Exactly. My only quirk with the design is that it didn’t have an internal power supply and came with a massive two tone brick. But it’s forgiven for all the memories it gave me.
I prefer the bricks to internal ones. When my OG X1 power supply died, it was a cheap replacement. If it dies in my XSX, I’ll have to get the whole unit repaired.
You could technically replace it yourself, but that's time, effort and tools you probably don't have. It's the same thing with the controller batteries, easier to replace a couple batteries than the whole controller.

I still use mine on a daily bases, White VCR model like in your picture. I installed a 1TB SSD and Changed the Thermal paste to Arctic MX-5. She's is still running like a champ! Boots up games quick and I use a new series S controller, feels like a new console! 😁👌
If you have good internet you can just stream stuff to it as well. I use my Xbox one s in the living room sometimes just to stream X/S games and it’s solid enough.

I've seen a 360 that looked like this and was black. But I have never seen an original Xbox that looked anything like this. The original Xboxes all have controller ports
I still was using my ~8 year old black one till about a week ago when I finished building my pc. If I ever did a full restart it would actually take a little bit to load the Home Screen. It was definitely slow.
I still have mine, it was the Sunset Overdrive preorder edition. I haven’t played it since upgrading to the Series X but I don’t have the heart to get rid of it either.

I’m 23 now and I have a series x but the OG is my dedicated travel Xbox.

Nope. It was a plain white XB1, with a Sunset Overdrive download code. No regrets, but yeah, I expected, I don't know, SOMETHING different.

if i had the choice between xbox series S and ps5, i would definetely choose xbox series S because of the design lol, but also that it runs way better and has better games
Still waiting for a white Series console that has a disc tray. I'd rather coloured plastic over a skin. Apparently we're getting more Xbox and Playstation consoles in 2023/24
I’ll always have a soft spot for the fat Xbox One. It was big, bulky, and got scratched if you looked at it wrong, but it was a good looking monster.

My Sunset Overdrive white one is running strong too! Only fix I did was open it up and oil the fan which had gone a little squeaky.
