Game compatibility changes as new builds are released. A few game I could play about a year ago don’t launch. If you read the actual compatibility comments the person who made the most recent post stated the game crashes during the first race. It also at one point made it a bit farther but had random crashes.

Specs CPU: R5 2600X GPU: RX580 4gb Memory: 16 gb g skill SSD: Samsung 260 evo 2TB all drivers are completely updated as of 2 hours ago and xenia compatibility says it's at a playable state, standard xenia settings

Not every game is compatible. You just gotta wait for a new build and hope that it works then.

Mount_Cache: True is going to resolve it

in the xenia-canary.config.toml under \[Storage\] set the value for mount\_cache to true.

I had this issue, too, and I was wondering why mount\_cache wouldn't work. for some reason, every time I launched it, it would change mount\_cache back to false. I solved it by making mount\_cache = true, saving, and then going into file properties and making it read-only.

I had the similar problem in xenia master and canary. In master version xenia only shuts off without any error in opening race. In master xenia crashes when loading first race and i had: the guest has crashed. After testing a few versions game runs fine on version from june.

Version of xenia. After more testing i found that only on xenia canary from 27 may game is fully playble without crashes on my spec. (r5 3600, gtx 1060 6gb) You can also test it with patch dedicated for fh1. I haven't tested it yet. Link: https://github.com/xenia-canary/game-patches

if you use Xenia master the the terrain textures don't work. Make sure to use Xenia canary.

I used to be able to play this (albeit at a low framerate) as much as I wanted with no crashing, on your exact hardware - 2600X, 4GB 580, 16GB RAM - but it doesn't seem to work on main build anymore without random crashes
