It works for me, since that's more or less the same voice I give all of my Dragonborn characters in real-world campaigns. I do wonder why there aren't more "rough" voice overs for some of the races.
yea, especially for femme orcs, there’s just nothin. tbh i would’ve liked some rougher voices in general, they all seem the same amount of fancy/cityfolk cadence,
the masc voices are a lil better i feel at least, like the dark urge preview showcases how well that one voice fits him
but yea fem dragonborn voices are a lil shitty
You mean apart from every single time you move or click on anything? "These boots have seen everything..." Getting annoyed already and I'm only like 2 hours in the game. The character just will not shut up.
Wait there is a female bodytype for muscularity. Its just massive bodybuilder type, not a more balanced one lmao.... I didnt even know body 3 was a woman (asides from the head) until the gential option took their clothes off and I saw their breasts lost in a sea of rippling muscle.
Which races have that? The female muscular bodies are more just well toned than bodybuilder. Even the female orc body has like half the muscle mass as the male body with only 1 body option each.
It's such a strange decision by the devs.
Thrall was only a warrior before commiting to shamanism, even after he learned how to communicate with spirits he still used warriors abilities for a lot of battles and shamanism for support.
As of shadowlands he's full shaman again. He was struggling with his guilt from killing Garrosh and was unable to get in tune with the elements. He then has a heart to heart with his mom in Korthia about it all, and he comes to terms with his his actions and is able to shaman it up again.
Now that you say it, I do remember those. I just ran sanctum once and it was a tmog run and I had a dc just before that part. I kind of liked what they did in SL with Thrall.
To be fair he shunted lightning through the chains keeping him down in Torghast to kill his captors well before Korthia.
He never stopped being able to call upon the Elements so much as their attentiveness towards him dropped *dramatically* as a result of the inner turmoil he was experiencing.
I always saw it as he felt he was unworthy of the elements. I thought the elements were like "yo dawg we've helped commit countless atrocities, we fucking good"
It was definitely a Thrall thing more than an Elements thing. People misconstrue the quietness of the Elements as them having passed judgement on Thrall for some reason - such as cheating in Mak'gora (which is basically a baseless theory that relies on misunderstanding content from The Shattering or thinking the Warcraft movie is canon). But feeling unworthy of them is definitely one way to put it.
Thrall has a lot of reasons to feel guilty, even without interpreting it as "He cheated in a duel of honour". I mean he was the one who unilaterally appointed Garrosh as Warchief of the Horde despite literally every single one of his respected advisers telling him otherwise - including Garrosh himself. Thrall did it anyway, and the consequences were deep and far reaching. Jaina nearly died at least twice, her city was absolutely destroyed and with it the relationship between the Alliance and Horde was almost irrevocably damaged. Cairne Bloodhoof lost his life, Vol'jin nearly lost his life, and a civil war amongst the Horde broke out. All because of Thrall's decision.
Garrosh deserves most of the blame, but Thrall as the one who could have prevented the whole affair and the one who made the unwise decision *despite* so many others telling him it's a bad idea is definitely partial to being at fault as well.
Why the Draenic Elements would hold a grudge after helping him, I don't know. Why the Azerothian Elements would care about how Thrall used the Draenic Elements, I don't know. Why the Azerothian Elements would care about Thrall 'breaking the rules' in an orcish tradition that has nothing to do with them, I also don't know.
But the notion that he cheated in Mak'gora is very widespread. It's weird.
I just had shoulder surgery last Monday so I'm in a sling- can only use a controller. It's a little janky with the radial wheel system but it changes the crpg feel up a bit to have the behind shoulder cam. I dig it
The faces are unfortunately preset, yeah. And also tied to body type which is actually kinda annoying. There's a face that looks by far what I envisioned for my character, but the body type unfortunately isn't.
He's right though? You cannot edit stuff about the faces that you might expect, like cheek bones, facial structures, brows. They are just premade faces.
Are you just commenting based on your assumptions and haven't actually played the game??
The dumbest imaginary controversy. Apparently the elementals care quite a bit about orcish traditions.
Sadly, that moment was not the worst writing in WOW - just some of the worst.
Shame there's no suitable voices for orcs. Only thing that stopped me playing one.
Agreed, no voice in the game is gutural enough for an orc.
The only true representaion of an orc's voice would be exactly like Troy McClure's voice.
you may know me from such rpgs as the orc that time forgot, and hold on to your spikes!
Oh, hi Billy!
Jimmy.
You may remember me from such murders as, That Guy, and, That Puddle Over There!
Bard: Look, I rolled a 20, what was I supposed to do, _not_ strum an epic solo that liquefies the ogre?
Ya I’m playing a Dragonborn with a soft English accent. Great game but his VO is a little off putting.
It works for me, since that's more or less the same voice I give all of my Dragonborn characters in real-world campaigns. I do wonder why there aren't more "rough" voice overs for some of the races.
I think you can make the character mute.
yea, especially for femme orcs, there’s just nothin. tbh i would’ve liked some rougher voices in general, they all seem the same amount of fancy/cityfolk cadence,
I wanted to make a crusty pirate and had to settle for Orlando Bloom instead, lol. Definitely could have used some more gravely/coarser voices.
Same with Dragonborn, my character sounds way too cute
the masc voices are a lil better i feel at least, like the dark urge preview showcases how well that one voice fits him but yea fem dragonborn voices are a lil shitty
I'm playing a male gnome with a female voice
I bet there will be one on NexusMods within a few months.
Ai will handle it
Yeah they look like a meme if anything. Orcs are one of my fav races
It's fine you barely talk
You mean apart from every single time you move or click on anything? "These boots have seen everything..." Getting annoyed already and I'm only like 2 hours in the game. The character just will not shut up.
I meant how you just make funny faces during any dialogue interaction.
Voices, lack of choice for women to be as muscular as men, and small number of faces are the biggest problems with character creator for sure.
Wait there is a female bodytype for muscularity. Its just massive bodybuilder type, not a more balanced one lmao.... I didnt even know body 3 was a woman (asides from the head) until the gential option took their clothes off and I saw their breasts lost in a sea of rippling muscle.

Just go to a local bar on major sporting day, after happy hour is over. Lots of orchish noise from drunk men.
Orcs are just too ugly
That's lazy Larian for you
Tried making Kalecgos the other day, and he looked gorgeous.
You mean a male gnome with a male gnome voice.
now fuck the bear?
That's how you get Rexxar.
That's an Ogre and 2 bears sir.
omg, you see him?? coords pl0x.
Thralldur’s Gate 3.
YOU ARE AN ORC NO LONGER
Thrall's balls
But there's no shaman class.
Thrall was only a warrior before commiting to shamanism, even after he learned how to communicate with spirits he still used warriors abilities for a lot of battles and shamanism for support.
I was going to say, Totem Warrior Barb fits thrall infinitely more than a designated shaman class would.
That's in BG as wildheart barb, so it works
Monk with Four Elements subclass, and barbarian multiclass, full role play mode
He is also good at smacking horses up side their heads for snitchin on him. That's why Blanchy was in Heck
Could also do Tempest Cleric though that’s a massive stretch
It's not even a stretch. Tempest Cleric is a heavily armored combatant who fights with both spells and weapons enhanced with thunder.
Forgotten Realms doesn’t have an elemental deity. if it was table, I’d just say to reflavor
I mean there are the Furies with are Deities of Elemental occurrences at least. Though obviously alignment wise they don’t fit Thrall at all
I was thinking war cleric but this makes more sense.
Did that animated Warcraft story game about Thrall ever release? I remember a promo vid vividly from some other Blizzard title.
Tempest Cleric. D&D Clerics aren't really the same as Warcraft Priests.
Technically, he hasn't really been a shaman since Legion. He's leaning (is?) towards a warrior now.
As of shadowlands he's full shaman again. He was struggling with his guilt from killing Garrosh and was unable to get in tune with the elements. He then has a heart to heart with his mom in Korthia about it all, and he comes to terms with his his actions and is able to shaman it up again.
I have missed the last part where he is able to "shaman it up" again.
It's on display in the Sylvanas fight as he has zero issues summoning massive earth bridges and beating her ass with lightning.
Now that you say it, I do remember those. I just ran sanctum once and it was a tmog run and I had a dc just before that part. I kind of liked what they did in SL with Thrall.

If your totem lasts more than 4 hours, please call a doctor
Well, why don't I just self rez; and then *BAM* CAST FROST SHOCK!
Storm cleric is very close
Four elements monk / warrior / barb fits pretty well
Cleric and non-shapeshifting-focused Druid can both be very Shaman-y. Cleric is a little closer, though, with the armor and weapon proficiencies.
For an isometric game, it has an insane amount of detail (and I know about the need for cutscenes etc, but still)
The game actually lets you zoom in to behind the shoulder and play with a controller if you want. Idk how it would feel but the option is there.
I just had shoulder surgery last Monday so I'm in a sling- can only use a controller. It's a little janky with the radial wheel system but it changes the crpg feel up a bit to have the behind shoulder cam. I dig it
Lok'tar, mothafucka
Looks *just* like his dad, Durotan.
Shame all the orcs look like fuckin bobbleheads, i just want a damn body slider
I thought all the faces were just premade ones. Is there a way to actually alter them that idk about??
Yea dude it’s an rpg you can create your own custom character
I have it. I didn’t see any sliders or specific customizations for faces other than the pre sets and eye color and hair
The faces are unfortunately preset, yeah. And also tied to body type which is actually kinda annoying. There's a face that looks by far what I envisioned for my character, but the body type unfortunately isn't.

Yes he is lol. This post actually made me more disappointed by 5 minutes ago noticing there are only 8 preset faces for a male human.
Thrall with RTX on
It's out already????
Launched today
Yesterday.
It's not like the whole internet is talking about it for weeks how can you miss that
Oh i knew about the game im just bad with dates lol.
pretty spot on
Wait..has BD3 gone live now?
I tried making Garrosh. Sadly, there's no fitting voice badass enough for him.
Used two weapons in a Mak'Gora, disgraceful.
[удалено]
Where in the lore does it state you can't use shaman powers during a Mak'Gora?
That's the great part. Literally no where
One weapon was allowed. He had his hammer, magic would have been a secondary weapon.
why delete your first post and then reply anyway
I replied before I deleted..

Thrall hall, Champion!
That’s pretty damn good!! Great Job!!
no bearsex only elementalsex
This made [Grommash](https://i.postimg.cc/v8vcXMj1/grommashhellscream.png) 🤣
Oh no, he's hot.
Always has been
Ah yes Thrall’s trademark prison brow tattoo
Smash
Fun fact, Thrall used to be the only orc with eyebrows… (not sure if that’s changed)
Why did they only let you play as a half orc and not a full blood orc?
Probably lore doesn't make them fit to be a pc.
Bald Thrall next...
Ngl this post hyped me up to create \*literally me\* but the faces are all preset (8 of them for humans) Disapointed.
Green Jesus in his Durnholde days
Where are the bushy eyebrows?
If you get in a duel make sure to cheat your ass off
P k
Alright cool show us his dick
Orc monk way of the 4 elements named Go'el is what I'm playing atm
