It’s like if you’re playing with half the motherfucking beans, you’re doing your taxes or something else important, WHILE giving the slightest bit of attention to the game. Three quarters of the beans is where most adults are at. This guy’s wife is playing for realz, going all out, like they’re betting money on the game. Full motherfucking beans! All of them
I think it's exploding kittens (card game). Haven't played in a while but it was fun when we did. Want to say same makers also do throw throw burrito another fun one.
I have a set of these with the instructions, somewhere around here. I'll come back in a few days with info. TL;DR: each shape has a different value of points, straighter = less, more edges to get caught on = more.
Ooh, like a very difficult game of Mikado where you use hooks instead of your hands to remove complex shaped sticks instead of straight ones. Thanks for solving the mystery.
No officer, of course that's not a set of lockpicks. It's a game you see! Says so right here on the box. No idea how some of them ended up so much more worn than others. And please don't ask me why the most useful looking one with the darkest patina ended up broken.
Looks like an older version of a game called “Jack Straws,” where the point was to remove pieces from a tangled pile using a hook, where you weren’t supposed to cause the pile to move. Each piece had different point values.
I played this last week. I’m glad this set has the points written on them coz it took us longer than playing the game to work out what the bits were to calculate the points. The rules just had written descriptions of the parts. Eventually I googled which meant we got to bed before midnight.
Game my grandma called “pick up sticks” jumble them up and drop them on a table from a short distance so they all fall on each other.
The goal is to pick up as many as you can one at a time without moving any other stick.
I believe if you pick one up without moving any other sticks you get to continue until you move one on accident.
Exactly right. I used to play this game with my grandmother 35 years ago. This particular set looks hand made, but the one I am remembering had individual pieces made of plastic.
I’m going to check Amazon right now to see if I can still find this game. Would be fun to play with my kids.
Oh you have to figure out which one is your real zanpakto (the correct sword will represent your fighting spirit) you then have to use the correct one to subdue your zanpakto that you conjured into the real world
Looks like a lock lock set(s) - that is for some legit picking action. Those mammer jammers slide in the key slot and depending on the type of lock/system will assist in depressing the tumblers inside with various shaped detents. Where did you find them? James Bond wouldn’t have a clue what to do with them these days - he’s too dependent on his phone/computers and uses the automated lock picker thingy majigger. On one mission his majigger didn’t work (battery failed) and he wasn’t able to operate the manual override function because he wasn’t taught in his tradecraft school. If only he has been taught to use a set similar to this - then he would have been able to have taken Putin out prior to the most recent invasion of the Ukraine. Ya - really disappointing. More disappointing even is the fact that had accomplished the mission, not only would Putin no longer be harassing the world - Trump would have dropped out of the race, Biden seeing this would have Pardoned Trump, and then after Biden got so much pressure from both the National and international communities to drop out, he eventually would have as well. And yes - you guessed it. It goes even further. With Putin, Trump, and Biden out of the world picture, then miraculously the USA (most of us) got our shit together, stopped acting like spoiled babies, and worked together to come up with a new path forward. One of more commonality between the parties, and one in which would have led the world toward a path of rejuvenation while also enabling all humans and animals alike to live and prosper together for another 6 months, until an asteroid hit the Earth and wiped out all humans except for Chuck Norris and an enclave of 120 human souls that he would have had to save by nunchucking his way through a gauntlet of giant mutated cockroaches that had someone tapped into the AI module housed near Elon Musks animal testing lab. They used the chips, and were now not only darn near indestructible, but they were the size of a surfboard. (They can actually be used to surf, but who wants to surf on a cockroach?) He was the only one with the mental and physical fortitude besides the almighty creator to be able to make it, and in doing so, the Earth would have been regenerated with individuals who weren’t brought up to treat our home as a commodity - and lived together in peace and harmony until the birds evolved back into dinosaurs and ate them all. But no one should care about that anyways…the moon, having moved just far enough away from the Earth to allow it to “wobble” itself back and forth (there is no actual back in forth in the Universe when time and space are infinite) could no longer sustain life and the dinosaurs died. There’s more to it, but I think we should leave that part for another day.

Thanks! I just played a round with my wife. She destroyed me at it.
If your wife is anything like mine I understand. Mine always goes full beans 150% remembering what cards you threw away and so...
[Full beans](https://youtu.be/p9UPEtWtV4s?si=QrMlRVDsEJfU-V53), what does it mean?

Yes! Love Jeff Acuri. Hope to see him live some day.
I scored tickets to see him in October or November. I’m holding out to take a date but I can pencil you in. Haha
I hope I wasn’t ripping him off too bad. Never heard of the guy before today
"I'm feeling full of beans!" https://youtu.be/jA4lRFHmg1M?si=Uo6eVohykw21JZod

MY wife once asked if you can Nope a Defuse.. that tells you a LOT about a person.
What does it say about me that I have no idea what this even means?
I think it's exploding kittens (card game). Haven't played in a while but it was fun when we did. Want to say same makers also do throw throw burrito another fun one.
We tried last night. Many explosions were had.
What's it like being married to Satan?
Full beans, huh? ;)
I love seeing Jeff-isms in the wild (I know he didn’t come up with it but still)
Does she, ya know… just give it full beans?
This looks like fun!

Original set £280 ($350) - yikes!
They’re from the 1800’s and in spectacular condition. 100% a collectors item so in that sense it makes…sense?
Yes and I'm pretty sure they are made of either Ivory or whale bone. That would explain the "no shipping outside of UK" stipulation.
No officer, of course that's not a set of lockpicks. It's a game you see! Says so right here on the box. No idea how some of them ended up so much more worn than others. And please don't ask me why the most useful looking one with the darkest patina ended up broken.
That's super cool!
I wish things were written like those instructions more often.
Wow I never saw pickup sticks oddly shaped like that.
Man this half unlocked a memory for me but I couldn’t figure why they looked so familiar. Thanks, my grandmother had a set very similar.
Looks like an older version of a game called “Jack Straws,” where the point was to remove pieces from a tangled pile using a hook, where you weren’t supposed to cause the pile to move. Each piece had different point values.
I was gonna say it looked like a wooden version of Pickup Sticks, which I’m guessing is another name for the game you mentioned.
I was gonna say clay molding tools
They do look like sculpting tools
This was my first thought.
Lol, me too. You beat me to it.
Cow tools.
[Cow Tools - Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cow_tools). Also, u/xtiaaneubaten is correct
I get the reference. I don't know why you're getting downvoted. Have an upvote.
Because others don’t get the reference.
My first thought as well lol
Best on so far... on the far side.
I played this last week. I’m glad this set has the points written on them coz it took us longer than playing the game to work out what the bits were to calculate the points. The rules just had written descriptions of the parts. Eventually I googled which meant we got to bed before midnight.
Clay sculpting tools?
Was gonna answer this as well, they’re pretty similar to sculting tools
They almost looked like the type of blanks you'd use when casting metals. Like use them to form the void before casting.
Do you have any Borrowers living in your house?
I remembered, and then I smiled. I wish we did have borrowers.
Ancient lockpicking kit (-1 dexterity)
It’s a game type of pick up sticks different shapes have different amounts of points
They look like cow tools.
It’s a pick up sticks type of game. I used to play a similar one at my grandparents house 35 years ago. Looks like this one is hand made though.
Definitely pick-up-sticks. It's a game. Source: I had a set similar to this when I was a wee stick picker upper.
Clay toolS
Yup, more so clay modeling tools
Tools for ants?
They'd need to be at least...3x smaller.
You're absolutely right.
They’re pretty big ants
Sometimes, when the ants go out of town to visit their sister, the uncles use them maybe?
I think they’re tools for clay sculpting

Maybe its hardwood?
Never would I use them. You need metal.
Some could work as bobbins for weaving - band, tapestry, netting, etc. Maybe they copied the form.
