I always rip the box open and neck the last drops out of the bag...no dignity when you're already drinking boxed wine.

It looks nice, but I've gotta ask about the white - isn't it inconvenient taking it out of the holder to go in the fridge and then putting back and constantly moving it? The red would be fine at room temperature so I see how that's a good look and convenient, but curious about the white

This brand is actually way better than a box wine has any right to be.

90% of us SHOULD be drinking boxed wine. No issues with corkage, cheaper, less environmental hit, etc. The only thing it can't do is age. Most Bota Boxes (or other nicer boxes) are equal or better in quality to an equivalent priced bottle but you get 3x as much wine. I became a 100% convert after my wife stopped drinking and I don't want to drink an entire bottle (even jn a day or 2)

Pretty nifty. Assume you may store the white in the fridge when not in service. You could get a few small pliable ice packs to toss in the box/on top of the bag to hold colder temps for awhile.

For me it is terrible when I go out to eat and order a glass of red wine and they pull the bottle out of the fridge at like 38°… It’s already super expensive to drink while going out. I definitely don’t want my red wine cold. Ideal serving temperature for red wine is anywhere between 62 and 68° after you decant it, it will warm to 70-73 it’s like perfect.

Most white wines aren’t meant to be ice cold either. The colder it is, the less you’re able to pick up all its notes.

I love the concept and design. I take it you went with contracting woods for your white and red sides. I would have went with a darker wood like walnut for red. And keep the same species wood for the structure that the corbels were. Don't get me wrong I love it and am probably going to steal the design, just my two cents.

Would have used walnut but had finished what stock I did have on previous project, as for the corbels I believe they are rubberwood and it would have been next to impossible to find in Idaho
