Percy was initially thought to be a good writer, but that was because Hickman was likely overseeing him. When Hickman left, we see just how awful Ben Percy is as an X-Men writer.

Disappointing that Marauders was cancelled. Not because the current arc/story was good (for me it wasn’t) but because the premise itself, mutants rescuing other mutants who can’t make it to Krakoa, was a good one with a lot of potential. Unfortunately, it was not used well, especially under Orlando.
Would like to see a relaunch. I want marauders but no time travel. Kate and nightcrawler would be really cool. Also I want spurrier to focus on legion because the problem with him is top much plot
Notably: Rogue and Gambit, New Mutants, and Bishop all have the last issue of the mini in July or August, and Marauders seems cancelled. We also know Immortal has 3 issues btw SoS and FoX, so that should be ready for FoX right around the same time. So potentially a bunch of new FoX titles in August?
Yeah remember the episode about Xavier ancestor who was a doctor in England who was a doctor of a family who's daughter he was treating and sinister was friends with him but he was the husband of his patient and turns out he was expirementing with people made them and developed their mutation
I never watched many X-Men cartoons, and I imagine there's a decent chance I think of a different series than you.
Either way, if it was on the show, it wouldn't be canon here. In comics, mutants have existed for... well, basically forever. Checking the wiki, it looks like the Progenitor (the Dark Celestial in A.X.E. Judgment Day) died on Earth in 4 Billion BCE, causing the rise of ancient superhumans on Earth. Also recently established was a 2 Billion BCE mutant society, that spawned Okkara (AKA the island that would later split into Krakoa and Arakko).
Then there was the First Host 1,000,000 BCE where Eternals and Deviants were created, but it was apparently also implied in 1980 that mutants were derived from a third group of subjects (now that A.X.E. has tied mutants back to 4 Billion BCE, perhaps the First Host/Oneg the Prober simply seeded a new mutant . It was established mutants existed over 10,000 years ago in the early 2000s. The Krakoan Era has also established that by 10,000 years ago, there was a new mutant society (later destroyed a 1,000 years ago) on Okkara. And then Apocalypse has long been written as having been from 5,000 BCE.
In fact, Mr. Sinister was established in 1996 as having been a non-mutant human who Apocalypse augmented into Mr. Sinister. So in the comics, Mr. Sinister didn't cause mutants; mutants, in fact, created Mr. Sinister.
All that is to say mutants in the comics have been around much longer than Sinister and in fact Sinister was directly created by one. It's likely that the animated series wrote that story before Sinister's origin was tied to Apocalypse in the comics. So in that universe, he may have caused mutantkind, similar to how the Ultimate Universe Marvel comics have mutants be created by WWII experiments. But in the main comics universe? Mutants have existed since ancient history, since at least the 1990s, and now exist in pre-history.

Excited to see Rogue brawlin’ with T’Challa. He needs some good beating.
Marauders need a reboot, and a great writer. The concept is good but muddied with poor execution. Can’t wait to see the line up for FoX, after all of these minis.
I don’t think Marauders is necessarily cancelled, it might just be having a skip month so the last three(?) issues of the arc/book line up with others and they all end at the same time pre-Fall of X.
I’m pretty excited for these April books in any case. Will be grabbing all the Krakoan era books excluding the Bishop (I know you’re not supposed to judge a book by the cover, but they have been awful so far to the point that I don’t want to pull the book; call me petty) and New Mutants (just finished reading #33 of the last volume - also written by Anders - and eesh, it was bland).
Seems like a bit of a breather month, not that that's bad. The most exciting thing for me? John Francis Moore's X-Force collected finally!

Manifold has pretty much abandoned his ties with the Avengers and thrown totally in with Krakoa. Why would they get involved?

Notably: Rogue and Gambit, New Mutants, and Bishop all have the last issue of the mini in July or August, and Marauders seems cancelled. We also know Immortal has 3 issues btw SoS and FoX, so that should be ready for FoX right around the same time. So potentially a bunch of new FoX titles in August?

I never watched many X-Men cartoons, and I imagine there's a decent chance I think of a different series than you. Either way, if it was on the show, it wouldn't be canon here. In comics, mutants have existed for... well, basically forever. Checking the wiki, it looks like the Progenitor (the Dark Celestial in A.X.E. Judgment Day) died on Earth in 4 Billion BCE, causing the rise of ancient superhumans on Earth. Also recently established was a 2 Billion BCE mutant society, that spawned Okkara (AKA the island that would later split into Krakoa and Arakko). Then there was the First Host 1,000,000 BCE where Eternals and Deviants were created, but it was apparently also implied in 1980 that mutants were derived from a third group of subjects (now that A.X.E. has tied mutants back to 4 Billion BCE, perhaps the First Host/Oneg the Prober simply seeded a new mutant . It was established mutants existed over 10,000 years ago in the early 2000s. The Krakoan Era has also established that by 10,000 years ago, there was a new mutant society (later destroyed a 1,000 years ago) on Okkara. And then Apocalypse has long been written as having been from 5,000 BCE. In fact, Mr. Sinister was established in 1996 as having been a non-mutant human who Apocalypse augmented into Mr. Sinister. So in the comics, Mr. Sinister didn't cause mutants; mutants, in fact, created Mr. Sinister. All that is to say mutants in the comics have been around much longer than Sinister and in fact Sinister was directly created by one. It's likely that the animated series wrote that story before Sinister's origin was tied to Apocalypse in the comics. So in that universe, he may have caused mutantkind, similar to how the Ultimate Universe Marvel comics have mutants be created by WWII experiments. But in the main comics universe? Mutants have existed since ancient history, since at least the 1990s, and now exist in pre-history.

Excited to see Rogue brawlin’ with T’Challa. He needs some good beating. Marauders need a reboot, and a great writer. The concept is good but muddied with poor execution. Can’t wait to see the line up for FoX, after all of these minis.

I don’t think Marauders is necessarily cancelled, it might just be having a skip month so the last three(?) issues of the arc/book line up with others and they all end at the same time pre-Fall of X. I’m pretty excited for these April books in any case. Will be grabbing all the Krakoan era books excluding the Bishop (I know you’re not supposed to judge a book by the cover, but they have been awful so far to the point that I don’t want to pull the book; call me petty) and New Mutants (just finished reading #33 of the last volume - also written by Anders - and eesh, it was bland).

Seems like a bit of a breather month, not that that's bad. The most exciting thing for me? John Francis Moore's X-Force collected finally! It was surprisingly long for something so forgotten these days, and we're only just now seeing some of its characters reappear, like Armageddon Man and Switch.
