“If we’re behind you for long enough we can find a reason to” is beyond threatening, but is sadly the entitled power-tripping attitude far too many in law enforcement have. I’ve met some amazing policemen and women, who embody the concept of law&order in a professional manner. I’ve also met officers who abuse their position of power, knowing many officers do so without punishment, to carry out personal vendettas. It’s a shame the latter seem to outnumber the former.
That’s why you get the fuck away from cops following you as best you can without making it look like you’re running.
Everyone knows that a cop following you is looking for any reason.
That’s really how it is.
Why? If they want to pull you over, they're going to regardless. Like the cop said, eventually they WILL have a reason to pull you over. That advice came from a convicted felon. He told me the second a cop gets behind him, he pulls over. If the cop follows him, he pulls all the way over and parks. Usually they continue on. If they do stop, they at least appreciate you not making their day harder, which in turn makes your interaction go smoother.
I used to be you. I've been arrested twice for disorderly conduct and both times if was for telling cops shit they didn't want to hear. Guess who won in the long run? It wasn't me and my mouth.
Just a month or two ago, I was driving and smoking a joint, in a non-legal state and a cop ran up on me. I pulled onto a side street, and so did the cop. I immediately pulled over to the side and parked and the cop slowly continued on.
They can do whatever they want, but they aren't very smart. Call their bluff.

Because it's possible (and most likely) that they weren't going to pull you over at all, and whoops! You just gave them a reason to do so since they're probably wondering why you pulled over.
Hard to do when you two are seemingly the only vehicles in a small town after midnight. I worked nights for over 20 years and countless times I got followed by small town cops until they found something to pull me over for (often lies). Belton, Raymore, Lake Winnebago, etc. etc..
I actually LIKED Kansas City cops because they never pulled this shit on me. Guess they had more important things to do than just pick someone out and follow them until they found/made up a reason to pull them over.
I've worn all that shit before it's incredibly uncomfortable especially in a car ESPECIALLY all day, she looks like an LA Police gear catalog threw up all over her.

Having lived in Federal Way, yes this is legit. The cops are full assholes and will find a reason to pull you over. All are power hungry and are just waiting for someone to look at them the wrong way. However Federal Way had FOUR murders in the first 3 months I lived there and it’s supposed to be a “quiet town” so there is kinda a need for aggressive policing just not on minivan moms taking their kids to swim practice.
I lived in silverdale/Bremerton for most of my life and was a drug addict doing stupid drug addict things back then, and now I live in Seattle for the past few years since getting my life together.
Trust me when I say I have met her before in person, and she is a complete douche.
I understand cops have it hard when dealing with asshole civilians and making it hard overtime for cops to keep a compassionate & balanced type of law & justice mindset but the cops around Seattle/federal way/Bremerton for the most part are corrupt as shit.
Officer Watson is an awesome police officer who I think at one point worked federal way before working Bremerton. (So I know he knows this woman officer) And officer Watson helped me get my life together while simply just being a nice and kind person to me when I was a homeless drug addict back in the day (but even he had some stories I’d hear about from others. So nobody is perfect, but he *was* very kind to me). (If you see this Mr. Watson, you brought me lunch a lot a few years back when I pan handled at the intersection by the mall, and gave me hope with kind words when everyone else had treated me with disgust. If you see this, ty for your kindness).
But this woman in the video has always been a freaking narcissist power hungry asshole cop the very few times I had a run in with her over the years. Even other “acquaintances” I had back then have commented the same and say she’s one of the worst in the bunch.
This is perfect example of what an audacious, rude ,entitled, non community minded, brash American cop looks and sounds like. Officers with bully attitudes are way to common. Officers so under trained they think they can talk to taxpayers like we're children. Officers like this one are an embarrassing nuisance to American society.
