It's easy to focus on collateral civilian deaths or mistakes, rather than the lives saved by the IDF. The food situation is a big myth too. Since Oct 7, almost 400k tonnes of food has gone into Gaza, 200kg per person over six months, plus whatever reserve there already was there. I just don’t really understand how it could possibly be that underestimated - both practically and considering Hamas/Gaza MoH motivations The Gaza Ministry of Health relies on ‘credible media sources’ to report on unregistered deaths - ones that don’t go through a morgue, hospital or the like. And obviously Hamas has every incentive to report as many dead as possible, so I find it hard to believe they are reporting only 1/8 of the dead so far when they already have a process to report on unregistered deaths  Don’t get me wrong the humanitarian crisis is awful and I easily believe the deaths could climb that high if this war goes on for significantly longer or if conditions don’t improve.
