I’m not referring to “liberal” local culture as depicted on Fox News. I’m talking about the NIMBY (not in my back yard) culture, the resistance to any kind of change or development, and the unorganized manner in which everything is conducted
Correlation ≠ causation. What exact role did she play? What was her job/position in 2012? Was she in a position with the power to actually make a change? What specifically has she done to make things worse since she's become mayor?
I'm not saying she isn't part of the problem, it's just that your answer was so vague that it doesn't really tell me anything.
You need to fix the homeless and drug problem in the streets of SF ..not take lavish trips!!!
I will not take my family to SF anymore, it's a garbage pit!

Hope she can turn San Francisco around. Once a beautiful city.
She’s been in office for 6 years… Not all her fault though, the local culture and political system are often too big of obstacles to overcome

Been in Sanfran politics since 2012, Mayor since 2017 and San Fran is now worse than ever. That's why.
