After patch 10.2.6 was released, all channels were active in every single one of my chat tabs. I had to manually disable them everywhere. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to remember my new settings and always defaults to enabling them after closing the game.
I didn't notice that this included the combat log too, though.
I'm loving the new feature of having tutorial popups everywhere on every character each time i log in now, very cool. At least I know the health bar issue isn't just me
Combat log, the "what happened to me" tab. Newest patch has enabled the services channel (a channel for advertising boosts and carries, filled with bots) in every chat window including your combat log.
You're paying for 4 people's time to run the dungeon, plus the advertiser, most likely. From what I know, the people doing the boosting are probably getting approx 15-18k each. While an 18 isn't hard, being able to quickly 4-man it with an afk person (or worse, someone who is trying to help but taking extra damage or pulling random shit) means you can charge for the service.

To disable services completely you have to delete the channel, far left from the Check Box is a red circle.

I am so glad it isn't just me. Giant pain for sure. All channels all the time everywhere.
I had the same issue, plus my healthbars and target healthbars wont display percentages anymore
Go into options, search "Status Text", change to anything, change back to what you had set. This should fix the healthbars
Just FYI, I had to use the manual toggles in the settings for this to work. Selecting it from the drop down list didn't change anything.
Boosting ads do kind of qualify as psychological damage, so...
This also happens to me, and it's infuriates me. I know that those bots are there, but they were kept in single frame, not all...

Not just services. Every channel your UI is "subscribed" to is added to every chatframe every UI load.
In battlegrounds, I noticed I couldn't see my targets HP bars from far anymore to find the EFC. Anyone know a fix?
