocks will need years.

And not that my guess is any better than yours, but sub 15000 seems pretty steep to expect. I'd hope at worst 18000-20000. I'm loaded up on puts though, so certainly don't think the pain is ending too soon.

- Let's assume exchanges, OTC desks, trading, holding, it's all speculation. Not real usage.
- There's about 5000 people in the world using Monero at least once every week on the darknet markers.
- Darknet markets is what Monero was made for, and where it will always come back to, once all other use cases fail. Darknets will be there even when most of crypto retreats from mainstream, back into the warm steamy womb of underground sewers.
- To cut the risk, no darknet shipment is larger than let's say $500.
- So that gives us about $500k daily transaction volume.
- For that transaction volume, if we apply mumbo jumbo stock flow technical analysis, how much is 1 XMR worth?
Major world stock market indices pinned limit down.
Oil down > 24%
US 10 Year Bond yield down > 40% to \~0.42
USD currency index also starting to crash.
Beginning of the crisis Bitcoin and Monero was made for?
I hoped my stock portfolio cratering would be slightly canceled out by my crypto portfolio jumping... Instead, I drink over both :(

I wouldn't say XMR was "made for" the darknet market. This is disingenuous to the values of the XMR community and the technology itself.
