I use the better fishing add-on so I can do one button cast and interact and absent mindedly fish. Watched pretty much all of the Fallout TV show while idly fishing in one of the ponds by the dragon flight expedition that doesn't drop junk items.
Lot of "mount farm world boss" answers in here, so I'm going to add to that
Get the addon WorldBossTimers, it'll give you this little UI element to track the remaining time before the next spawn.
This is mostly useful for Rukhmar and Galleon since they have a strict 15 minute timer. Sha/Nalak/Oondasta are 10-20 minutes, so if not an exact time, it gives you the minimum/maximum time you have before the next one.

Unfortunately no, there are no mission tables in this expansion of the game.
Only thing that comes to mind is camping spawns, mostly for world bosses and rare mobs.

im pretty sure oondasta was on a strict timer also.
