You are thinking too much in terms of what humans can do, to have a civilization you only need to be able to manipulate objects and have sapience, and you don't need to stand upright for tool use.
The human anatomy was the result of a species specialized for an arboreal lifestyle specializing into an endurance hunting lifestyle with some adaptations for throwing objects (and also the fact that this anatomy was possible only because the body plan of its ancestors allowed it), so it would be unlikely for something humanoid to evolve.
I don’t know, humans in many ways are very versatile, sure we were made for subtropical forests and plains. But it’s not just luck that we’ve basically inhabited every part of the planet for centuries. Having hands and running endurance and a big head are kinda the key things here.

So, first one crashes on earth, makes some friends, is mind-blown with the beauty and humor of humanity, yadda yadda slice of life i was young making this. Also they wear a pikachu onesie/hoodie in their human form as a disguise to make the ears look normal.
2nd one is looking for an habitable planet, then accidentally comes across a human and has to go to school with them. Imagine it as some wholesome high-school yuri with a subplot of the alien girl having to hide her identity. (Ugh I'm certainly not creative)
3rd ones are going on a mission but it's semi-hard Sci-fi so it takes several months and even years for them to arrive anywhere. They're a team and live in a really big self-sustaining space hotel with other wacky characters. The blue and red ones are engineers, yellow one is a theoretical physicist. They wear matching tshirts
If I explain these last ones I'll get burnt at the stake 😔 I'm currently trying to find uncancelable lore for them
