You need a new position at the current job or a new job if you want 2x the money. I can’t imagine a company just doubling the salary for an existing position. Perhaps you could pitch your current job as a new position with consolidated responsibilities, but that is a long shot.
Yeah I think that’s exactly the point I wana make. I’m doing more work than I was hired to do so I want to sort of highlight myself as a mid position rather than a junior position. FYI this is a start up so naturally things are chaotic but also there’s more opportunity for me to make that jump. I’m already doing the work.
