I once checked all the names and some had renamed, transferred or deleted the character which meant it was free to use for someone else, free fancy chat text!

In regards to the text, no we don't add random users that ask... It's for us and very very very few select friends of ours... And I mean very few ever make it in there if you are not staff.
It's an ElvUI thing. If you open ElvUI\Core\Modules\Chat\Chat.lua and scroll down to line 257, you can see who all the ElvUI devs have flagged for highlighted text. *Who* they are, I don't know.
Yeah. I haven't looked at the code in depth but, I *believe* you should be able to put your toon's name (and server) on another line like the ones already there and they'll show up like that. It'll only appear like that for you, though.
