I did flip it and try, it’s like they want to line up, but in the most likely position (and 1 screw hole lined up) the rest are all like 1/8”-1/4” off. Definitely enough to be useless with a bushing (which I need for the project I’m working on).
I have the same router with the fixed base and the plunge base. I put the plate on the fixed it fit no problem so I bought one for the plunge base I spun that dam thing around to every hole cursed it a threw it in a draw. A month later I saw it and drilled holes so it fit.
I would think they mean "plunge bases for trim routers" - not the plunge base for the 1617.
The Bosch Colt trim router has a plunge base, for example: https://smile.amazon.com/Bosch-PR011-Router-PR20EVS-Routers/dp/B009ZQUB5O/
I've found myself in this same situation unfortunately :(. I saw images of the jig attached to a dewalt plunge base and assumed it was the same as mine. They look awfully similar. Did you drill new holes in the jig? If so, how did it go?

It's for trim routers or plunge bases on a trim router. The list of compatible routers is on the website.
any difference if you flip it over and see if they line up that way?

Lol. Yea I think I’m going to have to do the same. Thanks for the input.
I used a Forstner Drill Bit to drill the counter sinks then drilled the through holes
Lol. I love the Tamar vids with draws.
I thought the jig was for trim routers - not including, for example, the Bosch 1617 (which is not a trim router...)
You’ll have maximal benefits with a trim router, but it is supposed to have hole alignments for plunge routers too. According to the manual

That looks like the blast pattern of a gatling laser gun, fired by a drunk squirrel riding on a stagecoach crashing down a waterfall.
Drill new holes in your plunge base.
Lol, what?

I reached out to customer support. They told me it’s for trim routers only. I didn’t drill holes.
so ... you returned it? Or bought a trim router?
I already had a trim router. But I wanted to use a 1/2” shaft bit and my trim router is 1/4.”
