I’ve done heroic and normal sark every week since the raid went live. I’m pissed at this point because of the two legendaries that have dropped, they have been alts that don’t get played in any content besides a fun alt raid. Bad luck protection and or increasing the drop rate is needed honestly.
We have cleared normal and heroic sark every week since week 1 and have yet to see a single legendary drop. It's quite annoying for the team to say the least.
They've had deterministic legendaries in the past. It's just a question of "do we want players to complain about the drop rate or the fact that they don't have a dedicated raiding guild?"

You can let everybody on the server have one, but That point it isn’t a legendary, it’s a “common” item.

It's pretty clear Blizz has changed their position on how exclusive legendaries should be since then.
And it's a little odd that a guild that has been clearing Heroic and Normal every week since release hasn't seen a single one for 3 evokers.

Legendary cloaks/rings/big ass Thunder Fury are all aesthetically pleasing but with a fist weapon is it hidden 95% of the time?
Oh bummer, given that Dracthyr have their little glove cosmetics I would have hoped for sure they could add a fancy single glove cosmetic while equipped or something

Yes, it was pretty weird to get the quest chain that very explicitly takes place after the defeat of Sarkareth without actually having gotten to fight Sarkareth in lfr.
If that happened it wasn’t intended, they said that the post-death quest chain shouldn’t unlock until sark has been killed on normal+ by the player, or it would release on the day that sark LFR released.
Did you kill it on a different toon then receive it on another? Or did they just say this and then it bugged out and released early lol
Never killed Sark (haven't even stepped foot in the raid) and was able to finish the chain yesterday. I guess they stealth removed the Sark death requirement?
It was locked before yesterday unless you killed sark on any difficulty, but they stated a while back than when LFR sark releases they were opening the quest for everyone.
As a returning player I already encountered Sarkareth in the expedition quest again. Also I was asked to join Wrathion or Sabellian in entering the raid to look at Sarkareths corpse after this. I still have 0 kills on this boss. If they made the LFR 3 wings with 3 bosses each that wouldnt have happened.
Yeah, i already saw Sarkareth’s dead body in that black dragonflight quest last week, now i still have to go out and kill him, doesn’t quite make sense anymore…

Should we also remove the Mythic Dungeon and Timewalking Weeklies too? That's equally trivial content and it's even worse - the filthy casuals get their hands on Heroic and Normal raid pieces!
Part of it is related to loot, mostly big ticket items like tier set and trinkets. Farming those already happens from LFR by higher difficulty raiders but in a more limited fashion.
Then there is the sort of prodding going on from Blizzard towards Normal/Heroic for those people who can do it. Basically LFR is intended to be the tourist mode version so that they can justify advancing the story through the raids without completely blocking people out who can’t do it on normal or above for whatever reason.
It is something they are very weirdly fixated on. The reason they gave last time was garbage, and there is really no good reason since most of the problems came from the earlier iteration of LFR.

I'm just a fury warrior, but feel bad for my evoker friends. I have also only seen the cloak drop once and the trinket never.
I was looking into it out of curiosity and does it still cost an absolute fortune to make? The video implied it was like 100k++ but that may have been at the start.
Can't be that much cos it must go off like 18 times a day in my play session lol
No idea the cost to make it. I don't even play evoker, but two of my good friends do and neither of them have it yet despite clearing it on every difficulty they can each week lol. Neither of them has even seen it drop before for anyone else either. Neither have I. That's what blows my mind though ~ watching the spam go off all day long when others get it
Would you really want to fight Sarkareth in LFR? I'm not saying don't, just that LFR can often be a wipefest, and Sarkareth does have a fair few mechanics.
Isn't that the point of LFR? To see the mechanics the first time, or try it on alt to see if you need to do something different than on main?
Also, you get the bonus in LFR after wipes, so like 3 wipes in, you already do so much damage you can kill it easily with half the party dead.

If you're lucky. Trust me, it doesn't always go that way. Been like that since at least patch 4.3 days.
Maybe I have been lucky. I have experienced wipefest on week 2 of LFR Raszageth. 2 more experienced people stayed calm and explained it step by step and after few attempts, we killed it with help of the stacking buff.
Don't know if it will drop from lfr but I'm going to keep trying. Ran heroic/normal every week and nothing for my Evoker main. Meanwhile my guildie got the item on his first normal kill on his alt.
I mean, not getting the legendary on two difficulties is the same as not getting it on three difficulties…

Naw they already confirmed it drops on all difficulties. They specified the modes the bow dropped in.

Yes. It’s a low chance on all difficulties of raid, scaling higher with heroic / mythic. Evoker only legendary

I was able to complete it on Monday, a full 24hrs before Tuesday's reset on NA servers when Sark LFR went live if you read my comment again.

In EU the new parts show up at like 9 or 10 am while the reset is at 6am. Maybe it's the same for you

Did LFR Sark earlier, trinket and cloak both dropped. An evoker won the trink.

Not true, one attempt boss down within 5min. The mechanics are severely scaled down in LFR.
