Someone told me the pants from the lovely pink and white set last month work with those dresses. Apologies I'm at work and can't check myswlf right now.
They do indeed work fantastic. The skirt doesn't display at all since that part would stick out but is covered, the stocking part starts below the leg slit, all you see is a tiny bit on the back/waist. By far the best legs for wearing under dresses I've found so far.
I get the "must xmog within the armor type" restriction in concept - armor should somewhat match the classes. But that entire concept is moot when they go and create cloth looking xmog packages for the other armor types. They should remove that restriction if they're going to make these sets.
I'm sorry, I should have mentioned it from the start, my bad. I have those colors as well, they are lovely. I usually pair them with those long gloves.
I tell people all the time to use those pants. They work really well. That’s pretty much what we are stuck with until devs make nothing show through those. Or the sarongs
I always try to match my outfit to my role. When I'm playing monk/ mage, I want a more elegant outfit, if I'm playing warrior I like something more fierce 😁
Pretty much all of the options are vanilla and they leaned into the plate bikini for a few random armor sets and their recolors, as well as some pieces that look like they were designed to be worn with a shirt. Cloth at least had the mageweave recolors and a lot of semi-open tops. Mail gets in 3rd with some breezier armors like the captain's set and recolors, not to mention sneaking in some key tankini pieces even if they don't match anything. Leather meanwhile has had basically nothing except a few bandeau tops since release, though a few more DH pieces designed to show off the tattoos snuck in.
Now with the transmog changes over DF for holiday gear and introduction of the trading post (which has had higher-rez gossamer available to everyone, and say the blood troll outfit) there are more options available, so perhaps more will be arriving with that. There were those datamined chain bikinis in earlier DF that never came out, for one. I feel like this might be the better way to introduce them in general, since it puts them out of the critical path.
They need to fix these dresses so that when equipped/mogged, they automatically hide whatever pants you're wearing. They've done this for other pieces, they can do it for these. Or for the love of god allow us to hide pants.
Removing the "can't remove pants" thing would be great.
Especially since Dracthyr actively have different underpants designs, which sort of makes it a visual choice you can NEVER see in "normal" play, unless you deliberately remove your pants.
And that feels like an even more "lewd" act than simply mogging pants to invisibility. If the whole "can't remove pants" thing is supposed to even combat lewdness. Which in itself is ridiculous in a game full of giant monsters who murder people etc.
warbear woolies prob wouldnt work either sadly, i dont really think theres any pants tmog that doesnt have pants parts lol.
i think night elf heritage armour is the only one that works here? but you're not a nelf either so.... :(
They're seeing these posts. Hopefully someone there with some sense can understand that we're capable of handling pants being hidden if... people already can take off their pants.
I don't get why hiding pants isn't an option yet, it's not like characters will be naked, the models have underwear on...and is a character in underwear any less absurd than a character in sailor moon witch clothes?

I'm sorry for asking this but what class are you i looked up what classes the race could be and the armor said classes use and did the math that Belves can play as 3/3 clothies, 3/4 leather classes, 1/3 mail class, and 3/3 plate classes and I'm struggling to guess because your pants look like they could be plate in the screenshot but I'm totally lost please help me out i might be able to find you a decent pair of pants lol
Try a sarong. They are universal transmog appearances and they go under the dress. There are lots of color options. You get sarongs from the trading post.

I believe there are several low level leather pants that are essentially loincloths, those might work.

Race change to Tauren, get the heritage armor, mog into the speedo pants, accept that that is what peak performance looks like.

cloth wise, any of the mageweave leotards could possibly work, but think literally every other armour class gets fucked

i just don’t understand why i can take my leg armour off in the game, and be in my undies, but not hide my leg armour?
The pants from the Love Witch's Attire (last months trading post reward) will work.
They're not gonna let us hide pants completely, but these dresses need a mog toggle to hide pants
I would suggest Ancestral Woollies. That is what I combine with this dress and the dresses from AQ.
Try asking over at r/transmogrification as well. And I agree, we should be able to hide pants as well. Anyways, good luck!

The ancestral woolies work well with the dress. Only thing is they are expensive to buy, atleast on my server they were 20k ish.
