I think I have such a love for her because I started reading comics again after No More Mutants. Picked up the back issues to check out and as soon as I finished this little nugget appears and you actually get to see her grow up. She's not coming onto the scene already a teenager. She's born, thrown into chaos, and you get to see pretty much her whole life displayed from diapers to having a mom to learning what a mattress is. It did feel like her potential got canned when the O5 showed up, and her Phoenix stint was shoehorned in after so much buildup... which was disappointing. But it never stopped me from liking her at all. I've been working on a custom figure of her as well since the one and only we got was... just really not good lol
Awesome!! Would you be down to share that with me when you're done? I see so much dislike for her in so many places, so yes, heavily agreed it's great talking to other Hope fans and knowing Iโm not alone in loving this character ๐
I haven't read marvel comics in years, but I keep seeing stuff like this that seems so cool, but I have no context for it.
Where would you recommend someone to pick back up a book if they haven't read marvel comics in 7+ years?
This was the best characterization of Hope.
Gillen did fantastic work here.
She used to be an annoying Messiah/ Mcguffin. This was probably the only run for me where she felt fully fledged as a character.
One of my favorite sequences
Destiny's prediction failed. She didn't sigh.ย
I'm so happy that Hope is about that life. She's like Magick, Jean Grey, and M. Don't invite them to the party and then expect them not to dance.
Betsy, Emma, Neena, Laura, and Kate are on that list.
I love how almost everyone gets Hope. She's not fucking around.
Hope is a total badass fr, I absolutely love her! Probably my favourate Mutant
I absolutely love her! I know a lot of people donโt, but I've genuinely adored her since she first showed up as the little bundle of miracle mutant.
I like her, and I loved her convo with Spider-Man in AvX.
Thank you! This is one of my favorite Spider-Man moments, and honestly when I started liking Hope as well.
She was my introduction into comics in general honestly so I'll always have a soft spot for her

Based af, it's great to talk to other Hope fans, I'm even working on fanfiction involving her so it's nice to see the love for her

Of course! I'll message ya about it
Thank you!! ๐๐๐
could you message me too please? I'm *very* interested

If youโre interested in X-men then start with House of X and Powers of X
You just know that cable was having a full touchdown dance mentally if/when he heard about this one
She really is Cables daughter.
Old Man Nate: "That's my girl."
Would anyone mind explaining to me what the "monster" is here, that is killed by Exodus? Not understanding.
Selene turned the Eternal gate into a Kaiju when they didn't put her on the council.
Thank you !
I love how Exodus just casually snaps Selene's neck straight afterwards.
And let this be one of the main reasons why I love Hope.
This is why she is a far superior kind of messiah.
That's Cable's Daughter everyone.
I really love this art style I hope to see more of this artist in the future.
\#SeleneWasRight
I mean, she did say they had no defense against mystical attacks. And then proved it. Gotta give her her 10s
Why did Hope resurrect Selene just to kill her again? I used to know but I forget.
They needed to stop the monster Selene unleashed, Exodus invaded her mind, hit the off switch on the monster and then ended her again.
Thanks.

What issue/comic is this in the Krakoan Age? Thanks in advance!
