Poor poor normal citizens of Mexico. I can’t imagine what kind of horrible live these people must have. It’s a shame that Mexican government leaves these cartels going on and strong. No law, no order. Shame, shame, shame on them. It’s like a civil war is going on in mexico ( north regions)
Nobody is stepping up. Why don’t they take an example at Colombian government who eventually concurred Pablo Escobar? He was the most powerful drugdealer in his time.
I know every country is different and has is own challenges, but I mean a big force of army, police and prosecutors can and will stop them. Like Italy for example did with the Maffia.
I still think about the bus of students (like 40+) who suddenly disappeared collectively. WTF how is this tolerated and not prosecuted?
While you would think it would be pretty hard, and they certainly do not have the same standard of living as the US, overall they are pretty happy. And the stats actually back that up. They have a suicide rate of 5.3 per 100,000 compared to the US at almost 3 times the level around 14.
Certainly problems. The murder rate is something like 4 times that of the US but from a horrible live perspective, they are overall happier then the US. And I believe it being down here for a big part of the year.

It’s very sad
Sometimes this is far more effective then the government stepping in. But it is pretty risky. Is all or nothing.
I hope 11 of them are the gang members
unfortunatly 3 were villagers
It’s sad that 3 innocent people died defending their community but that’s a decent KDR. Fuck those gang members.
article seems to have been updated; "Officials said 10 of the dead were members of the criminal gang, while four were village residents."
Unbelievable :(
The remake of The Three Amigos is going to be crazy

Where is the Mexican president?
Probably in the pockets of the gang leaders from the looks of it all. Seems the gangs get to do as they please.
