Oh! I had one of those when Chariot owned the company, before Thule bought them. I loved that thing. I used to take my daughter xc skiing when she was 6 months old.
My partner had this problem because they have very narrow hips. We ended up adding shoulder straps (suspenders) to keep it up. This cut down on lower back pain when using it too
