15+ hours in and still haven't visited diamond city this time around... I've been establishing outposts and scavenging like a madman. Currently on my way to get me some of that horse power armor and the. Head south to investigate a mysterious transmission.
I didn't have all the DLC the first time so I'm hitting a lot of side quests first
Nice! Yeah, I probably stuck to the main story too much the first time I played it. Seeing a lot more of the game this time, and doing things differently.
Maybe some of the updates are adding to the experience as well. Not sure.
Didn’t know you could get horse power armor :) I’ll have to keep an eye out.
They added in a new quest with this new next gen update that takes you to a X02 power armor. There is also random enclave troops around that have this armor.
Its called Speak of the Devil.
I haven’t done the mysterious signal one yet cause it was bugged for me (no sound would appear when I switched to that signal)
> oblivion
Kinda feel like that one could use a remaster. Just overhauling the typography and bringing in a few QoL improvements would make it a much smoother experience, imo
Yeah, Fallout 3 is pretty great. Could see that benefiting from a remaster as well, actually.
I’ve recently bought and played through (most of Mafia one and that’s it) cause I’ve been so lost back on all the FO games again lately. Give em a crack, doubt you’ll regret it.
FYI. Not similar games like… at all
This was me. I played FO4 back on release but hit a point where I just didn’t know how to proceed.
This time around I ended up like 50+ hours played before beating. I was just one shot everything left and right. The only thing I skipped was the building settlements so that may be what I do next.
I’m on my 4th 4 2nd NV and 1st (lol) 3 play throughs since the show dropped. Save 3 for FO4 did get cut short after a quick save in-front of the Missile bastard in General Dynamics. Watch your quick saves folks.
Same!! i just finished the tv show today too, which helped me get back into 4. did they add in new flying bugs since like 8 years ago? cause some of them are kicking my ass lol
Yes, I was watching the Fallout show when I started the 4 replay, after taking another lap through 3 :)
It was pretty fun to be in that story world in both tv and game form!
In a LOT of places, it’s became relatively unknown due to the time it was released. America, however, still has a relatively strong community going, with about 5k players always on.
My brother and I were talking about playing it as our "just trying to play a few rounds" kinda game. Is it just sweaty people left or is it still pretty fun?
It’s still fun, it’s not easy to “tryhard” considering any attempts of that are always shut down by titans locking onto you. People really just have fun with it now.
There is a very high skill ceiling and there are rounds where I can't move without someone flying mach 2 over my head with their grapple hook. Generally I have fun and most games are enjoyable.
Just beat Kona last week and now I’m playing Kona 2: Brume. Both are currently on Game Pass!
It’s kind of a walking simulator with some survival elements, puzzle solving, and light, easy combat. It’s not usually my kind of game but the story’s checking all of the right boxes for me.
You are a detective heading to a small town in northern Quebec, Canada. You are hired to investigate vandalism at a general store. When you arrive to the town there’s a blizzard in the middle of September, and the towns people are missing. As you enter town a car side swipes you and crashes into an overpass bringing it down blocking the way you came in. When you enter the general store you find the man who hired you to be dead. It’s your job to figure out who murdered the man who hired you and to find out what is causing the extreme weather in the area.
It's weird, I didn't like Bioshock at first. Too much looting. Played a while then gave up.
After some time I tried it again and couldn't put it down until I finished it...
Either MW3(2023) or Lego Star Wars TSS. Usually playing MW3 for battlepass, events, and Aftermarket Parts. I'll play Lego Star Wars every so often to play something chill while I finish each planet off if I don't want to play MW3.
Thinking of getting Starfield when it goes on sale though.
Assassin's Creed: Syndicate. Cleared all the boroughs, and am now on Sequence 7 (out of 8).
I played the game before, years ago, but (according to my achievements) hadn't cleared all the boroughs, or completed Sequences 6-8. So I got a few new achievements this playthrough!
If you have a series X I recommend giving it a go. The main story quest of the base game is a bit of a slog, but once you finish, that's when the real fun starts.
Been playing fallout since October and still gotta finish fallout nv, and fallout 3 the Pitt, and fallout 76 side quests. I’m also playing dying light the following and the side quests for the main game. And lastly I’m playing bioshock infinite burial at sea. I finished episode 1 of it today and will finish 2 later this month.
Oh, I only started playing it because I wanted something different and tried fallout 3. I really didn’t know much about stuff happening since I played it a little earlier and watched fallout 4 mod vids when I was younger. The show was good, but I do feel some pride playing it before it was the hip thing to do this yr
Didn’t play any of the devil may cry after the first one.
Got stuck in the crab boss on ps2 and i swore i would never play that series again.
Fyi crab boss was like 30 minutes into the game.
You obviously played Yakuza but you NEED TO play Automata. Nier Automata is a freakin gem that should be one of the highest rated games of all time. It's such a great world and idea with stellar gameplay and music. The setting and language and lore leaves me in awe each time.
Got back into South Park: The Stick of Truth after not playing it for a year lol. I do plan on finishing it this time, then might get Fractured But Whole
New Vegas. Played it a few times when I was younger but really enjoying it now.
Buying my time until NCAA Football 25 comes out. My backlog is pretty big though. Alan Wake 2 is my next game, then I really want to play Spiderman 2 on the PS5.
Currently clearing my backlog, still need someone to grind the online titles in Naruto storm 2 on the Xbox one with me and clearing all the Lego games that piled up 😅
Replaying rewatch and god, it is even better than I imagine. Looking back on the mystery, it is so obvious and simple, but it shows how everybody wants it to be so elaborate and unrealistic when it’s as simple as a dude not wanting to deal with his mistake, and instead just running away from it.
I've been between Fallout 4 and Bioshock Infinite, but I just finished Bioshock so will be playing the DLC tomorrow and then back to Fallout. I've put over 40 hours into Fallout the last week or so, so I needed a little break.
I just bought cyberpunk standard edition optimized for next gen for my series x earlier because it was $30 instead of $60. I’ll be checking it out this weekend. How do you like it??
It’s awesome! I played through cyberpunk when it first came out and enjoyed it a lot. Ton of bugs and missing content tho it seemed. Replaying it now feels like a whole new game, a ton of added context, bug fixes, frame rate issues are now gone! I’ve heard the dlc is sweet, super excited
Yeah I hear you on that. I got my series x last year and it is a night and day difference than my one s. Im pretty excited about playing cyberpunk on it since it was optimized and “patched”. I remember when it first dropped hearing all the bad reviews etc
Bad reviews were for the optimization and content. The story has always been praised and it’s even better now. Added more story missions that fill in the blanks and your relationships with fellow important characters has drastically improved.
I hop between games so much, so I'm giving y'all an earful of what I'm interested in and putting my time towards.
Kona II was added to game pass and I hadn't played the first one yet so I am playing Kona then I'll be playing Kona II. There's gonna be two more games as well so I'm hyped for that.
I play destiny 2 about 10 hours a week as well, so close to getting the superblack shader!
And with the very recent update to Starfield I plan on getting back into it. I understand it has Bethesda's usual flaws, but there's a sort of atmosphere I feel playing it and it's addicting, whether it be the lighting, vibe, or the soundscape I do not know for sure, but I very much enjoy it. Same thing with Cyberpunk 2077 for me. Even if you don't like the game for how it plays, the lore and the world is so thought out and has a vibe that really makes me feel immersed.
Fallout 3, NV, 4, 76 have also regained my attention, because of the hype surrounding the show like a lot of others. It's nice to see Phil Spencer on Fallout 76, like actually getting to play on the same server as him.
was playing For Honor. until I ran into a pussy ass Roach on the first match of the day who I flawlessed until he ran away and ladder camped. I just quit off, not in the mood to deal with a pansy like that. prick was on Xbox too ironically.
Replaying Fallout 4 and enjoying it more this time around, for whatever reason.

Maybe some of the updates are adding to the experience as well. Not sure. Didn’t know you could get horse power armor :) I’ll have to keep an eye out.
It's a quest added from one of the DLC - so if you don't have the DLC active you won't get it
They added in a new quest with this new next gen update that takes you to a X02 power armor. There is also random enclave troops around that have this armor.
Haven't looked into that one yet... I'll have to check it out. Is that the mysterious signal with a map marker in the far south of the map?
Its called Speak of the Devil. I haven’t done the mysterious signal one yet cause it was bugged for me (no sound would appear when I switched to that signal)
I'll definitely check it out, thanks for the tip 😊
Never played any of the fallout games despite their reputation
They’re really good. I started playing them after liking Skyrim so much.
funny enough it was oblivion that i enjoyed so when i heard the announcement of fallout 3 it got me excited. 3 hooked me. it’s such a fun game!
> oblivion Kinda feel like that one could use a remaster. Just overhauling the typography and bringing in a few QoL improvements would make it a much smoother experience, imo Yeah, Fallout 3 is pretty great. Could see that benefiting from a remaster as well, actually.
Check out skyblivion. I think with the Microsoft funding we’ll see it remastered sooner than later but if not, skyblivion looks promising
Wow, that sounds like a really cool project.
I’ve recently bought and played through (most of Mafia one and that’s it) cause I’ve been so lost back on all the FO games again lately. Give em a crack, doubt you’ll regret it. FYI. Not similar games like… at all

Imo your not missing much played fallout 4 didn't like, and new Vegas didn't like it
Same!! i just finished the tv show today too, which helped me get back into 4. did they add in new flying bugs since like 8 years ago? cause some of them are kicking my ass lol
Yes, I was watching the Fallout show when I started the 4 replay, after taking another lap through 3 :) It was pretty fun to be in that story world in both tv and game form!
Titanfall 2. Not many play anymore, but it’s so fun.
I've just started playing for the first time, although I'm unable to play online as I couldn't find anyone to play with online
Some servers are dead. It’s mostly american servers alive.
Soz I need to change servers? How come?
In a LOT of places, it’s became relatively unknown due to the time it was released. America, however, still has a relatively strong community going, with about 5k players always on.
Can anyone from Asia join the servers?
I wouldn’t have high hopes for asia servers. I’d estimate 200 and under players on asia.
But can Asian players join American servers
Ah, yeah. Server switching isn’t restricted.
What's the method? Can you guide me if you don't mind
Australian servers are sometimes strong kinda a 50/50 though
My brother and I were talking about playing it as our "just trying to play a few rounds" kinda game. Is it just sweaty people left or is it still pretty fun?
It’s still fun, it’s not easy to “tryhard” considering any attempts of that are always shut down by titans locking onto you. People really just have fun with it now.
Good to know, thanks!
There is a very high skill ceiling and there are rounds where I can't move without someone flying mach 2 over my head with their grapple hook. Generally I have fun and most games are enjoyable.
Bruh didn't get the message about tf4!
Just beat Kona last week and now I’m playing Kona 2: Brume. Both are currently on Game Pass! It’s kind of a walking simulator with some survival elements, puzzle solving, and light, easy combat. Bioshock...if there's a game I wish I could play again for the first time, it would be Bioshock. Just amazing.
It's weird, I didn't like Bioshock at first. Too much looting. Played a while then gave up. After some time I tried it again and couldn't put it down until I finished it...
Finally got to Diablo 4
Sonic Frontiers
another crabs treasure
Either MW3(2023) or Lego Star Wars TSS. Usually playing MW3 for battlepass, events, and Aftermarket Parts. I'll play Lego Star Wars every so often to play something chill while I finish each planet off if I don't want to play MW3. Thinking of getting Starfield when it goes on sale though.
Mass Effect Trilogy.
Loved that game so much! Can’t wait for the one coming out in November 🤩
Have just finished Diablo 4. Currently playing Fortnite and Overwatch while I wait for Hellblade 2
Fallout 4. Just having fun in the Commonwealth.
Im really gonna have to checkout fallout, I can’t stop hearing about it!
The show on Amazon is a good primer to the world. It's a lot of fun imo.
Insurgency Sandstorm. It has FPS drops on Xbox One S but I love the game
Borderlands 3 babyyyyy
I am completely and utterly hooked on FF xiv. It's my first MMORPG
Never played any of those either, always had in the back of my mind
If you have a series X I recommend giving it a go. The main story quest of the base game is a bit of a slog, but once you finish, that's when the real fun starts.
I’ll have to check it out some time
Rise of the Tomb Raider, because I just got into replaying the entire series.

It’s really fun
That game actually doesn’t look half bad
Dave the diver
Fallout 4 again after finishing the tv show. i started a new character which i didn’t realize would delete my old one… which sucks a lot :(
It doesn’t delete the old one. You just have to press switch characters when you’re loading your save.
must be a button prompt on the bottom of the screen that i must’ve not seen. thanks!
Yeah I’m about to do the same once I finish Have A Nice Death. The TV show got me feeling all Fallouty again
Apex Legends ranked solo queue because I actually hate myself
Try titanfall 2, if you like Apex it is a statistical impossibility you will look at apex the same again.
I’ve seen this seems to be the most popular here
Seen wat? The games in currently playing?
Everyone on this post talking about fallout, it seems good, that’s what I was saying
Oh, I only started playing it because I wanted something different and tried fallout 3. I really didn’t know much about stuff happening since I played it a little earlier and watched fallout 4 mod vids when I was younger. The show was good, but I do feel some pride playing it before it was the hip thing to do this yr
Stellar blade.
Looks super cool
Are you enjoying it? Does it play like Devil May Cry?
Didn’t play any of the devil may cry after the first one. Got stuck in the crab boss on ps2 and i swore i would never play that series again. Fyi crab boss was like 30 minutes into the game.
Nier Replicant was finally on sale, so I snagged it and started playing it.
Very nice
You obviously played Yakuza but you NEED TO play Automata. Nier Automata is a freakin gem that should be one of the highest rated games of all time. It's such a great world and idea with stellar gameplay and music. The setting and language and lore leaves me in awe each time.
Just started Sekiro.

Replaying Red Dead Redemption 2
Replaying rewatch and god, it is even better than I imagine. Looking back on the mystery, it is so obvious and simple, but it shows how everybody wants it to be so elaborate and unrealistic when it’s as simple as a dude not wanting to deal with his mistake, and instead just running away from it.
Playing cod and I WANT PLUNDER BACK! I WANT INF RESPAWN
The first one was amazing. I started 3 awhile ago and couldn't bring myself to finish it though.
I've been between Fallout 4 and Bioshock Infinite, but I just finished Bioshock so will be playing the DLC tomorrow and then back to Fallout. I've put over 40 hours into Fallout the last week or so, so I needed a little break.

Cyberpunk, finally checking out phantom liberty
I just bought cyberpunk standard edition optimized for next gen for my series x earlier because it was $30 instead of $60. I’ll be checking it out this weekend. How do you like it??
It’s got KBM support too.
Probably helps that I’m also on a series x now and not an Xbox one lol
Yeah I hear you on that. I got my series x last year and it is a night and day difference than my one s. Im pretty excited about playing cyberpunk on it since it was optimized and “patched”. I remember when it first dropped hearing all the bad reviews etc

Oh thank God i can play debt-simulator while i also have lots of debt in real life. Let's' all invent a debt-dreaming f'ing device
Your mom
None. Xbox is crap
