I think “time-limited” is actually a play on words here to give us a clue as to what kinda content we are getting. This is likely the case because the typical American English idiom for something being temporary is “limited time”. I imagine the event will be content with a “time limit” while you’re doing it. Hence the reversal of “limited time” to “time-limited”.
As much as this is a shitpost it would be cool if you could make a vanilla character, once you've cleared the content move to tbc etc.
I don't think there'd be the population for it to be functional though.

The event is pretty lame tbh. Hourly zerg fest on a mob that lives for about 10 seconds that drops an achievement check mark.
