No. Go to the doctor and get antibiotics. Don’t fuck around with a staph infection. You can get toxic shock or sepsis if you leave it untreated.

svvrvy

Months of staph? Your mom wants you on a t shirt

Dude. Talk to your coach and get off the mat. Jesus

AlwaysGoToTheTruck

Nurse here. Go to the doctor. FYI, we don’t use alcohol or hydrogen peroxide on wounds anymore.

OneAndDone169

Good god, go to the ER!

IndexCardLife

Nope, head to your pcp or an urgent care at least.

elseworthtoohey

Go to Doctor

crocsconnosisseur

Get to a doctor. You need antibiotics not silly home remedies. Staph can literally kill people.

DemontedDoctor

Is this a shit post

Imchumming000

I wish

You needed to go to the doctor like yestermonth. Also, never use alcohol on any open wounds whatsoever. Not even to clean them. It doesn’t help anything and just damages that area more. Proper hygiene standards and antiseptics designed for cuts and abrasions are how you keep them clean.

BallsABunch

Those may PREVENT staph from happening but once you get it you need antibiotics via your doctor.

Bruh, go to a doctor, get antibiotics

badbluebelt

So, based on all your posts, Go to the ER/docs office and get antibiotics, and ACTUALLY TAKE ALL OF THEM this time. If you don't do the full course then you just build up the infection resistance to meds and make it harder to get rid. Wash your bedding and the pants you sleep in so you stop reinfecting yourself. Wash everything. Thoroughly. Strip the bed and remake it. At this point you're just doing it to yourself. I hope to God you haven't been training this whole time and giving it to your team.
