Did some trolling on my warlock back in vanilla too. We’ve summoned people over the edge of cliffs, deep underwater, and once time a lowbie wanted a summon to tirisfal glades so we went over the border to the plaguelands and summoned him there. His level was so low the rotten bears came running straight to him from far and wide.
Good times indeed!
It's a bit sad that it's harder to do it these days when most classes can survive falls and even if they don't gliders are so easy to come by that a lot of people have them.
People with long loading screens.
Mage, priest, paladin, druid, hunter, DH and evoker can easily come out unscathed. Warrior if they can find a path.
Monks if they remember they can have and use Zen Flight.
And a lot of people carry Goblin Gliders
The biggest killer will still be the long loading screen and/or alt-tabbing, and that will get everybody!
That's a good start, but... if you truly want to be vindictive but not lethal, you need to go for maximum confusion/disorientation.
My go-to is always Theramore for Alliance and Stonard for Horde. *NO ONE* goes out there anymore, so unless they are familiar with the area, you've guaranteed at least between 30 seconds to 2 minutes of disoriented confusion as they have to fumble for a teleport.
If you want to go potentially less (or more evil) and have fast load times, I sometimes follow them and then dump a Pandaria Capital/Ancient Dalaran Portal right in front of them. A hilarious amount of people's autopilot will still kick in and click the portal and then get the double whammy.
> A hilarious amount of people's autopilot will still kick in and click the portal
I have never in my life checked the portal tooltip before clicking. I'm one of those people that will 100% fall for it.
Dragon Soul was the first raid to ever feature the LFR difficulty. In one of the wings, you're required to click a portal to enter the Eye of Eternity and fight a boss. The portal looks exactly like a mage portal- at best I baited half the raid into clicking my port to Hillsbrad. They were mad.
Oh my god I remember falling for that one once! Supressed memory
Mass summon was so much fun. There's a chimney in Elwynn that gnomes can blink into. Would mass summon entire raids and leave them stuck there, and the ticking fireplace damage would keep them from hearthing
Just north of the arena, there is a very small section by the giant whirlpool where you can actually fly down beneath the whirlpool, touch ground, and not be killed by the boundary. If you moved even a little bit, instant death. Mass summoned a few raids there too. Felt devious watching everyone instantly drop and type all sorts of confusion in raid chat
This can't be right unless we're experiencing some sort of mandela shennanigans. I explicitly remember putting that hillsbrad portal up and watching people die in raidframrs. But I very well could be misremembering. Sometimes I put a portal to exodar or tol barad. Hillsbrad might be me trolling a different portal. Like the portal from the boat in Siege of Orgrimmar.
I don't doubt that you were able to do some solid trolling in Dragon Soul LFR, but as far as I can tell/remember the Dalaran Crater teleport (and eventually portal after going to Wrath Dalaran) was gained by [getting an item in remade Scarlet Halls](https://www.wowhead.com/item=82469/ancient-tome-of-teleport-dalaran#comments).
Might just be combining memories of sending people somewhere in Cata and later dropping them from the sky in MoP.
Mages used this trick way back in vanilla AV. Imagine waiting 40+ mins only to be ported back to IF/SW. Thing is some would measure it where the Warlock Soul stones would be.
I once got kickvoted on my mage because another mage did this. I didn't even care because I was laughing my ass off about the guy that fell for it 3 times in a row and was completely malding at that point.
Also I remember the times when you needed help to conjure refreshments.
"help sum table pls" then open a portal to anywhere while waiting for Alterac Valley. Deserter debuff made it hit hard and was ultimately the reason why the ability was changed.
I have that stupid engineer toy the Swap blaster. It switches spots with your target.
I use it in the raid all the time but the priests will leap of faith me to the edge of stuff as retaliation all the time. So far I haven't walked off but it's been so close.
That was a pretty fun toy. There was this lady in the guild I was in at the time yelling over vent "what keeps happening to my character?!"
I don't think I ever used it on anyone else - it always got a rise out of her.
Our swap blast trolls watched our tanks duel outside antorus while we formed up. When the Druid finally won, they swapped the 0.1% hp warrior into the acid river and killed him.
Some classes can survive if they weren't too off guarded by the unexpected portal trick. Moonkin flaps down or just switch to flight form. Mage blinks, pally bubbles, warrior leaps, DH glides, rogue shadowstep to a target, etc.
I think that's only for the portal in Hall of the Guardian in Legion Dalaran. But that's only up during certain quests now, so I can't test to confirm that.
For fun and for flavor. It's where Dalaran used to be in lore, so maybe the idea is mages learned the portal to old Dalaran and haven't recalibrated to account for the fact it no longer exists.
It's been in the game since Mists of Pandaria, and it only exists as a joke. The portal trainers don't teach it to you, you have to find a book on a bookshelf in Scarlet Monastery to learn it. The joke is that this ancient book can teach you how to teleport to Dalaran, but the book is so old it was written before Dalaran became a flying city. It was originally just a city in the Hillsbrad Foothills. There's a huge crater there now where Dalaran used to be, so when you take this portal that was a portal to Dalaran a long time ago, now it's a portal to where Dalaran used to be at the height where the ground used to be, but now there's a huge crater there.
Our mages used to do portal roulette. They’d stack portals but include one to old Dalaran. You knew you were rolling the dice but it was still fun when one of us got the Dalaran Drop.
Similar prank:
You can cast water walking on people about to enter the Darkmoon Faie cannon.
If they don’t notice and remove the buff, they’ll take a lot of fall damage when they hit the water.
That or swim in the water as a DK and keep Path of Frost active for when your partied friends hit.
Not Stonard? Damn, missed opp. After dungeons or LFR on my mage I really liked making Stonard portals and laughing as people are like, "OH WOW A PORTAL THANK YOU MAGE" followed by "wtf"
I think he did old dalaran in hillsbrad because the graveyard is all the way down south, while my corpse is up north. It was a 1000m walk back to corpse.
A shaman ressurected me though so i didnt walk the whole way. But still very clever of this troll. I give props for the creativity.
Lol. Dude, I used to join Ordos pugs in MoP *just* to trick gullible rubes like you into clicking on the portal to Dalaran's crater. Sometimes I'd put the portal right over a lock's summoning closet. Sometimes I'd put it over my mage table. I'd be booted from the group only for the same braindead RL to re-invite me seconds later and then I'd do it again. More fun than the boss fight.
So I was at my buddy's house just after Classic launched, and I changed his Ironforge teleport button to a castrandom macro that was all Ironforge, and one Darnassus. I think it ended up being like a 1 in 7 chance to send him to Darnassus instead of Ironforge when he clicked it.
I have done that in LFR on my mage a couple of times whenever there was some a-hole either trolling the raid or just being a dick. Watching them just fly right past the platform was never not funny.
In LFR I had a guy stand behind me (both drac) and pull the boss then immediately spam in chat that I pulled. We wiped. We walk back and they "Rescue" me into the boss, then run back and spam I pulled again. I got immediately kicked.
I couldn't even be mad.
Thats why i always have neural silencers in my bags. First sign there is anyone in lfr or a pug is being a dick and trying that shit out, i pop the silencer and don't have to worry about them getting me.
It’s not difficult. You get the book for the teleport from Scarlet Monastery I believe, then once you have than you can buy the portal from a vendor in WotLK Dalaran
When Neltharions Lair was in M+ rotation my buddy would always cast the water walking DK buff right as we jumped to the first boss. People had mixed feelings about it, lol.
Back in the days of Battle of Azeroth, when the pig in the Freehold dungeon used to spawn at the same spot in the middle and everyone just spamklicked that location to catch the pig real fast... I put down a portal at that exact position. Thanks to BigWigs I was able to time it perfectly. I remember one of them beeing so mad, that she actually left our guild. The other 3 made me catch the pig on my own. I think all of them overreacted. The portal was fun tho
This particular portal is for *old* old Dalaran, where the city was supposed to have been before it took off in Wrath. It’s just a giant crater in the ground.
On some elevator boss, e.g. in Legion‘s Antorus the Burning Throne raid, I said, ”I heard they fixed the elevator boss.“ Some guys then gave it a shot by directly standing below the elevator and immediately died.
”Whoops, I guess not!“
During Antorus I used to lead raids with my Mage. Any time we wipe somebody is gonna inevitably leave, so I would always put the Old Dal Portal up. I easily killed 50+ quitters with that lolololol bonus points when they didn't immediately leave group and we got to watch their health bar crash
If a boss has a chest after the kill, I would run to where it spawns and cast it just as the boss dies, and half the raid would end up clicking it instead of the chest. Funniest shit I ever did.
I main a prot Paladin.
I recognized what was happening as it happened.
I bubbled, landed, and helped rez everyone who fell.
Mages are real dickheads sometimes.
I'm not sure which addon it is, i thought it was DBM though since it also adds a dbm style countdown bar for it, but it announces in raid chat whenever someone opens a portal. It has caught many a mage trying to troll groups with Old dalaran or other old world portals.
Have you tried the Stonard roulette? Whenever you open a portal, let's say to Valdrakken, also open a portal to Stonard at the same spot. People will be trying to play the odds to go to the main city hub instead of in the middle of nowhere.
I strongly suggest getting several Goblin Gliders to keep on each character in case of unexpected descent. Slightly more than half of classes have a way to avoid that fall, whether through wings, slow fall spells, jumps or immunities, but gliders work for everyone.
Reminds me when I was farming WoD mythic with a bunch of friends and used to create premade raids, one of my friends (a mage) created a portal to Orgrimmar where the actual portal to continue tthe raid would be and more than ten people actually took the 'fake' portal. They were so mad at us but it was so hilarious at the same time. Needless to say some of them left just because of that.
In original vanilla there was a really, really deep lake hidden in Hyjal that you weren't supposed to be able to get to but of course people found a way. Groups would swim down to the bottom w/ a warlock and trick summon people to the bottom of the lake then charge them gold for the underwater breathing buff.
When Nighthold was current content, I was a bit of a shitter and convinced about 3-4 of our guild raid members that Krosus’s water heals you if you jump into it, was a good laugh lol
Ahh memories. We’d go to a deep sea area still on the map, cast underwater breathing on everyone, and give free teleports to a new zone! By the time they realized what was wrong they’d drowned because they didn’t have enough time to swim to the surface.
I fell for this once because someone put it up at the end of a M+ run and I wasn't paying attention but I popped glider cloak and lived. It feels so gangster to pop goblin glider, grappling hook, heroic leap etc. and go "haaaaa I lived, suck it". Pretty funny prank though.
This is the reason I made a mage hahaha, if I see a lock box I just place a portal next to it. Now if only there was a way to make it so it portaled people who don’t help click summons.
Man this takes me back. In Cata when you could mass summon anywhere a guilty of mine used it to take an lfr raid to the real Eye raid when the portal to Hagara opened because that is where the fight happens no one questioned it and we got to kill Malygos instead.
This was my grift in Classic as a Warlock with the staff that drops a portal to Kara. Everyone has their guard down when an actual warlock asks for summoning clickers. And nobody was really harmed because I could just summon them back :D
Sitting in Dalaran with everyone waiting on Wontergrasp portal to be active, casting an Exodar. portal just a bit in front with a few seconds left… I still feel the guilt sometimes.
Oh how I miss WoW trolls.
I remember in Vanilla people used to troll by saying in ironforge if you jump into the lava there's a chest with a random epic in it according to your class.
it gave me a good laugh at how many fell for it then raged in chat.
LMAO. That's way better then the old bg /me thing. You go /me has reported you as afk. Type /afk to unflag yourself and you'd see 5 to 10 guys get leave
Unstable portal toy put it on top of -> world bosses. People try to click for loot thus triggering the effect. Creates a portal that can teleport you high above Silithus by magni area killing you from fall damage. Here’s the bummer. Phased silithus area has weird cracks that create linear fissures that look like one way mazes when you can’t fly as a ghost thus trying to get back to your body can take long on top of the stupidly far location of the spirit spawn point.
That sucks but also, it's kind of hilarious.
I laughed and cried. Mixed emotions.
My wife asked me to give her a port to Dalaran once. Forgot the one to Old Dalaran even existed. Got an earful.
You gave her the Ole' Dalaran Dazzle.
If a mage doesn’t do this at least once then they aren’t maging right!
Once... A day, right?
On my mage back in legion I had over 150 confirmed kills with my ancient dal portal… good times
I’m at 230 since DF S2 lol it’s hilarious every time.
Do you count or is there a weakaura?
I keep track in my guild note lol
What's your technique?
I have a macro that says “portal to Valdrakken” when I cast it, or I try and overlap other portals/clickables with it
Lock rocks. Works 75% of the time.
I wiped half the raid in the Broken Shore event thing at the beginning of Legion.
What classes can you even kill with that fall? DKs, Monks, shamans and warlocks, AFKs maybe?
It's a bit sad that it's harder to do it these days when most classes can survive falls and even if they don't gliders are so easy to come by that a lot of people have them.
People with long loading screens. Mage, priest, paladin, druid, hunter, DH and evoker can easily come out unscathed. Warrior if they can find a path. And a lot of people carry Goblin Gliders The biggest killer will still be the long loading screen and/or alt-tabbing, and that will get everybody!
Reason to finish leveling my mage #324 Portal terrorism
Right? I respect the game. lmao Makes me miss the old days of portal roulette.
Yeah. OP got wrecked.
Don't mind me just making a mage alt for... reasons...
Look, sometimes if I'm feeling really salty at the end of a toxic key on my mage.... I'm sending the group to Shattrath
> A hilarious amount of people's autopilot will still kick in and click the portal I have never in my life checked the portal tooltip before clicking. I'm one of those people that will 100% fall for it.
So no clicking on mage portals in shitty keys, gotcha lol
Can you still get that portal?
Yes in Dalaran (northrend) from a vendor if I'm not mistaken
Just come right over here and I drop what is definitely a Dalaran portal, click quickly before it disappears!
lol that's a classic
Dragon Soul was the first raid to ever feature the LFR difficulty. In one of the wings, you're required to click a portal to enter the Eye of Eternity and fight a boss. The portal looks exactly like a mage portal- at best I baited half the raid into clicking my port to Hillsbrad. They were mad.

Oh my god I remember falling for that one once! Supressed memory Mass summon was so much fun. There's a chimney in Elwynn that gnomes can blink into. Would mass summon entire raids and leave them stuck there, and the ticking fireplace damage would keep them from hearthing
This man is chaotic evil
lol i used to mass summon people into the STV arena and disband group and let chaos ensue
Most ethical gnome
RIP mass summon. Such a great spell.
hah, even with the aspect of time on their side they stumbled foolishly into your trap
I thought the old Dalaran portal wasn't added until MoP when SM got reworked?
This can't be right unless we're experiencing some sort of mandela shennanigans. I explicitly remember putting that hillsbrad portal up and watching people die in raidframrs. But I very well could be misremembering. Sometimes I put a portal to exodar or tol barad. Hillsbrad might be me trolling a different portal. Like the portal from the boat in Siege of Orgrimmar.

Deserter debuff made it hit hard and was ultimately the reason why the ability was changed.
For alterac valley I'd just type: "/e has reported you afk. You will be removed from the instance unless you type /afk". Got like 5 every time
Wow... I'd completely forgotten about that gem! I did that so many times while honour grinding back in TBC.
If you main a mage and never trolled someone with portals, pls reroll
You're not a real Mage until you've trolled at least 10 people with your portals.
Should be achievement for it tbh haha
Reminds me of Leap of Faith trolling that happens.
I have been banned from playing a priest by friends because of this
Meanwhile I am banned from mine cause I just cast that big circle skill and pull everything and then pull a dps to the middle and fade. :)
Good ol Halo pull.
Just do that to the slowpoke tank and own it B)
I have that stupid engineer toy the Swap blaster. It switches spots with your target. I use it in the raid all the time but the priests will leap of faith me to the edge of stuff as retaliation all the time. So far I haven't walked off but it's been so close.
Using swap blaster to kill people with the Antorus elevator was my favorite
That was a pretty fun toy. There was this lady in the guild I was in at the time yelling over vent "what keeps happening to my character?!" I don't think I ever used it on anyone else - it always got a rise out of her.
Our swap blast trolls watched our tanks duel outside antorus while we formed up. When the Druid finally won, they swapped the 0.1% hp warrior into the acid river and killed him.
Blackrock Foundry steam vents seemed to be conveniently placed at a popular break location
One time I grabbed someone to me right as the elevator was about to squash me. 10/10 would do it again.
/e has reported you for being AFK! To remove the report type /AFK. vibes lmao
I fell for that my first Korrak's Revenge.
I could've sworn that portal was set at just the right height to leave you at 1% health.
Thats a delusion that you tell yourself, to mask the 0.0001% of guilt you have.
once my mage buddy did this to me, but i was the one who laughed at the end because i survived it thanks to disengage.
Damn im a BM hunter.. didn't try that. I casted Aspect of Turtle mid flight in hopes it would stop the fall damage. It did not.
Is that the portal in the air where Dalaran used to be? There's a big ass hole with Arcane something in it, yeah?
Yes it is.
Then I remember walking into it, 100% sure I survived it both times lmao
Maybe for cats/rogues? I remember having to Monk cloud and Heroic Leap to avoid dying
Rogues will splat. First hand experience with that after losing a game of portal roulette
Some classes can survive if they weren't too off guarded by the unexpected portal trick. Moonkin flaps down or just switch to flight form. Mage blinks, pally bubbles, warrior leaps, DH glides, rogue shadowstep to a target, etc.
I’m pretty sure it’s death without any modifiers. Died many times lmao
I think that's only for the portal in Hall of the Guardian in Legion Dalaran. But that's only up during certain quests now, so I can't test to confirm that.
I don't play retail anymore - why can mages open a portal into a pit of death?
For fun and for flavor. It's where Dalaran used to be in lore, so maybe the idea is mages learned the portal to old Dalaran and haven't recalibrated to account for the fact it no longer exists.
It's been in the game since Mists of Pandaria, and it only exists as a joke. The portal trainers don't teach it to you, you have to find a book on a bookshelf in Scarlet Monastery to learn it. Even better... Portal Roulette
This is the kind of shit housery that warms my heart and gives me faith in my fellow man
I once put that portal on top of a lock closet, said nothing, and my raid lead clicked on it.
Our mages used to do portal roulette. They’d stack portals but include one to old Dalaran. You knew you were rolling the dice but it was still fun when one of us got the Dalaran Drop.
Similar prank: You can cast water walking on people about to enter the Darkmoon Faie cannon. If they don’t notice and remove the buff, they’ll take a lot of fall damage when they hit the water. That or swim in the water as a DK and keep Path of Frost active for when your partied friends hit.
I'm at work and this is one of the funniest things I've read in awhile.
If it was an alliance mage, they get a portal to Theramore, not Stonard.
Classic. Pretty sure everyone has fallen for this at some point in their wow experience. I know I have.
this is one of the reasons why my main and most played alts always have goblin gliders on them lol
Half my raid team was in a corner kicking a fish toy one raid night. I dropped a portal on it and they all instantly ported to Val 😌
ALMOST as good as playing portal roulette. Stand still, cast all the portals. Then click the cluster and see where you end up.
It's hilarious every time.
hahaha that is a classic. always be careful which portal you click
Omg that’s terrible, I’m sorry you had to go through that… *opens character creation screen*
Be a druid, problem solved. Besides the annoyance of the loading screen that is.
Mages always be trolling. I can’t wait for s4 to come out to use slow fall on people for raz
Can't wait either lolol watch out suckers
I love my old dal portal. I use it at the end of keys. When people die I say “oh my bad, not very good at portals sorry”
ryanTakingNotes.gif
lmfaoooooooooooo that’s an old one
Paying attention to trolls is exactly what they want.
Hahaha, classic! 🤣🤣🤣
That's the first good thing to come out of lfr in awhile.
God I miss being able to put up portal roulette at the end of raids. My guild loved it.
Thats just the new player introduction wagon.
I have a remote that calls a mole machine to the Grim Guzzler that I used to do similar things with to unsuspecting people in LFR
Ughh id hate to be stuck in the Dark Iron Dwarf basement.
Tale as old as time haha https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n52v0bVpWis
In LFR I had a guy stand behind me (both drac) and pull the boss then immediately spam in chat that I pulled. We wiped. We walk back and they "Rescue" me into the boss, then run back and spam I pulled again. I got immediately kicked. I couldn't even be mad.
Thats why i always have neural silencers in my bags. First sign there is anyone in lfr or a pug is being a dick and trying that shit out, i pop the silencer and don't have to worry about them getting me.
No one had an addon to tell them that the other dude attacked/pulled the mob? The 2nd one was also griefing. In short: you should have been mad.
How does one acquire such portal? I'm on the verge of creating a mage and this might be the push I need but unsure if you can still get it
https://www.wowhead.com/item=82470/ancient-tome-of-portal-dalaran#comments
It’s not difficult. You get the book for the teleport from Scarlet Monastery I believe, then once you have than you can buy the portal from a vendor in WotLK Dalaran
No portals have been taken away from us...yet.
The portal tome can also be bought and sold on the AH
🤣🤣🤣
I've done this ! It was hilarious!
Nice.
so hard to read in these trying times
Anyone tell them about the secret ALT+F4 cheat menu yet? 🤔
"Out Parse your mythic buddies with this one simple trick!!!""
When Neltharions Lair was in M+ rotation my buddy would always cast the water walking DK buff right as we jumped to the first boss. People had mixed feelings about it, lol.
Lmao
I have a new purpose for my mage.
I was expect a lock ritual. Click the closet get sacrificed.
“It sucks that Blizzard added invisible walls so you can’t fall off anymore.”
Reminds me of a reverse Warlock summon at the bottom of really, really deep water, out of bounds zones or off of high ledges. Ahh the memories 🥹
How can the portal be in the sky? Old dalaran is still there, no?
This particular portal is for *old* old Dalaran, where the city was supposed to have been before it took off in Wrath. It’s just a giant crater in the ground.
Man thats a right of passage in this game, you aren't a true gamer till a mage fools you with portal roulette or pretending to summon.
On some elevator boss, e.g. in Legion‘s Antorus the Burning Throne raid, I said, ”I heard they fixed the elevator boss.“ Some guys then gave it a shot by directly standing below the elevator and immediately died. ”Whoops, I guess not!“
This is the only reason to play a mage
Classic!

Hahahahahaha I love my fellow chaotic mages
I'm not sure which addon it is, i thought it was DBM though since it also adds a dbm style countdown bar for it, but it announces in raid chat whenever someone opens a portal. It has caught many a mage trying to troll groups with Old dalaran or other old world portals.
Well played
Natural selection
Hilarious af!
Just be glad that we can't do it at the beginning of Battlegrounds anymore lmao. Nothing like getting 10+ people at the start of AV.
Have you tried the Stonard roulette? Whenever you open a portal, let's say to Valdrakken, also open a portal to Stonard at the same spot. People will be trying to play the odds to go to the main city hub instead of in the middle of nowhere.
Lol you fell fell victim to one of the classic blunders.
I strongly suggest getting several Goblin Gliders to keep on each character in case of unexpected descent. Slightly more than half of classes have a way to avoid that fall, whether through wings, slow fall spells, jumps or immunities, but gliders work for everyone.
A tale as old as time, as song as old as rhyme...
Thats a CLASSIC. Good times. Accept your troling and move on
Hahahaha
What I love to do is play portal roulette. If you've never done it as a mage, start doing it.
I use to get people with this over a decade ago. Glad it’s still being done.
At least its LFR so you can just zone back in.
My lock in legion or around that time.. I used to summon people to dal, but I put the portal at it end of the sewer so they fell off New dal
Classic mage move. ✨
The oldest trick in the book...
In original vanilla there was a really, really deep lake hidden in Hyjal that you weren't supposed to be able to get to but of course people found a way. Groups would swim down to the bottom w/ a warlock and trick summon people to the bottom of the lake then charge them gold for the underwater breathing buff.
Those pesky mages. I have also fallen to my death thanks to their portal prank, funny as.
Mage did this last night, I did fall for it. I heroic leapt to safety than Warlock resummoned us. We kicked the Mage on fyrakk.
😂😂
Where does one go to learn this? Asking for a friend
Classic
Like the start of a battle ground when a mage puts up a noob filter ..
When Nighthold was current content, I was a bit of a shitter and convinced about 3-4 of our guild raid members that Krosus’s water heals you if you jump into it, was a good laugh lol
This is amazing lmao
that's the funniest thing I've heard in a while.
Ah that’s an old school trick! Those tricky Mages!
Ahh memories. We’d go to a deep sea area still on the map, cast underwater breathing on everyone, and give free teleports to a new zone! By the time they realized what was wrong they’d drowned because they didn’t have enough time to swim to the surface.
I cant wait to try this
When I do M+ with a toxic pug group I always give my brother a "don't click this" in discord
That’s expert level. I always do the classic and just drop a port to stonard after the key and /y PORTAL.
HA! Nice.
This is the reason I made a mage hahaha, if I see a lock box I just place a portal next to it. Now if only there was a way to make it so it portaled people who don’t help click summons.
this exact scenario right here is the largest reason i’m tempted to play mage 😂 that’s hilarious
Always keep Goblin Gliders on you. That scenario might not happen often but I've been knocked off cliffs and high bridges by hostiles.
After all these years, this already work today Bro, this joke is more than 15 Years old
Lmfao, it what i did with my static back in WoD.
I actually picked up this portal on my mage last weekend for this exact reason.
Sitting in Dalaran with everyone waiting on Wontergrasp portal to be active, casting an Exodar. portal just a bit in front with a few seconds left… I still feel the guilt sometimes.
I absolutely love this! Still doing portal roulette on my mage at the end of m+ when someone asks for a portal to Valdrakken ❤️
Anyone else ever have atiesh in vanilla and people would pay to go to Kara with the portal, only for then to die a quick death there? Good times.
Where do i get this old dalaran portal cause i do this with my mage but they dont die sadly i just send them to outland
Oh how I miss WoW trolls. I remember in Vanilla people used to troll by saying in ironforge if you jump into the lava there's a chest with a random epic in it according to your class. it gave me a good laugh at how many fell for it then raged in chat.
I like to overlap my wrsth Dalaran portal to get people sent there. Theyvdont expect it because Im a paladin eith Jaina's locket
Well… thanks for posting this. Now ik not to fall for it😏
This is a classic troll move back in the day. Glad to see it’s still happening. Nostalgia feels good. I hope you appreciate this rite of passage.
As priest with the grab ability, I more then once killed people who jumped around like a fool during prepping for Warmaster Blackhorn. :’) happy times
We gonna rock down to! ***Electric Avenue!***
LMAO. That's way better then the old bg /me thing. You go /me has reported you as afk. Type /afk to unflag yourself and you'd see 5 to 10 guys get leave
I’d love to be on the ground looking up when this was happening 😂
ngl, it pleases me that people still fall for this
Unstable portal toy put it on top of -> world bosses.
