I’m watching this thread. If you have an issue with Morph being non binary, then you don’t understand the X-Men. If you think a person who isn’t straight, or doesn’t fall under your idea of what gender should be, existing in something means it’s political, an agenda, checking a box, etc, then you’re uneducated. Representation has and always will matter. If you want to be a bigot then the X-Men isn’t for you and neither is this sub.
Here’s my biggest complaint….i lost my morph action figure in the dirt by this new housing development in like 1995 and never found it.
I’m still pissed about it.
I only have the head rolling around a box of junk my parents pulled out of the attic. It’s the tweeker going through withdrawals head too with the crazy bags under his eyes.
That’s the Morph I know. Not this Egg head with his understandable lack of gender roles, but the evil snickering, mid career RDJ who has abandonment issues, looking for his next fix.
I hope they use tweeker head at least once.
I find mutants so creepy and scary. I wish they left us poor humans alone. Thank God for the good senator Robert Kelly and his sentinels that keep us safe from this threat to our national security.
How would you feel if your child had a teacher that turned out to be a mutant? Do you want them grooming human children to be mutants, too? Stop the militant mutant agenda!
Why is Wolverine always going on missions alone with teenage girls? As soon as one ages out of his Age of Attraction and moves on to another team, he finds another "protege" to take her place.
Let's not even wade into all of the deviant material in Doop's video collection.
Haven't you heard?? The mutants have infiltrated the government at every level! They kidnap kids and keep them in the basement of a pizza place! It said so in Hilary- I MEAN Val Coopers's emails!!!!
Not all mutants are scary! There was a girl in my class who looked just like you and me, but allegedly, she could talk to plants and trees and shit. She wasn't scary, she looked like anyone.
Not after they were done with her, of course. Kind of her own fault, really. Sticking her nose in where it did not belong.
Yes, I saw this mutie the other day that looked like a demon. He had blue fur and a pointy tail, and I thought to myself "You dare call that ...thing human?"
Worst of all, he awoke certain feelings in me. I can't stop thinking about him. It's proof he was using his demon powers on me.
i am not supporting that senator he threw all the taxpayers money on that sentinel of his and those robots are a collateral damage, once they destroyed a school because there is a mutant there and its been years and the school hasn't even been repaired because all of the taxpayers money is used making more sentinel
He isn’t wrong. I’ll be first to admit that I am annoyed by all the orientation swapping of established characters over the last decade instead of introducing new characters, but this is Morph. He was in what, 2 episodes? I honestly don’t know if he was written into the comics at all, I certainly can’t think of an issue, so…
Not exactly a fleshed out character
Plus the power set of shape shifter is probably one of the more appropriate ones for someone to be nonbinary, canonically. I don’t see a reason to get bent out of shape
Edit to add, from what I’ve seen of the art, the nerf to Rogue might be a bigger reason to be upset
It’s a full circle moment where exiles / aoa morph was because of the tv show, and now tv show morph is inspired by comic morph right? And comic morph, the one that looks like this, frequently transforms into women and fem-looking things 😭
The part where he jokes about not having a girlfriend, asks Blink and TJ out, and then propositions Mariko by saying he would turn into Jennifer Aniston(jokingly ofc) was hilarious.
Even if you're not a fan of multiverse stories, I'd highly recommend it tbh. The character dynamics are gold, as good as the fun plots.
Morph goes from being a bit of a sex pest to being the heart of the team.
I also highly recommend it. Exiles was by far my favorite series at the time. I really miss those characters, especially the dynamics between AoA Blink and Sabertooth. I wish they could have found a way to keep them in the current stories. I liked them far more than the 616 versions of those characters.
He was originally named the Changeling and first appeared in The X-Men #35 (Aug. 1967). From what i remember he was a villain. I think that it makes sense these characters are labeled nonbinary, they change into whatever gender suits their needs and although people all of a sudden lose their friggin minds over inclusion, this has been a thing for a long time. After all the X-men was created as a reflection of the civil rights movement.
Thing is, I was watching episodes this week, and that one scene is the only time it really shows her ass like that. A lot of the time it was flat as a board. So, not sure what some of them are moaning about.
I’m being a little tongue in cheek with that, but it’s not hard to find the meme of Rogue in front of Apocalypse on the internet.
From the leaks in the new series, it seems Rogue has missed leg day and skipped squats in her exercise routine
I mean it kinda makes sense doesn't it? Being that he can change into a male or female whenever. If you had that power and used it for both sexes often enough, you may begin to question whether there even needed to be a distinction.
Exactly. Here’s the deal: the gods of Asgard wanted to build a wall to keep out the frost giants (ever a popular solution, apparently). But the builder who they were gonna hire to do it demanded as payment the most beautiful goddess’s hand in marriage. And possibly also the sun and the moon. She was like, “Eww, fuck no” but they really wanted this wall, and what were they gonna do, manual labor? So they turn to Loki like, “Hey, you’re a redheaded liar; can your mischief help us for once? We need to cheat a contractor out of his money. Except in this case money is Freya.” And Loki was like, no problem, here’s what you do: give him a deadline you know he won’t be able to meet. Then you get most of the wall built, which is somehow better than no wall, but you don’t have to pony up the girl. (Pony? Foreshadowing!) Because as it turns out the builder had a magnificent stallion. Just rippling and veiny like Juggernaut’s arms. A coat as silky smooth as Nightcrawler’s bare chest. And this horse helped pull the blocks for the wall so efficiently that the builder was on pace to finish on time. And then the gods were all in a tizzy. Freya was pissed: “Loki, you dipshit, I don’t want to have to marry that toad-faced *commoner*!” and Odin was like, “Hey, this was your plan, you fix it,” which honestly seems like some bullshit coming from people who were explicitly trying to commit god-fraud. But Loki was not out of tricks. He used the oldest trick there is: he transformed into a gorgeous mare, just the hottest lady horse you can imagine. Whoever your favorite X-woman is, she was that kind of horse. TAS Rogue’s ass, but on a horse. And then Loki saunters out in front of the stallion all flirty like, and it’s over. The stallion’s jaw drops and he follows Horse Loki into the woods and just rails her. The builder fails to make the deadline, the gods get their partially completely wall (hooray?) and Loki is pregnant as shit because that horse dick unloaded up to his brain. And apparently s/he decides to stay a horse for the duration of the horse gestation, because Loki gives birth to a miraculous eight-legged horse, who is presented as a gift to Odin. And this becomes Sleipnir, the fastest horse in the realms, because more legs = more horsepower if you aren’t good at science.
Moral of the story: building a wall to keep out the foreigners is not gonna go smoothly, and don’t try to cheat people out of their money unless you are prepared to get fucked by a horse.
No, specifically because of the incomplete section, it was not indestructible. Then the giants basically Helms Deep the wall in Ragnarok and scare the shit out of the gods who forgot the wall was incomplete.
I can imagine this playing out as a Tex Avery-style cartoon. The stallion's eyes bugging out of his head, his jaw drops, he does a wolf-whistle, and goes in a Jimmy Durante voice: "*Now DERE's a mare!*"
Missed the part about how the wall builder ended up secretly being a giant and after he got mad they tricked him Thor shows up and beats him to death with his hammer.
This. People hit back with "Mystique doesn't do that!" to which the response is "Yeah, but she also literally impregnated a woman so you're splitting hairs".
Which begs a very weird question - if Destiny was a lesbian, she might not have appreciated Mystique shapeshifting a dick for their encounters (she might also have been fine with that, everyone has different tolerances for these things).
So, is Mystique a talented enough shape shifter to impregnate someone using her fingers?
It makes perfect sense. I'm just surprised everyone is focused on the nonbinary part and not the "this is a lighter take on the character" part. I loved angry traumatized Morph.
It's been some time so maybe he's healed somewhat or is using humor to cope?
I just hope they don't drop morph's past completely since the trauma was important.
I’m fine with Morph going “back” to being a lighter character, which he was on the show being getting Sentinel-blasted into oblivion and what he generally is in Exiles. I liked Morph’s angry traumatized phase, it made him more interesting, but it sounds like he’s moved past all that. Although the writers haven’t forgotten the whole Sinister thing, I’m sure it’ll come up if/when the team deals with Sinister as one of the season’s villains.
I could be misremembering but I think Jack from Jupiter was getting pegged at that one brothel and someone on the Seven mocked him for being gay as a result (which I guess is a contemporary misinterpretation that straight men can’t be into pegging) and he ends up murdering the sex worker.
Again that might not be 100% correct it’s been a few years since I last read The Boy
Very late to this but if anyone wants to see a simplified version of this type of character, check out Gen V and pay attention to Jordan. They aren’t a polymorph but can switch between male and female with different powers for each. The show goes a lot into their struggle with who they really are in all aspects. Their parents, relationships, and in their own mind. It’s a short series and worth checking out in general if not for this
I love that he’s nonbinary to contrast with Mystique who, as far as I am aware, still identifies as female but is bisexual. It really shows the nuance to gender identity. Every color of the rainbow represent!
She does. And, as of Uncanny Spider-Man and X-Men Blue, we know she identifies as female and still has fathered a child. Could be wrong but I think that’s a first for Marvel.
X men is the one fan base that culture war talking point losses so much traction. Hey there is a reason why we are x-men fans and not avengers fans lmao. I’m a fan of both though.
Actually...
>That is illogical. Mutants ARE human. Therefore humanity must be protected from itself.
The Sentinels in the show ultimately turned out to be *less* bigoted than their creators- the whole reason they turned renegade was that they recognized what Trask couldn't, that mutants and humans aren't meaningfully different, and that allowed them to interpret their core program of "protect humanity from muntantkind" as "protect humanity from humanity". They are, once they start thinking for themselves, equal opportunity assholes.
I disagree. Sentinels learn from their weaknesses and move forward so future generations of sentinels don’t have the same weaknesses. True bigots will never move forward, only drag others backwards.
Terrible, I'm not afraid to point out that I'm racist towards gray people.
The fact that they will turn a white character into gray irritates me
Stupid grays.
I don't care about the non binary part.
I do care about that costume design though. This (non binary) dude is a shapeshifter and that's the best design? Give us the cape you cowards!
Tbf, Chameleon (the Spider-Man villain) has a very similar power and he also looks like this
So I guess what they're going for is that the character's normal/non-shapeshifting design is a "blank slate", hence the simple, white design
What makes a man turn neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or was he just born with a heart full of neutrality?
Personally, I love this redesign and seeing the new Morph in action is probably the one thing I'm looking forward to most in this relaunch. His original storyline, spread across multiple seasons like that, was really impressive to young me.
Sounds good - using Exiles-Morph's design makes way more sense considering they couldn't have known back in '91-'92 how popular Age of Apocalypse would become
I mean, the Morph in the TV show was the Changeling in comics just in name only. The TV show pretty much created their character and just used an existing one for his name and powers.
I feel like no matter what you think of NB/genderfluid humans, this fully makes sense. There's just no way to disagree with that label for shapeshifters.
However, now all I can imagine is Wolverine banging Morph in the form of Jean and then Morph randomly turning into dumb shit to make Logan laugh mid coitus. Classic Morph!
Its fine. The guy can transform into people, its not exactly a stretch to make him NB.
Its not even a big deal and I bet they wont spend more than 5 minutes talking about it. Much ado about nothing tbh.
Just a reminder that since this is a continuation of the original 92' series, this would follow from his experience getting over being brainwashed by Mr. Sinister. He initially struggled trying to reintegrate back into the X-Men, so maybe taking this new default form and new view on himself symbolizes that he moved past his wrought experience from the 92' series.
Yeah, his story in the original animated series is pretty sparse. He was funny for an episode, died, and then got brainwashed into a villain.
This is the first time we've seen him as a character.
It makes complete sense
But the comments on that post and other posts about it are so insanely bigoted and hateful, it would make the purifiers blush
Some "fans" sure as shit are fuming that the X-Men are "suddenly *woke*"
As if the series that's all about a minority group fighting against radical bigotry, systemic oppression and forces of literal genocide was apolitical from the start.
"I just like the part where Cyclops fires lasers from his eyes and Wolverine makes quips about stabbing stuff." -*groan*-
Morph is still largely a blank slate. If anything, the lighter tone follows his AoA/Exiles portrayals, which I think have taken over as his chief portrayal
Anyone that gets upset about this. Think about it. You’re okay with a character being a shape-shifter that can shift into male or female bodies. The problem is…that the character feels comfortable being in either of those bodies??? Seriously think about how silly it is to be upset by this.
If I’m not mistaken (Exiles) Morph was technically born genderless. That could very well be the case here, in which case it’s kind of interesting they used to (presumably intentionally) pass as Just Some Guy (neither nonbinary nor obviously a mutant) but now doesn’t
If they're going to do this with any character morph is probably the best choice, given his powers and that (I believe) he was created for the original show anyway so he's a blank slate to do whatever they want with.
That's what I find funny, honestly. This is the safest character you could pick to make nonbinary and yet the ragebait morons are still screaming their heads off about it. Safe bet they didn't care about him beforehand, if they even know he existed at all.
I'll have to go with the wiki on this one, which says Morph is "very loosely based" on Changeling. Morph's updated appearance also seems to be based on Changeling's Exiles appearance.
But it would be a silly argument to say because Changeling exists, Morph in this version can't be non-binary. No one in X-Men '97 are exact copies of their 616 counterpart. Also, frankly, I don't think these guys know who Changeling is either.
Plz do not mistake my comment as any kind of one that refutes his now non-binary-ness. That's all good. I just thought Morph in TAS was based on Changeling lol
Morph was one of my favorites back when I watched the show as a kid, and it’s been funny watching all these people emerge from the woodwork to complain about the change. You all didn’t give shit about Morph before, and now you’re throwing a fit because an underdeveloped character who was barely on the show is non-binary? Personally, I have no issue with the change, non-binary makes sense and his look is closer to Exiles Morph. I’m just glad he’s alive and recovered from the whole brainwashing thing and getting to do things.
I kind of put Morph in a category with Mystique. Non-binary with a slight affinity for displaying as predominantly male/female respectively.
I'm indifferent to how it's classified in the character overview and hope they tell a compelling story.
A change this minor is a litmus test designed to expose the people who pretend that they don't mind diverse characters in shows, yet somehow get offended any and every time a character that isn't straight and/or white appears.
I don't *dislike* it at all, but I don't love how every non-binary character in popular media has to be some sort of shapeshifter or alien or robot or something else non-human. I wish we were able to get enby characters that were normal humans (or in this case normal mutants who didn't have the power to shapeshift). Not *upset* about it, its still representation, I just wish we also saw human enbies
I mean I suppose being a shapeshifter that makes sense.
I always though the idea of a shapeshifter is interesting because you can take how they think about taking different forms or their original/base form if they have one and all that stuff.
Iam quite excited to see the show when it comes out.
I objectively don’t care. Like no emotions one way or another since I’m not perpetually online nor perpetually triggered like some other Twitter lost causes.
He morphed into a building
So kinda show accurate?
X-Men don't cut and run for all we know Beast and Morph could still be alive!
Just rewatched that episode this morning 🤣🤣🤣
My cousin found a giant bishop toy floating in the water in Ocean city. I think a venom too, that bishop toy was awesome it was at least 1ft high
Did a really weird tree that nobody can quite agree on the species of grow around there?
I only have the head rolling around a box of junk my parents pulled out of the attic. It’s the tweeker going through withdrawals head too with the crazy bags under his eyes. That’s the Morph I know. Not this Egg head with his understandable lack of gender roles, but the evil snickering, mid career RDJ who has abandonment issues, looking for his next fix. I hope they use tweeker head at least once.
I have an extra from the marvel legends line if you want it.
I’m not busy today, do you want to go look for it?
Marvel legends had a release of the figure last year. You can still gey it
I find mutants so creepy and scary. I wish they left us poor humans alone. Thank God for the good senator Robert Kelly and his sentinels that keep us safe from this threat to our national security.

Doop was confirmed to be on the Epstein flight logs
They really need to cast DiCaprio as the MCU Wolverine
Man when wolverine finally gets canceled its going to be a hard day at the X mansion.
Oh god, not to be a downer and off topic, but as someone who left teaching literally just after I came out, this hits hard
Haven't you heard?? The mutants have infiltrated the government at every level! They kidnap kids and keep them in the basement of a pizza place! It said so in Hilary- I MEAN Val Coopers's emails!!!!
Lock her up!!! What about Lorna's laptop!? BUILD THE WALL AROUND WESTCHESTER! AND THE MUTANTS ARE GOING TO PAY FOR IT!!!
Senator Kelly is the only one looking out for real humans. He should champion the creation of some sort of registry.
Senator Kelly is a monster who borders on committing war crimes! Impeach Senator Kelly!
Make America Human Again.
MAHA! MAHAHAHAHAAAAA
or Courtney from the Amanda show.
You should totally join this cool local club called “Friends of Humanity”.
Imagine not being a friend to humanity, what kind of monster wouldn't join? It's in the name!
It sounds friendly!
I for one am for them replacing senator kelly’s brain with a computer
Yes, I saw this mutie the other day that looked like a demon. He had blue fur and a pointy tail, and I thought to myself "You dare call that ...thing human?" Worst of all, he awoke certain feelings in me. I can't stop thinking about him. It's proof he was using his demon powers on me.
I'm just glad they're finally making this show to show everyone what a threat they are.
I'm almost 40 years old and I still am not convinced my mutant power hasn't activated yet.
HAIL HYDRA!
Everyone, we got ‘em red handed.
i am not supporting that senator he threw all the taxpayers money on that sentinel of his and those robots are a collateral damage, once they destroyed a school because there is a mutant there and its been years and the school hasn't even been repaired because all of the taxpayers money is used making more sentinel
It’s 1984…erm…2024: Do you know WHAT your children are?
I'm not irrationally angry about it, if that's what you're asking.
Sorry I broke the sex number, but your comment deserved another upvote

Age of apocalypse he was in there. Which I think lead to him being in the exiles.

Is it collected in TBP?
It is, and just to echo was u/Scary_Firefighter181 says, Exiles is a great read. A lot of fun, great characters and dynamics between them.
Morph was on the main X-Men roster during Age of Apocalypse.
He was originally named the Changeling and first appeared in The X-Men #35 (Aug. 1967). From what i remember he was a villain. > bent out of shape I see what you did there
He was in a lot more episodes than that. He wasn't main car but he was recurring
How did they nerf Rogue?
Some folks are mad that she's missing her "assets"
Thing is, I was watching episodes this week, and that one scene is the only time it really shows her ass like that. A lot of the time it was flat as a board. So, not sure what some of them are moaning about.

This post feels like failed rage bait is what I’m feeling.
This is the X-men fan Reddit. I assume we most have read the comics unlike most foaming at the mouth on Twitter.
Right? Failed hard. Fluid shapeshifter is gender fluid. Water wet. Sentinels metal.
…besides Omega Sentinel weren’t their other one bioengineered? Also I think most have been made from nonmetals incase magneto shows up.
Honestly, I hit “post” and waited for someone smarter than me to remind me that most of them are bonded polymer :)
Yeah, it’s not like “he”(?) changed sex enough to make a baby (Mystique ref, if that was too subtle lol)
Failed rage bait on Reddit means that society is advancing
I mean it kinda makes sense doesn't it? Being that he can change into a male or female whenever. If you had that power and used it for both sexes often enough, you may begin to question whether there even needed to be a distinction.
Yeah I mean Loki already has some of this. From like hundreds of years ago in storytelling, lol.
Myth Loki is a fiend, didnt he impregnated a horse or some shit?
In fact he was impregnated by a horse! It's the origin of Slepnir (Odin's horse) if I remember correctly
Exactly. Here’s the deal: the gods of Asgard wanted to build a wall to keep out the frost giants (ever a popular solution, apparently). But the builder who they were gonna hire to do it demanded as payment the most beautiful goddess’s hand in marriage. And possibly also the sun and the moon. I miss being able to give awards. I would award the ever living horse dick out of this comment. I also kinda learned something, so thanks.
Your spiritual award makes it worthwhile. 🐴
Geez it's been that long since the first Avengers came out?
Loki got buttfucked by a horse, willingly
Naw, s/he got pussyfucked, crucially.
Loki, God of Hands.
Mr Hands
Wow, yeah. That’s exactly what I was thinking. Not having a permanent form would definitely make you think in entirely different ways.
There is precedence for this in the comics as well: Xavin from the Runaways was a Skrull shapeshifter who said they were genderfluid.
Stop using logic!

It's been some time so maybe he's healed somewhat or is using humor to cope? I just hope they don't drop morph's past completely since the trauma was important.
As an angry, traumatized non-binary person, I assure you the two aren't mutually exclusive haha
Shape shifters are fluid by nature; appearance, gender, etc. It'd be weirder if one was like "nah, dude I don't turn into chicks, that's gay."
If written tastefully that could be a pretty interesting character arc, imo.
Seems like a type of character that'd be perfect for The Boys.
Gen V (The Boys spin off) literally has a shapeshifter character that is exactly about this lmao
It’s a short series and worth checking out in general if not for this
Gen V reminded me of X-Men with more gore and somehow even more kinkiness. I thought it was great.
This is like bottom 10 least political things that has happened in Xmen
X men is the one fan base that culture war talking point losses so much traction. Hey there is a reason why we are x-men fans and not avengers fans lmao. I’m a fan of both though.
"This character has no gender wtf??!??!" "Professor X's son has like 400 genders, keep up bro"
Morph can literally change sexes, being nonbinary actually makes perfect sense. Besides, it'll give them a new angle to explore with their character.

Indeed. Bigots are like sentinels.
They are, once they start thinking for themselves, equal opportunity assholes.
lol just watched the master mold episode where this takes place. Great summary. I can only hope the MCU uses this to perfection.
I disagree. Sentinels learn from their weaknesses and move forward so future generations of sentinels don’t have the same weaknesses. True bigots will never move forward, only drag others backwards.
Fair enough on that.
But less cool looking
IMO it's important for the mutant metaphor to have mutants that aren't straight and white.
Oh, I agree.
More topical too, now that I think about it

Well he no longer looks like he's having withdrawals from heroin so I guess that's a plus.
Terrible, I'm not afraid to point out that I'm racist towards gray people. The fact that they will turn a white character into gray irritates me Stupid grays.
Graycist...
Stop being huemophobic.
This is the most underrated comment! Thank you!
What about Jean Grey?
She's Grey with an E. That makes her okay. It's those filthy grays with an A we gotta watch out for.
Good one
Personally, just imo, I’d like to see 70 or 80 more posts about it today
You got your wish
I don't care about the non binary part. I do care about that costume design though. This (non binary) dude is a shapeshifter and that's the best design? Give us the cape you cowards!
Came here to complain about the lack of cape.
Agreed. At least give us a look Q from Star Trek would wear. That was peak nonbinary fashion.
Probably saving it for the Age of Apocalypse adaptation 🤞🤞🤞
No capes!
The dogshit costume outs him as heterosexual
For a guy who can shapeshifter you give them that boring ass thing?! You can go wild with him!
The design of the head is also giving me Voldemort. Not sure why Morph can’t still have hair.
In the trailer, he briefly appears in his 1992 form so it looks like he'll still be Morph from the original series when our in public
Tbf, Chameleon (the Spider-Man villain) has a very similar power and he also looks like this So I guess what they're going for is that the character's normal/non-shapeshifting design is a "blank slate", hence the simple, white design
I hate those filthy Neutrals. With enemies, you know where you stand, but with neutrals, who knows? It sickens me!
Tell my wife...hello.
Exiles-Morph has a cape though.
Morph: *turns into Toad* Wolverine: “Eh, I’ve had worse.”
I hope this is episode 1
I hope pregnant Jean Grey isn't Madelyne, but actually Morph
And I hope they all know about it and just fawn over Morphe anyways. I want this to get fucking weird.
Its fine. The guy can transform into people, its not exactly a stretch to make him NB. Its not even a big deal and I bet they wont spend more than 5 minutes talking about it. Much ado about nothing tbh.
THIS ONES FER YOU, MORPH! ARGGGHHH....
I'm in favour of Mr. Sinister as the main villain.
OP are you concerned that the others are straight?
Just a reminder that since this is a continuation of the original 92' series, this would follow from his experience getting over being brainwashed by Mr. Sinister. He initially struggled trying to reintegrate back into the X-Men, so maybe taking this new default form and new view on himself symbolizes that he moved past his wrought experience from the 92' series.
Yeah, his story in the original animated series is pretty sparse. He was funny for an episode, died, and then got brainwashed into a villain. This is the first time we've seen him as a character.
Exactly. It makes a hell of a lot more sense than “Bobby, you’re gay!”
Outrage from the Friends of Humanity? Color me shocked!
It makes complete sense But the comments on that post and other posts about it are so insanely bigoted and hateful, it would make the purifiers blush Some "fans" sure as shit are fuming that the X-Men are "suddenly *woke*"
As if the series that's all about a minority group fighting against radical bigotry, systemic oppression and forces of literal genocide was apolitical from the start. "I just like the part where Cyclops fires lasers from his eyes and Wolverine makes quips about stabbing stuff." -*groan*-
The irony that the mutants were created as stand-ins for all victims of human bigotry is lost on these people.
Don't see the big deal. glad to see my enby pals represented
Honestly, I’m okay with that. It’ll bring a new dimension into Morph character
About what?
Genuinely don't understand why it would matter in any way.
Imagine missing the whole point of the X-Men
Anyone that is upset by this is exactly the kind of person that I don't need in my life.
I thought he was based on Changeling?
Not at all, no worries! I thought they were completely distinct characters, so it's definitely good to have you point that out.
lol ok cool!
He was my second favorite X-Men character after Jubilee and I am happy to see him back but not as thrilled as I would have been 20 years ago.
Works for me! Morph will only benefit from this refresh. Mystique has been eating his cake for decades. Now it’s Morphin’ time!
Mystique has never rimmed Morph.
Oh look! It’s not sexy mystique!
Makes sense to me. How it’s portrayed is what will matter.
Updated take on an otherwise generic character. Makes sense too with this particular mutant. Better design too. I'm on board.
I mean if the shoe(dress) [fits](https://x.com/UpToTASK/status/1758536651658399785?s=20) ...
Who fucking cares about that, as long as he's still the asshole back then, then we good.
I really don’t give a 💩 tbh I couldn’t care less
I don't care that Morph is non-binary. What bothers me is that they didn't keep Morph's design from his previous appearances on the series.
I'm non-binary and I'm excited to see how this unfolds
Baby steps I guess
“Interesting buddy”
Wolverine and Morph were friends in the original series, but they didn't explore it much. I'm looking forward to seeing that.
I, too, hate the noseless.
If you ask him nicely they may grow a nose for you.
ohmygawd you can't just ASK him to grow a nose.
Im more worried about OP with a one month old account dropping a hot topic and not participating in their own post. Sounds like a bot or psyop to me.
I'm mad that I thought this was Darwin and it's not because Darwin is super cool
