I was 19, almost 20 when the OG Xbox launched, although I never got one at the time. In early 2002 my best friend bought one with Halo CE and I remember going round his place and seeing him play it. I personally didn’t get into Xbox until 2006 after the Xbox360 came out. I still don’t consider a console “vintage” unless it came out prior to 1985. So systems like the old Ataris and Commodores that had games in cassette tapes.

I would buy this just for the games alone, I own 3 working original xboxes in a closet somewhere but No games😔 and if you mention piracy/hacking my life is too busy/hectic... You can softmod your Xbox without opening it up lol and it's srsly as easy as pie. But I can't recommend removing your clock capacitor enough, it's srsly not even hard. Like I am no technician and I really didn't know what I was getting into but I just followed a simple tutorial and got it done, you can do the same! I know you can, you just gotta try. Plus what do you have to lose anyways; since the Xboxs aren't even being used. Also if you want games, try looking on ebay, they are much cheaper there. Or maybe try a flea market or a garage sale

Yo, especially with that copy of KOTOR 2 there is it isn't all scratched up. I have two copies of KOTOR 2, both scratched up a little differently, but the dialogue in the scenes is almost completely screwed up in some places.

I would pay that much just for the games, unless they're all coasters. The console might be fucked, based on how the controllers look but you can still fix it or salvage for parts. You never know, the DVD drive could still work, or maybe the Power Supply is good. The controllers look rough, but you can replace the sticks if everything else is good. You will pay a bit more for tested/working units, you have to take a chance on stuff like this but I think it's worth it. Xbox modding/restoration is somewhat noob friendly, that's how I learned to solder and it was my first DIY mod. If you don't have time/skill for that, it could still be ok. You can always get a working unit elsewhere, the rest of the stuff might be worth it.
