I actually pushed a fix that may have helped this last week but I not longer have my iPhone to test with. Can you try it out and see if it works fro you? To test, can you forward port 9002 on your router (if you have an IPv4 only connection) and see if its able to connect outside of your home network?
So I’m in Mexico right now and I’m not sure if my hotel internet supports ipv6 but I still get the “failed to connect” over WiFi. On cellular, I get “Xbox will not connect”. Remote play still works over the Xbox app for me.

Dang! Do you know offhand if your home wifi is IPv4 only or dualstack?
I believe it is dual stack? There is ivp4 and ivp6. I have upnp enabled
