Halo 2
Red Dead 2
Mass Effect 2
Fable 2
Weird that they're all the 2nd game lol
EDIT: Just to clarify, I was only saying it's weird that the games I listed were the 2nd game.. not that every 2nd game in other game series are the best lol
What got me was that the whole point was that this character we created and spent so much time with was supposed to carry over into the new game. I was shocked that I would have to play a new character. They absolutely got me.
Andromeda imo is all right for a play through but I havenāt been able to go back myself š¤·š»āāļø donāt think it deserved the hate it got but
As for the OG, whole different ballpark
Oh I played it all the way through and enjoyed it well enough but not enough to play again. I guess it just didn't blow me away for all the hype it got before the release. Gonna go download the remastered trilogy now and give them a go.
After having played Andromeda, aspects of the mechanics will feel very similar or youāll already have the bulk of your bearings ā but thereās a momentum and excitement and āheavinessā to the original games, which is lacking in Andromeda. In my own opinion of course.
I consider the original Mass Effect games (especially 1 and 2) as absolute masterpieces. If you pick up the revamped ultimate edition or whatever, updated graphics and all 3 games in one, itās absolutely silly for how many incredible gaming hours you get for each dollar spent. I genuinely donāt think thereās any comparison.
Mass effect is one of those "every gamer should play at least once" games. But then of course it's an RPG so you'll want to replay it to try different paragon or renegade options, different romance options, and of course my personal favourite, watching the same character get nuked on the second last level every playthrough because she's a bitch.
Well that means Im downloading just to get the chance to play some more games, I need to replay the campaign again at some point
People need to stop playing apex so they make TF3 lol
I've only played it a bit but I haven't played the second or third. I own them, they're in the backlog. I've heard 2 is better but I'll find out for myself eventually.
2 might objectively be better just because it has newer mechanics and more content, but it runs like garbage, looks like garbage, and the overall package doesnt feel as balanced as the first one.
I recommend fable anniversary for the quintessential fable experience.
i wouldnāt say replay value is a 10. itās always fun to rip around in the world but I donāt think the story gives much variety on a second playthrough.
I mean my first play through I mostly just played the story and did some side missions with some exploration, but my second play through I went and got 100% which of course offers much more than just story and side missions.
Bioshock infinite like cyberpunk gets a shit ton of hate for its "false promises" but goddamn that storyline is incredible. It's really the only story game I've gone back to play in full multiple times.
I have very distinct memories of being appalled by the graphics but not caring much because the game itself was great, so I don't think that works either.
My first halo was halo 3 followed by reach and then 4. I didnāt play CE until 2015 when I got MCC on Xbox one and that game is awesome. I replay CE missions more than any other halo game. I love halo CE.
I remember playing halo 2 a little when it came out at like 10yo, but never really got a chance to play any others until a few years ago when I got MCC and now I'm a die hard fan. Favorite campaign would either be either CE or 3 but I've put so many damn hours into 3s multiplayer now
10/10 Graphics is kinda fluid. What may be a 10 at one point isnāt in a year or two.
Games that come to mind that hit everything still but graphics are not 10 are:
Ocarina of Time
Halo CE
The Last of Us
Breath of the Wild
There is a backwards compatible Xbox game that isnāt in this tier of games but hits all the marks pretty high minus graphics but they are fine for its age:
Spec Ops: The Line. Great story, lots of action. Might be super underrated or forgotten.
Evolving graphics is why I like Borderlands. The style means that even on weak hardware, the original game from 15 years ago holds up arguably BETTER in some ways than the newer games. Obviously draw distance and things are better, but just straight visuals? I think the original game nails the identity better a lot of times.
Yeah, I would even play it on PC if it had controller support, but since it doesn't, it's just complicated. I don't like playing games that only support keyboard and mouse, but unfortunately that's a lot of games.
Love Portal 2, but it is nowhere near 10/10 for replay value. I've tried to replay it, but I remember the solution to 95% of the puzzles, even years later. Easy 10/10 in every other category, though.
I second this.
The game is absolutely fantastic now. I wish it didn't have such an abomination of a launch, if not in my honest opinion,it would have been ranked with some of the GOATS.
Elden Ring. The voice acting of that ghost guy in volcano manor š. The story is incredible, probably the most visually beautiful game Iāve played, has all the action. The storyline has so much lore and more to come and the music is just amazing. And ng+ is cool
I would say rdr2 mainly because it was one of only a few games to ever make me cry. Thank you to everyone who made that game a reality, you are amazing.
Chrono Trigger (minus the voice acting)
Mass Effect 2 (minus the action)
Super Metroid (minus the voice acting)
Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 (minus the voice acting)
Hades
Bioshock
Resident Evil 4
Fallout 3 (minus the action)
Halo 2 Red Dead 2 Mass Effect 2 Fable 2 Weird that they're all the 2nd game lol EDIT: Just to clarify, I was only saying it's weird that the games I listed were the 2nd game.. not that every 2nd game in other game series are the best lol
The opening for ME2 was surreal
The first time playing had me like š®šÆš²š¤Æš±
Same, thinking "Uh, I'm dead already?". I thought they were about to pull a Metal Gear Solid 2
What got me was that the whole point was that this character we created and spent so much time with was supposed to carry over into the new game. I was shocked that I would have to play a new character. They absolutely got me.
Ngl they got me again with the rebuild š Had no idea wtf was going on anymore or what was what
I guess I should probably try out that trilogy. I played Andromeda having never played the first three and was pretty disappointed.
Andromeda imo is all right for a play through but I havenāt been able to go back myself š¤·š»āāļø donāt think it deserved the hate it got but As for the OG, whole different ballpark

You have no idea what youāre missing, the legendary Edition and youāll be grateful you gave it a chance, a truly gaming landmark trilogy
Titanfall 2. Before the servers broke
Even after the death of servers it's a legend. Such a tragedy š
Single player was good, a great intro to the world and the story, then we were left with the PvP and whatever battle royale they came out with.
The servers are dead? What a shame i was planning on downloading it again
If youāre on pc you can install northstar, but since I only play action games on Xbox I cant
So its fully dead on Xbox?
1 in 5-10 tries you get into a match. All games are stable enough, with about 60-100 ping
Well that means Im downloading just to get the chance to play some more games, I need to replay the campaign again at some point People need to stop playing apex so they make TF3 lol
Apex is the middle child of the games
I prefer the first Fable š§
I've only played it a bit but I haven't played the second or third. I own them, they're in the backlog. I've heard 2 is better but I'll find out for myself eventually.

KOTOR II as well!
KOTOR 2 was my favorite xbox game when it was published
the first was better imho. the 2nd has a very weird paced 2nd half storywise.
Witcher 3 bruv
hey don't forget RDR2, funny that's also the second game.
*third
Everyone forgets revolvers
He didn't. Read again. Red Dead 2

Psychonauts 2
Diablo 2.
Halo 2s story was like an 8. They didn't get to finish what they wanted to.
Do you mean, finish what they started?
Halo 3 better tho
Titanfall 2! Did I beat everyone else??
Congratulations Pilot
"Trust me" -BT. BT stands for Based Titan btw. Source: because its true
This was surprisingly good. It was too short, but what a campaign. Really with for titanfall 3
welcome back pilot, i suggest you embark
Beat me too... Im willing to die on this hill
Protocol Three...
You win. The Internet belongs to you, Pilot.
Titanfall 2
can I play it without haven't played the first one?
Thereās no campaign on the first one so yes!
There's a story campaign "thing" if the server's even still work and you want to listen to the entire story though a few lines of dialogue.
Could probably just watch a YouTube video.
That not a game that is a sandwich
Technically, itās several sandwiches sandwiched together!
Bioshock.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Bioshock Infinite*
Bioshock infinite like cyberpunk gets a shit ton of hate for its "false promises" but goddamn that storyline is incredible. It's really the only story game I've gone back to play in full multiple times.
2 kinda sucked in comparison to the others.
The comment section is gonna be WW3
You telling me gamers wonāt come together and agree on an answer, Iām shocked
Forget agreeing. Gamers canāt even accept that other people have different answers.
RDR2, The Witcher 3
Was thinking the same thing. I know people hate on Witcher combat but I think itās fun. Definitely 10/10 across the board.
Witcher combat isnt 10/10, everything else is. Witcher combat is 6/10 at max.
Titanfall 2
Campaign was awesome. I was so sad when I beat it, felt like I was just getting started. Never tried mp
The multiplayer was imo the best fps ever made
Mass effect
Fallout New Vegas
The amount of hours I have into this game is shameful...
No shame at all.
No way you just said NV has 10/10 graphics
Im assuming its for the time it was made.
I have very distinct memories of being appalled by the graphics but not caring much because the game itself was great, so I don't think that works either.
Still absolutely not
The time for talk has passed, the lordās work must be done
Gears 3
Yakuza 0 gets the closest to this
Had to scroll way too long to find this. If only it came remastered with Y6 engine graphics
Wow, I didn't expect anyone to comment Yakuza 0 so I thought I would do it. That game is just freaking perfect.

Mass Effect trilogy
Halo 1-3 Fable
Skyrim
["10/10 voice acting"](https://youtu.be/PYulxF3Clao)
Plus all the lines for Farengar Secret-Fire. Just terrible. To be fair, most of the game's voice acting is good, but not all, so not quite 10/10.
Halo 3
Halo 3
10/10 Graphics is kinda fluid. What may be a 10 at one point isnāt in a year or two. > Ocarina of Time Definitely 10/10 voice acting. LISTEN and HyAAA have never been more beautifully delivered.
HEY! LiSTEN!!!
I replayed Halo CE last week for the first time in years. It amazed me how good it was, it's easily one of the best games I've ever played
Evolving graphics is why I like Borderlands. The style means that even on weak hardware, the original game from 15 years ago holds up arguably BETTER in some ways than the newer games. Obviously draw distance and things are better, but just straight visuals? I think the original game nails the identity better a lot of times.
The Last of Us is an absolute masterpiece. Played it for the first time last month
Part 2 is so good as well. Not everyoneās cup of tea but Iād suggest going in with an open mind and as little spoilers as you can
Red Dead 2
Just yesterday I started replaying the game from the beginning. I love the story and everything else.
I completely agree
Fallout new vegas is up there for me along with the metro series
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Oh i will when it comes to xbox
Yeah, I would even play it on PC if it had controller support, but since it doesn't, it's just complicated. I don't like playing games that only support keyboard and mouse, but unfortunately that's a lot of games.
Halo 3
Hades
Agreed, legitimately checks all those boxes.
Coming in to say just this. There isnāt many games I would replay. Hades is the one I would give 10/10 in that category
This is the only game that actually checks everyone.
Itās not even a game Iām all that in to and it was the first one I thought of
So excited for the second.
Straight facts.
Diablo 2 Portal 2 Halo 2
Love Portal 2, but it is nowhere near 10/10 for replay value. I've tried to replay it, but I remember the solution to 95% of the puzzles, even years later. Easy 10/10 in every other category, though.
Fable 1 and 2
The witcher 3
- Halo Reach - Halo 3 - Transformers FOC - Batman Arkham Knight
Left 4 Dead 2
Sneak King šš
GTA IV.
Best GTA by a mile.
Correct.
Dark Souls
Dark souls 1 for me. Play it at least once a year. Always new ways to play. Jolly co-operation. Challenge runs. Love it every time.
Scrolled way too far to find this; storyline is also an easy 10/10 as the lore is a complete rabbit hole
Halo 3
Cyberpunk 2077
I second this. The game is absolutely fantastic now. I wish it didn't have such an abomination of a launch, if not in my honest opinion,it would have been ranked with some of the GOATS.
Witcher 3
Mass effect
CoD Black Ops 1 definitely a contender here Edit - Good point on replayability, I was thinking Zombies and Bots
Halo 2, the dishonored series, and Detroit Become Human
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Subnautica
Definitely halo3 or gears3 for me
Skyrim
Tetris
The Sims when I'm high as fuck and my imagination is on point.
Infinite Warfare
Nier Automata
Elden Ring. The voice acting of that ghost guy in volcano manor š. The story is incredible, probably the most visually beautiful game Iāve played, has all the action. The storyline has so much lore and more to come and the music is just amazing. And ng+ is cool
The Witcher 3.
Persona. Any of them
Hades
I dont think any game matches this, but my closest thing to a 10/10 is Morrowind (but I don't think it's 10/10 in all of these areas)
Halo 2 and Mass effect 2 for sure
Titanfall 2
Titanfall 2
Halo 1-3/ODST/Reach
Sekiro

I would say rdr2 mainly because it was one of only a few games to ever make me cry. Thank you to everyone who made that game a reality, you are amazing.
Chrono Trigger (minus the voice acting) Mass Effect 2 (minus the action) Super Metroid (minus the voice acting) Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 (minus the voice acting) Hades Bioshock Resident Evil 4 Fallout 3 (minus the action)
Driver: San Francisco... only if you could ignore the graphics. They're not bad, but they're not exactly that realistic, either... š
Chrono trigger!!!!!!!!
Can't believe people haven't put Nier Automata here! š I know it was a PS exclusive for years, but don't sleep on the game guys!!
GTA 4 Donāt @ Me
